1. Great little hole in the wall. Burritos are huge and tasty. Considering covid forced us to eat in car, not messy and well wrapped. Will definitely eat there again.

9. Oh. My. Gawd. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I had a torta and ate every bite and it was huge but I just couldn’t stop! Will definitely be back, I must try every item on their menu now.

10. I highly recommend. Very clean location with attentive and kind service. Food is extremely fresh and the options are extant. The tacos are fantastic and I highly recommend their red sauce. I plan to visit again and try more options.

14. My family and I have been here twice. The first time was in the middle of quarantine and it was smaller inside with no tables (looks like they had sectioned off half of the restaurant to possibly limit individuals inside). We only got snacks the first time around (tostilocos, nachos and aguas frescas). The second, the whole restaurant was open and there were tables to dine-in. We ordered food and sat at a table. We ordered pozole, chicken enchiladas, tacos de asada, a corn on the cob and a chicken quesadilla. The pozole was good, but needed a bit more flavor and definitely more cabbage. The dried hot peppers were a nice touch. Added real good heat! The enchiladas, tacos and quesadilla were good. The corn was ok, but looked a little sad, like it had been sitting in water long before we ordered it. All in all, we’d go back for certain items! The staff was also very friendly!

    Update, first week of May 2021: The last time I went in there was a new menu sign with higher prices. Kind of disappointed but I understand. The only thing they have to understand is that my wage didn’t go up so I cannot purchase as often.

21. So delicious!! I got 4 al pastor tacos, esquites, churros & horchata. I also tried my nieces enchilada and beans. Everything was excellent. Will definitely be back to try more!! Such a little gem.

22. Very clean and friendly. Order was accurate and of high quality. For my taste buds the flavor seemed mild on the tacos, but the rice and beans were quite tasty. Also tried the mango slushy drink, which was made with real mango! What a treat.

23. I got a milanesa torta and it was better then i expected ! The steak was tender and the breading flavorful ,salsas need improvement big time , i also got a taco de birria and that tasted ok if u never had the real thing ,other then that it’s a good place and I’ll definitely be coming back for more

26. This place is Authentic! They make their food like the stuff I grew up on! The burrito was Hot, grilled and So Good! I had the Supreme with ground beef.
    We had Chips and Salsa with Guacamole. The guac had tomato and cilantro in it too! Just how I like it!
    The other places dont compare and I have been disappointed for years! They also make fresh fruit juice and Horchata!

28. I phone ordered here for lunch. The person on the other line was extremely friendly and patient. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. Everything was accounted for and service to get the food was excellent. I look forward to returning.

34. Tables were dirty. Little overpriced for what you get. There is a lot of self service as bottled drinks and salsa out of coolers. They try I guess. Staff was friendly.

35. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the entire area. The service is very good most of the time. Every once in a while, the order is wrong. But, the quality of the food is well worth it.

37. I’ve had their tacos, which are delicious by the way of the 3 kinds I had I felt the flavor was one point for all of them. The birra tacos are authentic and the tortas are absolute fire. This is definitely a Mexican joint everyone needs to try.

39. Delicious, fresh, interesting menu with plenty of classics too, delicious drinks. There is a hot sauce bar. They close weirdly early so plan your time!

43. Great Mexican food restaurant. Best in Spokane by a long shot. Staff is always friendly. They have a great selection of snacks alongside their menu, if you’re not feeling a full meal. Fresas con crema is definitely worth trying, I hear they use some type of special cream in it that just makes the flavor pop.

45. Being from California I was having trouble finding good Mexican food in the area. Someone recommended ChooChoo Tortas and I have found my go to place. Tortas are great, shrimp cocktail was amazing first time I tried it, it’s still very good they just cutback on the amount of shrimp they put in it. Burritos are very good, the Quesobirria tacos are a must try. Staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place, food is flavorful and authentic

46. Yum! I’ve been looking for a great street taco in the city and this place did not disappoint! Best part I got 4 in the order and I could mix and match. My husband had the Chimichangas and he like them too. Yay for good Mexican food.

51. The restaurant is amazing and the cashier was just as good. The only reason I’m not giving 5 star as their food was a bit salty for my liking and the rice didn’t taste authentic. Overall they are very friendly and they seem very clean to what I could see.

52. Enjoyed our first visit. Wife had great burrito and I had a torta. Only complaint was torta was a type that required a sauce on top, making it a knife and fork meal rather than hand held. Taste was great and torta was very large with lots of pulled pork inside Burrito was also huge and tasted great. Saw that they had California Burrito on menu. Haven’t seen since living in California ,(burrito with fries inside along with normal lfillings.). Will try next time. Place was clean, fast, and pleasant.

53. We are staying in Spokane for a few days and wanted some Mexican food tonight. This place popped up on my “food near me” search and I’m sooooo glad it did!! The customer service was great, food came out to us pretty quick and everything was DELICIOUS!!! I got the 2 sopes with rice & beans. Hands down the best sopes I’ve had. I ate half before I took a pic 😂 My husband got the torta de asada with bacon. He enjoyed his food as well. The agua frescas are so good too. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to eat some good Mexican food. They also have raspados, botanas and spicy candies. 👌🏼

54. Choo Choo Tortas is awesome! Very nice restaurant which is pleasant to sit down in eat in. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean and the food is great. Highly recommend this place and the California burrito subbing sour cream instead of the guacamole. The street tacos and tortas are tasty as well. Cannot go wrong with this place and you will not be disappointed!

61. The place was spotless and the environment was welcoming. The orchata is the best ive had in spokane. Very refreshing and other flavors are not over powering the others. Great balance. The torta just melts in tour mouth 🤤. The bread has a crunch to it on the first bite but then it just melts with the meat and veggies. Hard to come by good breads now a days unless you make it yourself the way tou like it. For a fast food setting it was hands down the best in town. Food and service wise. I will recommend to friends and family. I’ll be going back until ive tried everything on the menu 😋

62. Love this place. I have eaten here a few times. Food reminds me of my friends mothers cooking in California. Could use some salt but better add then complain it is too salty.
    Price is pretty good for Spokane two people with tip 38 bucks.
