Had a great experience at this place. The staff was friendly and everyone was willing to help us at our table. The food was very flavorful and seemed freshly prepared. Only bad thing I have to say is I wish the portions were a little bigger. I recommend the NW Benny or the southwest scramble
Overall experience was nice, I came in and was greeted and seated immediately, the server was attentive and knowledgeable, I wanted hash browns but they do a red potatoes dish. This was the only downfall the potatoes had a bad metallic taste, I could not eat them. The pancakes were tough to cut but average in taste, bacon was cooked perfectly and my eggs over medium cooked properly and that is rare.
Great Cafe!! Great Staff!!
What more can I say about Alexa’s Cafe!Great Breakfast, Very good food! Caint wait to try the lunch menu on the next run to visit Bothell! Took my lady out for breakfast after our morning job, it hit the exact spot we needed! Will be back!
I ordered two breakfast sandwiches. The egg and ham muffin: sort of okay, very bland. The croissant sandwich was a disaster, the bottom half was burned , top half was so dry and hard, I discarded it too. I paid $2.5 extra to have the croissant. In Bothell-Woodinville region, this is so far the worst breakfast Cafe I ever tried. Woodinville Cafe, Rusty Pelican, Molbaks Cafe are definitely better choices.
Great food and really nice people!
The owner also has a fishing charter boat!
Zucchini instead of potatoes, tasty as well as brilliant! Good food, service, and atmosphere! There is a reason it’s packed. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two.
Cate and Bella were such a ray of sunshine. I was tickled pink by the amazing service I received. Cate made me a beautiful latte, and Bella’s beautiful smile made my day. I will be coming back just for these two lovely ladies.
Food was delicious. Service was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. A little bit of a wait but it was worth it for the food we got. We had 5 people and everyone loved the food there. Would definitely like to come back.
My mom took me here to celebrate selling her house and it’s nearby where she lives, now.
The service was great and fast and I ordered the tacos al pastor and they would have been perfect if not for the guacamole which was on the menu as avocado, which I could pluck off.
Despot a minor setback, I devoured them once I wiped most of it off as everything else was great! The pork didn’t taste like sugared pork but more like pork cooked with pineapple.
Overall, a very good experience, but the coffee wasn’t anything to brag about. Given the caliber of everything else, I suspect it was this newer French roast craze…
The service and food are always good here. We have had both breakfast and lunch and love the atmosphere and classic good eats!
Always a good meal at Alexa’s. Love the tomato basil soup.
Great place for brunch. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I was able to sit and get some work done with my laptop while enjoying the coffee and vibe
Ambience is pretty good. Food is also good. We went on weekends which is busy due to brunch traffic, so service was little slow, but it gave enough time for us friends to catch up.
So if you going for brunch or lunch on weekends then expect wait times of ~25-30’mins and plan ahead
This is the absolute gem of Bothell. They have had the same friendly and attentive staff for years and have never compromised food quality over profits. If you want quality, fresh food with great service, go here. I love that they have half and full portions, so if you need something small no need for leftovers, you will probably not eat anyway 😉
Very cute place with a nice light upbeat atmosphere and delicious food and coffee
Been coming here for years with a growing family – great place to have breakfast and brunch or get a quick soup and sandwich takeout order for lunch.
Great Breakfast options, loved my latte as well. I haven’t been on Main St for quite some time, Alexa’s has made some very nice updates. Love the high windows bringing in more natural light.
Not as expected
– no checking in after serving order
– we were seated directly in the way of cool vent despite having a kid. Complained but no use.
– food was flavorless compared to other breakfast places we have been in Bothell
Overall a disappointing experience.
Cute place. Food was pretty good too.
We bicycled there so honestly we probably would have loved any food cuz we were so hungry. But the atmosphere, and the waiter were absolutely delightful. And the food outstanding. The clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had.
No joke , good classic egg 🍳 Benedict.
Coming back to try more
Loved it! Excellent food, great service. And since the street outside the restaurant is closed to cars, it’s actually quite pleasant to sit outside! Superb Bloody Mary too!
Thank you for the awesome bloody mary!
Extensive menu, great service, everything is delicious. Great choice to eat there.
Breakfast burrito, BLTA, pancakes and pastries are all great.
Great catering service! They have wonderful varieties of food on their menu and we were able to accommodate a few different food sensitivities for our wedding. They had great setup and service during our wedding, and the cleanup was thorough afterwards. The attention to detail and accommodation was absolutely wonderful! Very reasonably priced too! I’m sad that I didn’t get any photos of the food, but it was beautiful and delicious!
Great local breakfast spot!
Terrific lunch with the fellas. Very accommodating and good food. Recommended.
Good breakfast spot. There was a medium wait of about 20-30 minutes on the weekend for brunch but that’s to be expected. Food was reasonably priced and pretty hearty portion sizes as well. Nice on site coffee bar as well.
Best breakfast ever!
Really nice place for breakfast or lunch.
