    Had a burrito. Very tasty.

  2. Cathy Froment

I had the chili relleño and it was really good. I was so pleased with the flavors here. I would love to try more items. Recommend

  3. Tom Vu

Amazing quality, amazing food, amazing prices. Service is friendly and efficient and the tacos are oozing with flavour! I would cross the border anytime to eat this 🔥🔥

  4. Greg Hughes

Good food, but a little Italian flare to the food. We are from southern California and while the food was good its not what we are use to.

  5. Manny Jose

Food is so fresh and tasty. You should try it after getting cheap gas or picking up a package in Blaine.
The Best Shrimp tacos ! And other authentic Mexican fare.

  6. kim brunette

    Absolutely fantastic 😍
Authentic flavor. Will eat there tomorrow as well 😃

  7. Marc Lawrence

Had a great Torta. Next time the great looking Nachos will be my choice.

  8. Laurie john Brunetti

Excellent food, authentic and a great breakfeast burrito

  9. Nickie Dunker

Starving after waiting to cross border. Friendly staff. Excellent tasting food.

  10. IRHrok Hinds

The green sauce is spicier than the red one

  11. James McDonald

Good food. Just wish I didn’t wait a full ten minutes longer than the other two people I was with, to get my food.

  12. Fqhbug123 THATDUDE

I got the nacho and they were delicious if I come back I’ll get in again

  13. George Sifri

Got the wrong order and never fixed the order and the owner never gave me a refund. and the food was very bad. Don’t expect them to fix your order if they get it wrong!

  14. Jack Rowse

The lady making the food needs to put a hair net on! 2 out of 4 tacos had hairs in them. Absolutely gross and unacceptable. I won’t ever eat there again.

  15. Chris Y

This has got to be the best mexican food in the Pacific north west. I’ve been wanting good mexican food since visiting Palm springs and San Diego and Bordertown definitely fits the bill. Ingredients are fresh and the torta was very filling. I’d cross the border from Canada just for Bordertown grill.. and gas haha

This is a jewel of Mexican food! Walking up it seems tiny and curious but there is almost always a short line of eager people. Their open earlier on weekends. There are plenty of large black metal tables in front as well as along the side that could be used for large groups as well. Tables have an umbrella on each one to be put up in case the sun becomes too hot. Huge portions on the Everything Nacho plate! We chose beef carne asada as our meat. We didn’t wait long for our order to be up. With that first bite and-BAM- my tastebuds were overjoyed. I found the use of only mozzarella cheese refreshing as well. My wife and I shared the nachos along with 2 frosty cans of soda
    ALL under 20 Bucks!
Great view and people watching just topped it all off!

  17. Tom Elder

Ridiculously amazing food here! These guys know exactly what they are doing. Everything is house made, including their fresh and flavorful hot sauce. The dish in the photo is the taco plate. Try anything. It’s all great!

  18. Eric “EzGz” Gamblin

Best Mexican food in Whatcom county. Not the usual mediocre food that most mexican restaurants in this region serve.

  19. Ivan Gamble

Our cav fav as I call it great food and service

  20. Bally Dhillon

2nd time here and food was great!

  21. Jeremy Johnson

Some of the best taco truck style Mexican I’ve ever had in my life!!! Pastor tacos are phenomenal, carne asada tostada was amazing, but the brisket quesadilla was life changing!!! Best quesadilla I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m fat and have eaten ALOT of Mexican food. Service was also very fast and very friendly. So sad I live 4.5 hours away from here or I would be here a few times a week!! Pardon the half eaten food pics. I didn’t take them before, but couldn’t not take them after I tried the food.

  22. Chris B

The burritos here are so good. Service is very friendly

  23. Harman Toor

    Amazing food, friendly service.

  24. Alannah Banovac

Awesome addition to dt Blaine! Love the concept of this place a food truck but not a food truck. You can see all the goings on of the kitchen when you walk up to place your order. Very friendly staff, helpful with the menu and yummy Mexican food!! Would be a nice touch if they offered complimentary chips and salsa but you can’t have it all.

  25. Ken Jensen

Delicious food, friendly service, the very best prices in town!

  26. Doug Cross

    Best Mexican in Blaine!

