Nice, fancy style place with decent food. I prefer my crepes thinner and the German pancakes were yummy but just regular pancakes with a lot of toppings. Their 4 egg omelet was terrible, small and lacking in any flavor at all. If you go for the sweets you will be happy but actually healthier, authentic options, not so much.

  2. Russell B

Always looking for a new place to eat for breakfast. Great to find out they are open at 7. Staff and service is friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak and it was enough for two.

  3. Mark Murphy

This is one of our favourite local restaurants. Their breakfasts have a level of quality that is exceptional and they are creative in their offerings. The service is excellent as well. Altogether I would recommend them incredibly highly.

  4. derek pope

    Delicious

  5. Bondar Werschler

Absolute fantastic breakfast experience from start to finish. The owner and his son were not only personable and lovely people, they made some excellent food. It was our first time in and as soon as the owner heard that he insisted on us trying their cinnamon rolls, and brought us one out free of charge and it was without a doubt the best roll I’ve had. Overall could not recommend more, absolutely must try their homemade root beer!

  6. Kristy Carey

Food was great. Bit of a wait, but we expected that. My ONLY issue was the booths are tight. I’m not small and fitting in felt squishy.

Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and the creme brulee french toast. My friend had drip coffee and an omelette.

  7. Samantha Potter

Our group of 10 met here for brunch, and the staff handled the large group w/separate tickets during peak hours wonderfully. And the food was heavenly. I’m only sorry I didn’t have the capacity to eat my way across the menu, but I have a great idea of where I’ll start next time!

  8. Ben Betti

    FABULOUS SERVICE!!!!!!
    GREAT FOOD.

  9. Brandon Underwood

Decent . Was very busy. but fresh orange juice was best part.

  10. Todd Cady

Great customer service, great atmosphere, WELL WORTH THE WAIT! They make all of their sauces and gravy’s and jams in-house, no pre-packaged/reconstituted stuff here. Food tastes amazing, specifically their special Cheddar Basil Biscuits with homemade gravy! If you like Country Fried Steak and/or Benedicts, you will be impressed with what they have to offer. Highest recommendation would be to go for lunch sometime too, and make sure to try their house Root Beer in a frosty mug! Bring a designated driver and enjoy the mimosas they have. Show up early for best parking!

  11. Kaya “Spokane’s Realtor” Kennedy

The Crimson Burger is very impressive. If you like sweet and savory this is your go to. The side salad was really good too. It had a wide variety of veggies and the homemade ranch is so tasty. Do yourself a favor and try the fresh squeezed OJ!

  12. Loren Carver

Different take on food from the norm. Had the country fried steak. Gravy was good, the steak had an odd after taste. Eggs were cooked perfectly and hash browns were good. Tried the home made rootbeer. It was good but don’t feel like it was worth the $5 because it was only about 20oz.

  13. Tracy Stone

    Great new place.. unique

  14. Christopher Sheller

This place may just have the best breakfast in the Valley.

  15. Ashley Maye

Bring on the carafes of mimosas!!! The food is delicious, great breakfast spot!!!!

  16. Michelle Cline

New favorite breakfast spot! Crimson Hearth has the perfect dining trifecta: delicious food, kind, attentive, staff, and a calm atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.

  17. John Celestino

This place is popular…food is good and at first I did not think the wait staff was that good….however Jayden changed my mind and so did the orange juice…my friend Michael Poulsen from Copenhagen would have like this placeđź‘Ť

  18. Kari Davenport

Great food, bright room & friendly staff.

  19. Tony Strand

Bianca was great and so was the food

  20. Jacobs Auto Glass

    Good Breakfast

  21. Jacques Audet

Amazing place to eat! I have not paid $20 for a burger in 15 years but this place was worth the price. The people, the service, and the actual FOOD. Was amazing…. would recommend and as well go again!!!

  22. Malinda Suom

Went there for lunch and I don’t know what took me so long to try this place. The gentleman serving us was truly delightful and made great recommendations. I was so impressed by their root beer that I’m still dreaming about it. Excited to come back to try the Monte Cristo next

  23. Brent Pope

    Always delicious!