The food was good enough, but pricey, and the wait time was very long!
I stumbled upon Alexa’s when I was looking for lunch in Bothell. Turned out it had to be a quick lunch. I had the curry chicken salad and it was incredible! I also had a great glass of Chardonnay. Unfortunately I had to leave sooner than I anticipated and the waitress was spot on with bringing my check immediately. I will go back!
Nice and comfortable family place and for individuals to enjoy a meal…or just sit back and have a coffee while reading bthe newspaper
Everything was amazing except for the cold fries.
The vegan egg sandwich was fantastic! Definitely coming back to try the other vegan options
Friendly service and worth the wait. Food was amazingly delicious.
Their breakfast is phenomenal. Highly recommend.
Great food. I had the BLTA and can’t wait to go back and have it again, haha. The service was good, everyone was very nice. Atmosphere is great, a lot of tables and tables outside.
This place is super accommodating for vegans – any egg can be changed out for the vegan Just egg and there is a vegan sausage patty. I went on a date with my boyfriend and had a great time. Food was delicious, service was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back!
Great place…
Been going to eat here for decades. Same great experience with updated menu.
This is my new favorite place for breakfast food. We came in on a sunny Sunday around midday and the place was so busy I figured we wouldn’t get a table or the wait would be 45 minutes plus. To my surprise we were seated almost immediately. Service was super fast and efficient for such a busy time. Prices are great for the quality of the food, and I really appreciated the quality and selection of the condiments kept stocked at every table. I was also impressed by the number of vegan and vegetarian options. We will absolutely be back!
The ambiance and the place get 5 stars. It’s pretty nice. Unfortunately, the food is not as good as I was expecting. I bookmarked this place a while ago because many people recommend the eggs Benedict, so after a long wait for a table, I ordered these with a mouth-watering excitement.
Unfortunately, even though I asked for them to be runny, the eggs were solid inside 🙁 and the Benedict sauce was extra vinagery thick and lacking flavor.
The kids’ plate said will include 1 ecramble egg. Unfortunately, the plate had like 5 scramble eggs worth, and even though I tried helping in order to not waste food, it was just too much.
The huevos rancheros seemed to have been alright.
Anyway, I might come back because the spot is nice, but the food expectations would need to be low.
This place is very comfortable and inviting. All the people who waited on me were very friendly and attentive. I had a breakfast croissant, and it was delicious and very big! Coffer was very good, rich but not bitter.
We are locals to Bothell and have been patrons of Alexa’s at their restaurant for a long time! So, we decided to hire Alexa’s for our wedding catering in June 2023. Alexa’s was a truly great choice. Alexa’s has monthly open houses for their catering food, which allowed us to try a variety of options before we settled on our final menu choices. The staff had turnover during our wedding planning process and was proactive about connecting us with their new team members. Everyone was lovely to work with! After our last Zoom visit to finalize all the details (~1-2 weeks before the wedding), we felt confident that things would go smoothly, as the team was very thorough with asking us questions. However, there were some details of what was discussed during that meeting that were not fulfilled the day of:
-My husband and I ended up going to get our own food at the buffet, even though we were told we’d have full plated service.
-There was no water placed in the carafes at the tables for guests as was discussed.
-There were not labels for the food (along with dietary restrictions like vegetarian, vegan, and GF) at the buffet.
Despite these disappointments, our guests were all telling us how absolutely delicious the food was! I haven’t heard such positive feedback about the catering at a wedding, so we’re happy that they were happy! Overall, we’d definitely recommend Alexa’s for wedding catering.
Love this place and all of the delicious breakfast options!
Had breakfast with the family here. Food and service were great.
Sometimes the food quality is inconsistent but I’ve really enjoyed the avocado toast and chop salad. Alexa’s is a staple in Bothell for brunch and lunch. Adding and preserving the outdoor seating definitely elevated the space.
Had lunch there during the local street fair in Bothell, great street fair by the way, and had the best french dip. Cost was very reasonable and sat outside in the sun. They close early though so be prepared for that. Staff was very friendly. Definitely will go back.
Alexa’s Café is the exclusive caterer for the venue we got married at, Pine Creek Nursery, and even if they weren’t we would have been ecstatic to work with them. Initially, Alexa’s hosts monthly tasting trials, in which you can request specific items beforehand. These were incredibly helpful in making menu decisions and the staff were efficient and effective. For our June wedding, we had a vegetarian Italian themed buffet and Alexa’s kindly made substitutions for dishes. One of our main dishes, the lasagna had mushrooms in it, which neither of us like. Leigh and Sydney were incredibly helpful in making recommendations to replace the mushrooms and it turned out to be our favorite dish.
The only challenge that we had with Alexa’s was in coordination with Cort Rentals who provided linens and table settings. There was a late charge that was added for a portage fee and was not very clearly broken out in the initial contract. For context, our head count decreased from 130 initially down to 87 and yet the price for the rentals increased. We recognize this is not Alexa’s fault but felt a little bit duped due to the initial estimate provided by Alexa’s which included cost of rentals.
