1. They are open again and they are awesome. The service was exceptional and the food is incredible.
   This is the first time I have visited Barlows but it will not be the last. I have been traveling to Liberty Lake, for business, the past six months and this was the best experience and meal to date.

2. Quick seating & service. Food was perfect portions, just enough. Wait staff super efficient and friendly. Glad they are finally back from covid

3. A family owned business that stands out as one of my favorites in the Greater Spokane Valley area. These folks are a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is clean and professional.

4. I came with some friends that were trying it for the first time. The waitress was super friendly and willing to offer suggestions. The drinks and appetizers were really great. Try the plum Kamikaze! We sat outside and smelled the prime rib on the Traeger, and really wished we had time to stay for it, it smelled wonderful. Barlows is a gem in Liberty Lake.

5. White staff was excellent but I had the Philly steak and cheese that I was excited for because it it is made from prime rib.. the meat went dry and I was a little disappointed… Coconut prawn appetizer was excellent

6. There was nothing on the menu that I could eat. We came in from breakfast. They don’t carry egg substitute. Their prices are astronomical for what you get. We actually did not even order once we looked at the menu and the server verifies that there wasn’t anything I could eat, we decided not to spend the 25 on a meal for my husband while I went hungry.

7. Had dinner there on 7/28 and was not impressed. I ordered the Reuben sandwich which looked really good on the menu. It was not good! The corned beef was extremely salty, couldn’t taste the dressing there was so little of it and instead of sauerkraut they used coleslaw.

   My friend had the fish and chips. She said the fish was dry because it had a coating on it that wasn’t the typical battered coating and felt it had been cooked to long.

8. My wife and I chose to dine here for the first time, being new to the area. On entering, the impression is local, laid-back, and comfortable. Service was very polite, attentive, and kind. Menu options are standard American. The food was tasty, but fairly average, hinting that much Is not scratch made. Place was pretty busy on the evening we dined. Probably won’t be returning.

9. Had dinner and drinks tonight. I had been there before for lunch and brunch. The bar is great, staff was awesome and the food wonderful. We will be back

10. I waited way too long to get my drinks and 2 hours for food is terrible good thing the food i good they need a bigget kitchen big time i won’t go back for anything other the the seafood chowder to go thats it

12. Wonderful lunch today at Barlow’s. The food was delicious and Mattea was a great waitress, so warm and friendly. I highly recommend the onion rings, the batter was light and crisp. Definitely will be going back.

13. The improvements this establishment has made while they were closed during covid is phenomenal. The decor is fun and upbeat and the food is delicious. The staff is attentive and really seem to enjoy serving their customers. I will gladly return.

14. Went there for a small family gathering dinner. NO mask compliance at this establishment. Seems that another reviewer shared the same thing in September. Are they just waiting to be reported to the state? Family will most likely not return there. Too many problems in the past few months. Noncompliance to mask mandate was the last straw.

15. Lax on mask rules for guests/staff and clearly interested in conspiracy theories. Our dinner was cold and our vegetables were nearly raw. I admittedly applied to work there before speaking to the manager and realizing their attitude towards quality and public safety. So glad I work elsewhere!

16. Had the Cajun Fettuccine. It had a zesty and pleasant flavor, but only came with two shrimp, two small chunks of sausage, and a tiny piece of chicken. For $26 I guess I expected more. The sides were a small cup of chili that was nothing special, and a small yummy dinner roll. TLDR; food was not bad, but on the pricier side for the portion/meats included.

17. This was more of a serendipitous visit for us. Hubby wanted breakfast, I was up for anything. Greeted in the bar by very friendly and happy staff. Sundays they serve breakfast all day because they close at 2pm. Food was great, service was amazing. We will definitely come back.

19. I got the shrimp alfredo, and the srimp was hard as the plate not cleaned (had shell pieces and not devained), the alfredo tasted like breakfast gravy? Best way I can describe it. And the waitress/owner was LOUDLY talking a few tables over about how she expected people to tip 15-20% MINIMIM, then just laughed and called people cheap. Seriously? Wont go back.

20. Our family had a very nice experience here. The service was genuine and caring, the food was very enjoyable, and the atmosphere was quiet, clean, and comforting. The decor was a fond expression of the local history and a warm touch of the founders’ family. From those we know, we hear they provide a consistently enjoyable experience. Worth a visit!

21. Sadly I went there tonight after seeking out a local restaurant with Prime rib. They were sold out for the night, which I felt was a good sign on their quality of meat. I ordered a new York strip steak for $28. It came cooked as ordered but completely under seasoned. Mash potatoes and gravy seemed of the prepackaged type. I am glad I didn’t have the opportunity to be underwhelmed by the prime rib. My $11 Moscow Mule was sent back also due to its stale/ flat ginger beer. My child’s plate was so hot from siting under the lights, the waitress apologized for being too busy to serve food when ready, including my dinner salad before my steak arrived. I had high hopes but will not return to this overpriced diner.

22. We had eggs Benedict and strawberry crepes both were delicious. The staff are friendly and our food came fast.

23. We had a large group for breakfast and they were great! Our waitress, who took care of all 20 of us, was super friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, and the portions were large. I would definitely recommend Barlow’s!! Thank you so much for the great service!

27. So glad they’re back open Wednesday-Sundayand going strong! Amazing Fresh squeezed OJ and breakfasts. They also amazing prime rib dip sandwiches! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always great!