  24. John Beaudry

Really nice place for breakfast and lunch great service. I had the farmhouse breakfast with the lemon crepe which was really good but I expected the lemon flavor to be more forward. My mom had the crimson burger and she enjoyed it with the Tomato soup. I had their Redemption root beer which was good but not the best root beer. unfortunately they were out of cinnamon rolls so i guess i will have to come back for those

  25. Kaitlyn Cobb

As someone from the South, I have high standards when it comes to chicken fried steak, and I have to say that the chicken fried steak at Crimson Hearth did not disappoint. The meat was tender and juicy, and the breading was crispy and flavorful. And let’s not forget about the gravy – it was the perfect consistency and had just the right amount of seasoning to complement the steak. As amazing as the food was, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. If you’re looking for a restaurant that not only serves delicious food but also has a staff that truly cares about their customers, then Crimson Hearth is the place to go. I highly recommend it!

  26. Cara Caddell

    Enjoyed breakfast.

  27. Hang Nguyen-Le

Very tasty. We had the lemon crepe and a meat omelet with bacon. The lemon crepe was delicious. The meat omelet was nicely done, not too salty, just enough seasoning. Hash browns were crispy. The side of sausage links came with 4 instead of your typical 2 for 5.00. What really gives this place the 5 star is that the good food is complimented by good staff – attentive, engaged, and helpful.

  28. Catherine Weathermon

Best breakfast place in the Valley yet!

For our first time we enjoyed one of the Carmel pecan cinnamon rolls 🤤. Soo good! Then we both had one of their versions of eggs Benedict. I had the jalapeno cream and my husband had the sausage. Both were delicious. I would definitely love to go again.

  29. Jeannie Hafer

The food was so delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was great, and we have found the best place to eat in Spokane. We are visiting for the weekend, but the next time we come, we will be sure to come here. We will tell all our friends about this awesome place!

  30. Annie Shiner

    It’s my favorite breakfast place.

  31. Starlene Renfroe

    The Crepes are Amazing

  32. Miss R

    Breakfast is the absolute best!

  33. Lincoln Ward

Really excellent breakfast/brunch place. Super attentive staff and quality food. Highly recommend.
Was so good, we went two days in a row when traveling through the Valley.

  34. Dustin Hhh

Great food, friendly staff, amazing decor. Great place for breakfast or lunch. Cinnamon rolls are to die for.

  35. Sterling Brewer

The only knock I have on them is the parking, bur what can you do about that. The food was amazing and the servers are amazing but kept pretty busy. Best breakfast around.

  36. Brett Schoenberger

The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and decently portioned. Well lit, warm atmosphere and not to busy at 8 am on Saturday.

  37. Jeanne Thompson

    It was good.

  38. JUDY ROGAS

Went there for Mother’s Day after seeing a preview on the news as an option. A long waiting line tells the story and the 45 min wait was worth every bit! Reading the history of the restaurant in the menu was very interesting! My gosh! The service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness, cloth napkins! Sure did enjoy our first visit there and we will definitely return. Going there for my Mother’s Business! special treat! I highly recommend this family business! (if you substitute anything, be she to ask if there is an extra charge or you could be surprised as we were)

  39. Mica Martin

Always driven past but decided to give it a try and we were so happy we did! Great benedict- homemade hollandaise. Great attentive service and restaurant was totally fine with our babbling 6 month old. They even brought out some beneighs for us to try on the house-great touch!
    This is our new spot!

  40. Kennedy Jayne

Great food and service!! The boys at the table complained that portions were small but, I thought it was great.

  41. Barry Trout

First time there. Great food, great service. I’m definitely going to go back.

  42. Matthew Sedgwick

The best brunch spot if you have kids

  43. Todd Arnold

Favorite breakfast place in the county.

  44. Barbie B

We had our work meeting here and everything was fantastic!! Highly recommend!!

  45. Miles Bergsma

Food is great. Service is horrible. If you enjoy waiting for 15 minutes for coffee when the restaurant isn’t busy, this is the place for you.

  46. Nick Fedorov

very cool atmosphere, food was good although portions kinda small for the prices being paid

  47. John Hershey

I think this place is in a great location and the food is alright, but was the worst service I’ve had in years. Hostess was gossiping with a server upon walking in and it took them a minute to notice customers walking in, who our server was was unclear due to having a new person coming over every time or not at all. They don’t ask if you’d like a box so if you have any food you’d like to take home you probably won’t. The lock on the bathroom is also problematic. You shouldn’t have to mess with the door and twist it multiple ways to try to lock it. The premise of Crimson Hearth is great and we loved how family oriented the ownership seemed, but unfortunately will not be returning based off service. A shame to see

  48. DavidN

Friendly service and overall a very tasty breakfast. Jacob provided top notch service.