Overall, Alexa’s was highly responsive, professional, helpful, and above all the food was fantastic! Would recommend them for catering and have a new favorite café in cute downtown Bothell.
Love this place! It’s a great go to.
Good food, cafeteria vibes
Great slams and bennys
I had the crab benedict on an english muffin with crispy potatoes. They were extremely lacking in hollandaise sauce when I bit into them initially, and were way too dry and bland, but my nice waiter got me some extra sauce which made the rest of the meal delish. The menu is a bit pricey for what it offers imo, but that is the norm these days. I would go back though.
Alexa’s catered our wedding and it was SO DELICIOUS and well executed. Everything was exactly how they said it would be and I never worried once about food all day.
Delicious coffee and excellent breakfast.
This is easily one of our favorite places to eat in the area! We tried many things here and not once have we walked away unsatisfied. My favorite is the Crab Eggs Benny. I don’t even look at the menu anymore with this lol
Went back after 10 years between visits, and it’s as charming and delicious as I remember! I’ll definitely return sooner next time.
I usually have Alexas to go, but I sat and met a friend inside this time. I absolutely loved loved loved the food and the wait staff was awesome! I would highly recommend coming here and enjoying their delicious food!
I ate a Keto breakfast which was delicious. I was in a bit of a time crunch and the food and service was perfect. I really enjoyed my breakfast and will be back.. yum!
Been coming here for years, food is usually decent but this time was pretty mid. Their brunch drinks are good, service is always very pleasant (usually a good wait though), atmosphere is very pleasant like a cool hipster vibe.
Great Sunday brunch!
Great food!
Boarderline pricer than expected
One of my favorite places. Great food, service and small town atmosphere.
Loved it!! Every time I go I enjoy the Good Food and Fast Service!! Thank You!!
Vegan breakfast sandwich! And friendly staff. Parking is available in a lot in the back.
Brunch was quite alright but not among the best I had. I’m sorry to say service was not really efficient. We waited around 15 mins to order, after having decided. Had to ask a couple times for someone to take the order.
watered down orange juice, sandwich ham on eggs on Benedict, I stopped coming here for months, just tried it again and it’s worse Now than before.
Great for dining with baby, so glad they have a changing table! Also love that you can get smaller breakfast options, and that they have non-pork breakfast meats. Definitely will be back!
Really yummy food. So grateful for the gluten-free options!
Very nice.
Fantastic food, and service was nice even though they could have been sour about my part arriving (unknowingly) 20 minutes before closing. They also never gave the impression that they were wanting us to hurry and leave. My only complaint is the seating; I have a spine condition and the seats aren’t very comfortable – but that is almost negligible considering the finer points. If we are back in the area, we would certainly stop again (hopefully with better timing).
Food and staff service was great!
Excellent food, service, and value! Brunch was perfect- expertly made and *perfect* Hollandaise on the Eggs Benedict, the dish was absolutely spot-on; the Bloody Mary was perfect- not too spicy, not too thick or thin, and comes with a delicious piece of bacon; the Seabreeze drink (vodka cran) was great, potato home fries were perfectly cooked with a little crunch, if not *slightly* over salted. The breakfast burrito, although very tasty, wasn’t wrapped (tortilla just folded over), so not technically a burrito but delicious nonetheless! Service was excellent- a well-oiled machine, quick seating, drinks and food. Can’t wait to go back! Inside and outside seating, does to-go orders. Big spacious dining with high ceilings. Good for kids too. Free coffee while you wait, and don’t forget a delicious pastry too!
Nice creative fare, good atmosphere, but nothing we’ve tried for brunch really stands out. Always a wait on weekends.
Lots of great options and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
Everything here is delicious. Very hard to get into on the weekends. But worth the wait. If they have clam chowder definitely try it and it’s homemade.
Cute place! Easy to read menu, good prices and you can’t beat the portion sizes. Friendly, quick staff
They include a 15% tip for themselves no matter how good the food or service is and the food is NOT good. They put cinnamon on my eggs and the “cinnamon roll French toast” is just cinnamon dumped on thin bread. When I say, “dumped”, I mean I had to brush it off and the bread still just tasted like cinnamon. Picture is AFTER trying to get the cinnamon off.
I just wanted to treat my boyfriend and I to breakfast and instead I wasted my money because most of this is inedible so thank you for nothing. And I tipped 15% just to pick up this sad excuse for food.
Excellent coffee and food .
My mom and I came to Alexa’s after not having been here for maybe 15 years, and it is more beautiful and quaint than ever, with a gorgeous menu and selection. My Crab Benedict was incredible with a Perfectly poached egg and delicious lemony hollandaise sauce. Lots of crab too! I cleaned my plate for the first time in a looooong time. The atmosphere was busy but cozy and friendly, we enjoyed our meal and the decor! Well be back, certainly sooner than another 15 years. ☺️