  27. Alison White

Food is always absolutely delicious, from what used to be a street truck this place graduated to a newly opened store front on Blaine’s Main Street. It is a local favorite and always has wonderful food. It is unique for a Mexican bistro as they also have both varied vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious meat dishes. The carnitas street tacos are particularly good as are any of their burritos. I eat meat, the rest of my family are either vegetarian or vegan, and this is one of the few places we can eat locally together where they can easily get a main course. Service is excellent though they are usually very busy so it will take time to get your order. I suggest calling ahead to cut down on any wait time if you are in a hurry, though I have always found it to be worth waiting for. Located on Blaine’s Main Street they share both charming outside bistro style seating near a local Starbucks and a modern outdoor fireplace. Very wheelchair accessible and pet and kid friendly.

This is a little walk-up stand overlooking the water and harbor. I love coming here for breakfast for the breakfast tacos and breakfast burrito. Their pastor, chicken, and beef are excellent. 10/10 the horchata and breakfast omelette are also worth a mention!

  29. Rob Bell

    Wonderful. Chipotle salsa is fantastic.

  30. Bani Malhotra

I drive down so often from Vancouver just to eat at Bordertown Mexican Grill! The Birria is absolutely addicting and the quality is fantastic! Try and stop by here for food/ take out on your way back to Vancouver – you won’t regret it 🙂

  31. PCC&C Reviews

I love BoarderTown, you HAVE to try there Brisket 🙂 I usually get the brisket quesadilla or the brisket supreme burrito. Both are amazing and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  32. Elizabeth

Amazing authentic Mexican food, excellent value !!! Now I will never complain about going to the mailbox store from Vancouver, with this fantastic food beckoning me! It is right beside the beautiful new Starbucks on the main drag in Blaine!

  33. T. Shane Michaloski

Beautiful spot , yummy food, amazing people, grab a quick Starbucks while you wait for your food.

  34. Kiana Gerhart

I think this place has great authentic Mexican food. The prices for food are, I think, worth the price. The chicken tamales and the fish taco are really good!

  35. Sharp Shooter

Was hoping for an amazing meal and it would become a place I would frequent, but overall it wasn’t that great. The tacos and rice were dry and not very flavorful. The nachos didn’t come with sour cream and when I asked for one more sour cream (after spending $70 for our group of 5) they told me it would be extra.

  36. Brendan M

Best authentic Mexican food you’ll find for miles around. Well worth a stop in. The carnitas torta is a must-have favorite

  37. Denver Markell

Fantastic food to be had here. I’m excited to have finally found a good barria place in Whatcom County. Sooo yummy, and very friendly service.

  38. Jonathan Jones

The only knock on this place is the price. They’re about $5 a plate too expensive. Example, a simple chicken quesadilla cost me $16 USD. After conversion, that’s $21 CAD. Way too high. I think they charge so much to match Canadian prices, since it’s right across the border and beside a Starbucks. But I won’t be back, regrettably, because the owner is more interested in becoming rich than offering a fair price for a great product.

  39. Kenny Lobb

This is a must stop for me when ever I come down to the states, well priced and very tasty I always stop here at least once on my trips. Would recommend

  40. Forest Kobayashi

By far the best Mexican food in a 1hr driving radius of Vancouver. Went to school in LA so I’ve been really missing it. I stop by here every time I head south

  41. Lindsey Witkowski

I love this place so much! Amazing quality and flavor.

  42. jaskaran ghag

Small take out place near the border.
    The taco birria was DELICIOUS!
Meat was tender and the flavours were on point.
    Would recommend this place!

  43. steve s

Waited 15 mins for an order, and then they refused to give me my food. I even offered to pay again. Not a good choice for customer service or quick food.

  44. oliver quinones

14 dls for a 🌯 deluxe burrito and it had almost no pastor, they were more beans than anything, very expensive for what they offer

  45. Sukhdeep Singh

Despite the positive reviews, the food did not meet our expectations. In particular, I was disappointed with the Birria tacos as they were overpriced and lacked sufficient meat. Furthermore, the additional charge of $5 for Birria Consome, which did not contain any meat, was a letdown. Paying $5 for a bowl of soup without any protein was unacceptable and felt like a ripoff.

  46. Steve & Nicole Janiszewski

Excellent food with lots of choices!

  47. Rajeev Majumdar

Great food; the only drawback is that you will be dining outside or taking your food to go. When the weather is good, this is a perk, not so much for most of the year. The food is awesome though. 👌🏽 Get the Birria Quesotaco.