  49. C. T.

Been wanting to try the ‘Crimson’ for awhile and my wife and I finally got a day off together and went and had lunch. It was noon on a Tuesday and everyone in the place was eating breakfast but we decided to get lunch. We had the Crimson Burger and Chicken sandwich with salads and both meals were excellent. The burger was literally bursting with flavor with the sweet bacon jam being the proverbial icing on the cake. The salads that accompanied the sandwiches were actually very fresh and nicely presented in a separate dish of their own.

$60+ dollars for lunch for two of us seemed excessive but in our inflation-stricken world in 2023 that’s probably just par for the course.

  50. Kris Pockell

Crimson Hearth is wonderful! The food is excellent, and the orange juice is easily the best I’ve ever had, anywhere, period. The staff is friendly and has always provided excellent service. Shout out to Kaston for always making us feel welcome!

  51. J Porter

Amazing beignets! Service was fast and friendly, and the food was very good. We’ll definitely be back!

  52. LaNora VanCleve

Amazing restaurant! The food was great, and the service was excellent!

  53. Frank Riddle II

After 3 visits, I will say that it is a solid 4.5 of 5. The atmosphere is great, and everyone on the staff seems to be encouraged to be themselves. I absolutely recommend their biscuits and gravy! The homemade gravy pairs well with their biscuits (which I believe are their own recipe as well). I had their jalapeño cream cheese omelet the second trip with a lemon crepe on the side, which had me wanting. The depth of flavor on both was lacking a bit, and the server acknowledged my discontent and promised a better experience next time. He was right! Had the chicken fried steak, and it was delicious! I met the owner on 2 of the occasions, and she is awesome. She works alongside the staff, and you can tell she leads by example.

  54. Shirleyb77

They offer a lemon, mixed berry or Nutella crepe as a side option for many of their breakfast selections, and they’re amazing! I love this place for weekend breakfast.

  55. Tianna Clemenson

First time trying this place, and man oh man was it worth it! I know it’s a little bit on the spendy side, but it was delicious. With everything being made from scratch you can tell! We ordered the beignets, 3 meat scramble, country fried steak, and also a rootbeer float! The chicken fried steak is probably one of the best in town! I’ll definitely be coming back! Our server was very friendly and had some great recommendations for us being first timers!

  56. Brooke kropff

Everyone really loved their meals. I had a berry crepe and it was delicious. My dad had a chicken sandwich and their homemade rootbeer and he enjoyed his meal as well. Food was hot fresh and we did not have a long wait. I would recommend this restaurant.

  57. Michael Spruill

Amazing service, and the quality of food was top tier. You could taste the freshness in every bite. I travel all over the PNW, and this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in awhile.

  58. Kristi Haupt

First time dining at Crimson, and it was fantastic! Ordered the Monte Cristo which was delicious, and the tomato soup that accompanied the sandwich was out of this world! Highly recommend.

  59. Ayla Maki

Wow, first time eating here and will definitely be back! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! My bacon and hash browns were cooked to perfection and were not greasy!

  60. Debbie Kovach

Cool place, good food, their house made jam at breakfast was to die for!

  61. Keith

Great food, family friendly, and clean. Coffee wasn’t refilled, but that’s an easy thing to miss at busy times. Had the jalapeño and cream cheese omelet. It was delicious. They have toys for the kids and teddy bear pancakes which they loved. Prices are a bit high for a breakfast place but food quality is also high. Will be back.

  62. Ann Baker

Beautiful place, fantastic food, nice people. I Never add syrup to fruit/whip cream french toast, that bourbon maple syrup took it to a whole other level. Yummy savory too. Normally has mushroom and onion but I’m on the road and sharing with the pups. We both approved.

  63. Cate Brooks

Great experience, wonderful food, atmosphere pleasant and pretty and kinda fancy without being ostentatious. Can’t wait to come back and try more items!

  64. Blaine Gann

You need to eat here! I started with a glass of their homemade root beer (which tasted phenomenal) and ordered an amazing country fried steak and eggs, with a side order of hot cakes. You can tell that the batter of the hotcakes, the gravy for the steak, and the jam for the toast was made from scratch with love. Trust me when I say the wait to get a table is well worth it!

  65. KC B

Astoundingly delicious food in a lovely, homey, refined atmosphere with friendly servers. I would come here daily if I lived in Spokane. Already thinking of excuses to come back!

