I really enjoyed the Dungeness Crab omelette for breakfast. My wife had the eggs Benedict with crab as well. The staff is wonderful.
Ordered to go clam chowder and it’s ok.
Delicious! Easily the best crab omelette I’ve ever had . Heaping loads of fresh local dungeness crab . It was a little busy but the staff did a great job, service was timely and friendly.
So delicious! Stopped in for eggs benedict one morning while on vacation & absolutely had to stop again the next morning to try the crab benedict, both were amazing! I can’t wait to stop by & try the Monte Cristo next time we’re in Westport.
Amazing staff, delicious food, great atmosphere. The crab eggs Benedict was wonderful. We also got a basic breakfast with the sausage links that was exceptional. I highly reckoned Blue Buoy for breakfast.
The service was delightful, the customers next to us were 2 teenage girls that were very noisy. They were the only unpleasant thing we experienced.
I would highly recommend the clam chowder.
The hostess told us a delightful story about her ancestors making the chowder and ended with it’s the comment that “it’s the best”. And I totally agree with her. All 3 of us agreed on that.
Excellent food. Best Breakfast in the area. Slow kitchen speed (and from scratch cooking as they are a small place) and that is ok with me.
My family was most impressed with the food. It was delicious, well prepared and generous portions.
We came in around 9am and we were one of the first customers inside. By the time we got our food this place started rocking and filled up.
Food:
I had the Dungeness Crab Benedict:
This has an amazing portion of crab. The sauce was perfect, eggs perfect, and the English muffins were also prepared perfectly. The hash browns had an amazing taste and crispiness.
My wife had french toast, bacon and eggs.
She’s very picky and 90% of the time she won’t eat eggs from restaurants as she likes them slightly browned. She ended up devouring her eggs and was flabbergasted that they were cooked to perfection. Bacon was also very well prepared and had a perfect crisp!
My son had pancakes, eggs and sausage.
Let me warn you these pancakes are not playing around. The portions here are fit for kings! They offer sausage links and patties, my son wanted the links and these are also great tasting! I ended up stealing one as he couldn’t finish his.
Service:
There was only one waiter when we showed up. She was beyond nice, professional, and amazing! She kept up with keeping our coffee filled which, was also an amazing cup of Joe! She was quick to get seated, take our order, and talk us through the menu giving us ample time to make our minds up!
Cost:
My crab bennidict was half my bill, but for breakfast the dungeoness crab was beyond amazing and huge portion. Ultimately plan on $10-20 a person for most menu items. Crab gets upwards of $30 ($26 for my Benedict… Which was 💯 worth it.)
If you find yourself in Westport you better find yourself eating here for breakfast! I know Google only gives us 5 stars, but this place is higher than 5 stars for friendlessness, service, quality and portions of food.
Thanks for the astounding meal and service!
Small family breakfast/lunch place, really cool fishing/seaside decor.
Super friendly service, great food with huge portions. The menu is fantastic and could easily be great for dinner too but they close after lunch.
The food is super good. The coffee not so good.
Delicious burrito and GREAT service!
Best oysters benedict I’ve ever had!
We were seated immediately, good service and I highly recommend ordering the Dungeness crab omelette.
The freshest Dungeness crab possible — get the crab Benedict, it’s to die for. They make a mean mimosa too.
Hats off & applause to the staff, host, waitresses & cooks at Blue Buoy. Seating was quick & attentative serves that was produced was amazing. With a spontaneous group of 14 the serves was spot on & the seating was put together in just a couple minutes..literally. outstanding presentation of food platters & OMG, the fish & chips are a must order when visiting. Thank you again Blue Buoy [Westport, Wa.]
I never thought I would consider paying $26 for a crab omelet but it was very well worth it. The food was delicious! The service was great! Overall a great little breakfast spot. Probably my favorite on the Harbor now.
Truly wonderful clam chowder! Loaded with tender clams in silky smooth & flavorful broth.
The Fish & Chips were of good portion but was over cooked and hard, taking away taste. My food was hardly warm when I got it 38 minutes after ordering, waiting time caused me to expect more. Additionally, restroom was not to standard, very small and leaky water pipes. Sorry but the truth.
Wonderful place, was feeling cooped up and took a drive. Walked in and had a oysters poy boy. Wonderful food and service. Best place to stumble in.
Raspberry stuffed French Toast! Excellent! Wonderful staff!
Wonderful crab omelet! I have to be gluten free & they accommodated me. Gave me alternative choices I loved. Super friendly staff.
