1. Best restaurant on the island, super friendly staff and amazing wine. A hidden gem! Make sure to try the basque cheesecake if they have it that day.

2. Not ashamed to admit that I’ve been to the bistro twice in the same week! Delicious drinks and deserts. The staff is always so friendly and kind. Very attentive. Going in for desert has been a lovely addition to a date night. Dinner is also fabulous; imaginative and tasty. Highly recommend to anyone and grateful for such a wonderfully warm and cozy spot on Bainbridge Island.

3. This might be one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. It was quaint and had an intimate outdoor patio compete with heaters and blankets. We originally stopped in for a flight of wine but decided on lunch as well. The mix of flavors was impeccable. We opted for small plates and chose the House Made Foccacia, Trilogy of Cod Croquettes, and Empanadas. The table next to us said the burger was the best they ever had. We wish we were locals to enjoy more of this place. The flight of choice was red. It was the best wine on the island, and we purchased some to enjoy at home. Amelia Wynn is a must try when visiting Bainbridge.

5. I had been dying to try this place because I heard great reviews but unfortunately, the waiter really turned us off. He seemed extremely disinterested in us, the service was slow and the food was just not what it was hyped up to be.

6. The food and wine were amazing. We had the charcuterie board which had a great selection of meats and cheeses. We also had the empanadas which were delicious – we ended up getting a second order. What made the experience even better was the staff and chef – all were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

   Service was OK – I do believe you are supposed to check if the meal is OK. That didn’t happen. Otherwise fine.

13. Wife made the reservation for an early (Saturday) dinner for us and my parents! Nothing but WOW! Yes, on the pricy side but well worth it! We ordered 5 separate tapas to begin with. We have lots of experiences eating at wine/bistros and the portions are on the much larger size. So, we ordered too many. The shishito peppers were amazing, possibly the best I’ve ever had (it’s hard to go wrong with these but if bad, real bad – the bowl it came in were perfect and my Japanese mom was impressed …… she’s hard to impress!). The octopus calamari was absolutely spot on and a must get with a thick leg portion vice in small pieces! They forgot to put in the order for the olives but that was ok bc we had too many tapas. As for the main course, mom got the halibut and said it was the best she ever had with the sauce. She even tried to get the recipe!!! My wife got the steak and although she asked for it medium, it came medium rare but she said it was yummy! Dad got the lamb rare and loved it. I also got the lamb but asked for it well done and it came medium rare. Although minor, I still gave this place 5 stars! It was just me that was a bit disappointed with the lamb being undercooked for my liking but with 4/5 giving them a 5 stars, I’m sticking with 5 stars! Our server was training a young gentleman and he was perfect in how he treated my parents so that’s another huge plus as they are very particular! If you can impress my mother who’s a professional cook, you’ll always win! Great place, great atmosphere, great food and great customer service. We will be back many times!

14. This was an extraordinary meal! We shared one of each appetizer on the menu and had a culinary experience like none other, enjoyed a lovely Chardonnay, and then everyone had an entree, and the three of us shared two desserts. The cheesecake was not to be believed. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Don’t miss 1) the octopus and 2) the anchovies. The wagyu steak was cooked to perfection. My most favorite restaurant on the island!

16. I booked a seat for 5 on the patio a week in advance and said clearly in my reservation I was bringing my dog and that was why we wanted outdoor seating. My family was seated inside instead and told we couldn’t bring our dog and it was only after I told them they’re the ones who ignored my reservation specifications that they told me we could just keep our dog inside because they had already seated a large party out on the patio and didnt have space for a party of 5. For reference our dog is 10 pounds and he was in a stroller so it wasn’t a huge deal. We ordered 5 entrees and the food was delicious. However, 3 entrees came out first and it took another 15-20 minutes before the 4th entree came out. I then had to ask the wait staff twice (he was very nice for the record) and wait another 10-15 minutes before the 5th entrees made it onto the table which doesn’t make much sense to me because we ordered 2 of the same thing and one order came out with the first round of food but the second order took an additional 25-35 minutes. Everybody was very polite and I think trying their best but I can’t say this was overall a very enjoyable experience.

17. We enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at Amelia Wynn and were blown away by the excellent service and food. From the hostess who made sure we had seats at the bar and a heater for our dinner table to our smiling waiter, we felt cared for throughout. The new menu was outstanding. We even got cozy blankets for patio seating!

18. Wonderful Christmas Eve dinner with friends. Great service and very personable staff. We enjoyed the fish entre and the steak which were so very well prepared. Highly recommend this establishment.

19. Really good wine and decently priced. We had the syrah and a cab. I would suggest making a reservation. We got lucky as they had 2 spots at the bar.

20. Amelia Wynn straddles the line between fine dining and casual eatery very nicely. You can have an excellent meal, surrounded by a tranquil hum of conversation and passers by for a reasonable price. Their food has never disappointed and sometimes impressed. Their staff is warm, welcoming and attentive. I’m always excited to have another opportunity to eat here.

22. As an island local, Ameila Wynn has always been a favorite spot for wine flights or a delicious dinner. When we heard they started serving brunch we were beyond excited. It blew our expectations. The menu is constantly changing and incredible variety of breakfast staples, sweet and savory healthy and lunch options. Best brunch on the island.

    Iit was a cool raining NW day. So we sat inside.
    They also have outside siting.
    We were celebrating our anniversary with our kids.
    Started with two deliteful appetizers.
    The Oxtail Croquette were excellent,
    lite refreshing, reminded me of a crab cake.
    The second was fresh salmon lox over a homemade potato chip
    Just a hint of cheese, lite and refreshing. Humm
    My wife had the Pork Carnitas, four tortilla, a generous helping of fresh roasted pork, freshly made pico de gallo salsa.
    My daughter had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, generous serving of fresh salmon over a fresh cronut.
    My son and I had the Breakfast Tacos, chorizo sauage and egg scramble with fresh tomatoes, humm.
    It was not crowded so service was excellent and not loud, so conversation was easy and delightful.
    So a great experience.

27. Best steak sandwich I’ve had, and my partner loved the chocolate banana waffle. The server was so friendly! And not too pricy compared to seattle.