  66. Linda N

it is so rare to find these two things in a brunch place: herbs used for flavor and actually cooked vegetables!!! I am so glad to have found this place.

  67. Laura Petersen-Martinez

It was my first time there and I enjoyed the experience. They do try to push appetizers.

  68. John Myrick

I’m shocked and appalled at how unbelievably beautiful that country fried steak and biscuit was

  69. Don and Mary Schneider

We tried the French pastries! Yum! The traditional Eggs Bennedict were fantastic. The hollandaise sauce was tart perfectly, the muffin was crisp on the edges, the eggs were done perfectly! The vanilla hearth coffee was delicious.
The experience was well worth the price.

  70. Ari Alvarez

Overall a very nice experience! The whites on my Sunnyside up egg were a little runny but everything besides that was really good

  71. Emily Picheta

This is the best breakfast place in the valley. You can tell they take pride in putting out high quality food. From homemade hollandaise instead of powdered to a perfectly rolled omelette. A gem.

  72. Randy Peterman

You could eat anywhere else in Spokane Valley for breakfast and lunch and do Okay. But you can eat here and be delighted and satisfied. Their custom rootbeer recipe is great, too!

  73. Taylor Wright

Came in today and it seems they are going through some updates to their menu and system. We ordered chicken fried steak meals in which the server asked if we wanted the different types of toast or a biscuit, she did not tell us the biscuit was an upcharge. We were also charged 6 dollars for a cup of gravy along with the biscuits. As well their hot chocolate price in their menu did not match the price we were charged. Overall food is great but the updates need more clarification as well as a matching menu.

  74. Heather Micek

We’ve been wanting to try Crimson Hearth for a while now, and we finally had the chance. Run, don’t walk, for hands down some of the most delightful food you will find in the valley. Not only is it fresh, and locally sourced, but it’s not just the usual you’ll find anywhere. Service was amazing. Coffee delicious. We will absolutely be returning for more delights soon!

  75. Kara Larson

This place is my new favorite! The food is outstanding and the service is equally as great! Our server was incredible, and had so many recommendations and information to offer. It’s very clear that the owners are phenomenal chefs, as most everything is made from scratch and you can tell! So fresh and flavorful! I highly recommend it!

  76. Haley Whitaker

Delicious breakfast! I’m a bit of an eggs Benedict snob and find there’s to be fantastic! The hollandaise is creamy and not too sharp. I’ve also really enjoyed their crepes and beignets. Definitely a must eat!

  77. Gh

Great customer service and delicious food! What more can I ask for! I tried their lunch menue and their sandwiches were yummy! Fun fact is that everything is made freshly in house which is a huge plus!

  78. Rebekah Ruth

Stopped in for lunch while on this side of town, and we were very pleased with our service and food. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and fries, but the blt definitely did not need butter on the toast. I would have opted out if it was listed in the description because it made the sandwich greasy but otherwise really good, fresh tasting food and a cozy atmosphere. **We did observe a server go from table service/closing checks to sprinkling garnish without washing or gloving hands. Didn’t say anything because it wasn’t our food but maybe put garnish in a shaker to avoid contamination.

  79. steve davenport

My daughter and I both had omelets and they were quite good đź‘Ť Very friendly staff!

  80. gregory siegel

Tasty burger, will be back for breakfast

  81. Vonda Salzman

New favorite place! The Hearth coffee is wonderful! Country eggs Benedict was the best ever that I have had. Homemade…says it all!!!

  82. Paige

I didn’t want to dine in anywhere this morning but stumbled upon this lovely place. I read through their online menu and discovered the owner’s story about his grandparents and the joy they shared in a wonderful cup of coffee. I was immediately flooded with memories of my own grandparents with an all too similar story and was brought to tears as I sat in my car, missing my family. I pulled myself together and drove straight over to enjoy a comforting cup of coffee to which I added an abnormal amount of cream and sugar 🙂 Thank you for sharing your story and a big thank you to the kitchen for the beautifully prepared lemon crepe. I look forward to visiting again soon!

  83. Mike Foreman

Good atmosphere, food was only ok. Which for the price was a real let down. Good service.

  84. Chris Pinkleton

My first time at Crimson Hearth. My overall experience was fantastic! Best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Beignets were SO yummy, melt in your mouth happiness. It has a great “vibe.” Our server was enjoyable, and knowledgeable about the food. I can’t wait to go again, and bring friends.