  48. Navinder Jabal

Authentic. Great price. Great service. So good.

  49. Amanda Wilson

My dad and I love to cross the border just to come here for the fantastic tacos. I’m a big fan of the carnitas, and the pollo is great too.

  50. Ej Castro

This store is in a great location by the docks. The area is actually pretty neat with good vibe. I bet this area is busy during summer. The eating is outdoors.

I ordered biryaa plate. Cooked real good.

  51. Stephen Cox

    Delicious. Just delicious.

  52. Raj Chand

The best food in Blaine .. I mean the best

  53. Dee Dee

its been a very long time since Ive been able to find authentic tacos. If you want authentic Mexican food you must come here.

Birria plate – 3.8/5 the brisket just fell apart very soft and the portion is generous!

Al pastor taco – 4.5/ 5 ( the flavor and the way it was cooked was amazing) wish it came with pineapples for a solid 5/5.

Beef tongue taco- 5/5 surprisingly so tender and succulent it just melts in your mouth! Must try!

4 tacos and birria plate came out to roughly $30.14USD

Must also try their hot sauce with everything ! It is 👩‍🍳💋

  54. Dee Bennett

    Best place in town

  55. William Lee

Al fresco seating only, so order to-go if you don’t like the weather. We had a party of 9, so a lot of variety in what we ordered. Everyone loved what they got. I loved my enchiladas, but I was sore-jealous of my sister’s nachos…next time.

  56. James Metz

The food is always amazing, good for a quick meal to eat. Somewhat pricey but always a great place to go to & eat, especially with family.

  57. Sam

This is a fantastic place to eat if you’re in blaine. The food is phenomenal. It’s an outdoor type of restaurant right by Starbucks, so they share outside seating. It’s very popular in town so the wait is going to be 10-15 min, but not much longer than that since they are very efficient. I usually order food from them once a week after my short shift since they’re really close by, and the food is 100% worth the wait.

  58. Mr. Lopez

Service isn’t bad. Not a fan of oil-dipped tortillas for tacos, so I go for the tortas, but it was just as greasy for the birria torta. I got mostly fatty meat and the dipping caldo is ridiculously oily. At $14.50 definitely not getting that again.

  59. E W

Best Mexican food in whatcom county.

  60. Ken B.

Tried this Mexican spot, it’s kinda like a food truck in that there is no indoor seating but does have outdoor seating with umbrellas. The food was incredible, ordered the chorizo plate. It was pan fried chorizo mixed with eggs, potatoes, green peppers with Mexican spices with a side of rice, soft beans with cheese and 5 fresh tortillas. They also provided house made hot sauce on the side. My order was made at order. Everything was so good, quality and serving was 10/10. The hot sauce was so flavourful. It was $18CAD after tax but it’s still worth it as I haven’t had anything like this in Canada. Worth the try!

  61. Hailey Nelson-Martinez

This place was so amazing as a taco truck they made a kitchen/stand for it. They have authentic food, that is perfect for everyone. And the outside seating is amazing, especially waiting by the outside fireplace.

  62. Tim Campbell

Shared a plate more than enough

  63. A W

The brisket burrito was bland but the shrimp taco was excellent. Tasty and tender.

  64. Grant McMeekin

    Food was good but expensive!

  65. Ellie Toole

Delicious food. It was all good (torta, quesadilla, birria, guacamole). Nice outdoor seating. Lovely people.

  66. Robert Parks

Great dishes and fast friendly service. The hours are a little short during the street fair. But Blaine is a small place, so it is to be expected.

  67. Tim Sheets

What a great little spot. No indoor seating so I think it might be seasonal. Out door seating in a beautiful area with an optional to-go ordering. Great little place.

  68. Laura A Potter

I’m a trained chef and come from a long line of amazing Mexican women cooks and in my experience Border tacos have the best birria in the county. Chiles relleno are the most authentic and delicious I’ve had in Washington state. They never disappoint, consistently great food. Also have had their burritos Supreme, delicious!!!!!!

  69. Brett Thorn

Amazing Mexican food right on the water in Blaine. Perfect lunch spot!

  70. T C

Ok Mexican food stand at the US border.

  71. Aaron America

Solid tacos and good selection of tasty inique drinks. Worth waiting in line for.