28. Barlow’s service, ambiance and food quality is amazing. We were seated immediately and attended with a beverage order. The restaurant is comfortable and good for having casual chat. Noise level low. Menu is the perfect size offering a nice simple variety to suit your tastes. I wanted a small keto type dish so salad and delicious chicken wings, highly recommended. Burgers are gourmet. Next time maybe a steak? The restaurant has easy on/off freeway access and a few fueling stations including Tesla charging. Make Barlow’s a destination or a great meal on your journey either way it’s a win.

29. Sunday breakfast time they got us back immediately took our order with in minutes of us sitting down. Strawberry crapes were good but they could have been a little better with more sugar in the crepe recipe. The waitress was great!

31. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. When finally seated at one of 5 empty tables around us we sat there ignored for about 10 minutes until we finally just got up and left. No coffee, no eye contact, nothing. I told the hostess to remove us and the reason why – she wasn’t getting it until the manager said “they were seated and we missed them” she said “sorry” and I said “me too” and walked out. Too bad – the menu looked great, prices were fair. Atmosphere nice. I would have stuck around if we’re at least given coffee

32. This place was great! Went there for a SSA seminar. Had very good service. The staff very friendly. I had steak and prawns. The steak was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Highly recommend!

33. They accomodated our large group in their private room. The food for over 30 people came out at the same time and was hot. My steak was perfect.

34. Looked for a restaurant for breakfast. Did a online search for one near my location and Barlows came up near me with very good reviews. And the reviews were spot on. Great breakfast, great service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend

35. As a regular customer I am not happy paying 18% more on call and pick up orders. I am home bound and we wish to have one night out. Many customers are older, this won’t be a welcome option.

41. Won’t be returning to this establishment. Upon walking in we were mean muged by the employees standing around leaning on the counter, about three of them. The restaurant was not busy in the least bit so it was clear they didn’t wanna work or be there. My drink came with a bug in it, the mahi tacos were a sloppy mess and just edible at best. Our actual server did the bare minimum after realizing we weren’t going to order anything additional. And once again mean mugged by the bartending and cook staff on the way out. Good luck to you Barlows, I’ll be sure and never recommend you guys. Cheers

42. This restaurant always has exceptional menu items and good prices. Last visit i tried the mahi mahi tacos under the shareables menu and i would DEFINITELY get them again! The fries with ranch dip are a perfect light crisp on the outside, while the ranch dip must be made in house or something, and is extremely delicious.

43. We had fish and chips for lunch. The food was good and served hot. Nice atmosphere. The receptionist knowticed it was snowing outside and asked if we wanted to be seated by the fireplace. It was nice having an employee that was paying attention and willing to offer the ( our option ) best table in the restaurant. Will definitely return to try breakfast or dinner.

46. I just went there with my boyfriend, the raspberry vinaigrette tasted like cigarette water, the soup was definitely canned, and on top of all of that, their $16 tacos had hair on them. We told the waitress and she laughed then said oh sorry, then walked off, So I left $10 for what we ate, then left and the manager chased us out saying we needed to make things right, then he scolded us like children saying that it was wrong of us to leave because he had ordered our entrees, sorry I don’t want my entree after getting hair on my food. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before, but the waitress was so disrespectful and offered absolutely no solution, she just laughed and walked off. That was the last straw for me. She never said anything about making a new one. I just felt that she didn’t care. I won’t be trying this place ever again.

47. One of my favorite places. I love the employees. I love the food. Everything is made from scratch. Wonderful service.

49. The staff was amazing, which was the only saving grace. The food, however, was severely overpriced for what is being served. The breakfast burrito is $16, and comes with no sides. It was blander than bland. Potatoes inside of it were mushy which gave the impression of eating mashed potatoes. Without me using every bit of salsa and sour cream that comes with it, as well as salt and peppering the heck out of it, it would have had no discernible flavors at all. Single shot Bloody Mary was $11.50! It was chunky and powdery in texture. A side of bacon is $6.99, which is almost the cost of an entire pack of bacon at the store. If you’re going to charge these prices, the food needs to be really up to scratch.

53. We stopped in to try something new and left wishing we had just eaten at home. It took ten minutes for anyone to greet us (no big deal, everyone is short staffed). We were ready to order when our sever came over-one beer, one steak, one fish and chips. The beer arrived a good 15 minutes later. Again, no big deal (I work in this industry and know how it goes). The steak came out raw, no big deal, sent it back and it came out a second time still raw so I sent it back and our sever didn’t ask if I wanted a different meal. When she returned to basically being our check I asked how long it would be to order something else, and was told 15 minutes because other people were ahead of me. At this point we are just ready to go. The chips my fiancé ordered were fine, but we definitely won’t be back. Just super disappointing to order an entree they boast about on their menu and no one was concerned at all about how to make it right.

54. Great for breakfast! Very accommodating and friendly staff. Nice thick chewy/crunchy bacon and french toast with good old Texas Toast, the way it should be. 🤠
    Will try for dinner and will definitely be back for breakfast!

55. The food here is fairly good but not quite worth the price. Still, the restaurant has a great ambiance, friendly staff, and fast service. Next time I will get a different meal, which will probably push my opinion to five stars.

59. Great service and food, I ordered a bloody Mary with a specific vodka (got charged extra) but the second one was made up before we even ordered it,(was made with house vodka) I wasn’t happy about the waitress stealing my money, I don’t say anything but I also will share my experience.

60. Perfect place to spend time with a date or friends,.. clean, reasonable, and fair portions. Service is on point and the wait staff pay attention to the customers. We’ll be going back again, count on it!

62. Just ok, nothing remarkable. Servers are aloof. Dthey don’t really care. I ordered breakfast. Tasted on stale grease. Link sausages were cooked beyond being edible.