  85. Jeremy G

Food was good, not excellent, waitress forgot our app order and mimosa flavors, also, to charge $2.00 to pay with a card…well not ok. One time visit.

  86. Madux Sanders

This place was very nice and clean and the waiters were extremely good. I had the Crimson burger and it was to die for the paddie was perfect and the buns were amazing would definitely go here.

  87. Taylor White

I really do not like leaving bad reviews but to spend $81 on breakfast, $96 with tip for two people and leave as disappointed as we were is just a huge let down. The mimosa flight was flat, to which the server said the brand that they buy is just not as bubbly as other brands and didn’t offer a solution. The food was good but not the best I’ve had for the price.

  88. Barbara K

Delectable food beautifully presented reasonably priced. Helpful and cheery staff. Quirky and fun setting. I highly recommend this restaurant. I split a meal of Danish pancakes. Sinfully delicious!

  89. Rudy Gutierrez

Friendly service and great food, one of the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had in Spokane
Worth the drive to the valley!

  90. Eliza Martin

It was my first time here. The food was amazing. We ate there for breakfast. I plan to go back to try their lunch menu. The service was flawless. A little pricey on certain items, but worth it.

  91. David Lummus

JP was a great server and made for a great experience. The Danish Hot Cakes are absolutely worth a try.

  92. Terri Putney

Thought the place was great, just a little amazed at what they charged for their lemon & sugar crepe! $9.00 for 1 crepe! 1/2 slice of lemon and sugar…about $1.50 worth of ingredients at the most. Come on guys!

  93. Sheri Williams

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to say my husband and I loved this restaurant! We went there for breakfast. The food was delicious! The croissant beignets are incredible! The freshly squeezed orange juice was so good it makes me want to go buy a juicer-but could I find oranges that good? We had the creme brulee french toast and the garden omlette. Everything looked and tasted great. I loved that the syrup was hot. The staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming and attentive. The restaurant itself was charming and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will go back. Would love to try more of their menu!

  94. Sheila Mae Martin

We took my MIL here for breakfast last weekend based on fb recommendations and this place didn’t dissappoint. First, the atmosphere was really nice and wait and kitchen staff were warm and friendly. And because we were celebrating my MIL’s birthday, they offered us beignets on the house, a kind of puff pastry which was perfect for starters. They also have a kid friendly menu and portions were decent. My MIL and I both had the farmhouse breakfast and we both had crepes, she got the mixed berry while I had the lemon, both equally good. Everyone enjoyed their food and overall we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

  95. Thomas Duyck

Very good food. The beignets were amazing. The chicken fried steak was the perfect portion and very tender. My kids and wife loved the food as well. I felt that the prices were reasonable. $70 for fresh squeezed oj, 2 mimosas, an appetizer, and 2 entrées

  96. Brittini Brischle

My daughter and I stopped by and absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The staff was kind, a little chaotic but they managed and the food was great.
We had a slow start with the staff, not really sure what was going on that took so long to get tended to but it was worth the wait.
We started with the the perfect start which has a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee (with real cream 🤤🤤) and beignets….the beignets were served to a different table though so I had to say something about it when they still hadn’t arrived by the time the other food did. They made a fresh batch for us and they arrived as desserts so I wasn’t complaining and they are so good and crispy. Will order again.
We also got an omelet with their delightful cheese blend and some sausage. It was packed full of meat and was so good. It also came with a crepe and we got the lemon one…best decision ever.
It was light and so tasty! Highly recommend!!

Despite the long wait (after being seated), slightly spendier options and smaller portions than other breakfast joints the food itself was phenomenal and a little different than our normal and we will absolutely be going back.

  97. Buffy G

A bit crowded upstairs. Food was good, not fabulous. Service was good.

  98. Scott Brown

Very good Breakfast. The meat scramble was delicious and the Berry creme brulee was awesome. We will definitely be back.

  99. Leanne Harvey

Absolutely terrible food and service. We were seated in a booth right by the door, so it was freezing cold. I had the Country Benedict, the biscuit and sausage were burnt and the hashbrowns were overcooked and cold, so tough you couldn’t cut through them. I asked for more ketchup (when you ask for ketchup they bring you about a tablespoon in a container), that was the only hope to soften those hashbrowns up enough so you could chew them. Never got more ketchup. The waitress never came back to check on us once we got our food. Never got offered drink refills. Had to flag down the hostess to get the check. Paid $53 for breakfast for myself, my daughter, and my grandson. When I complained to the waitress about the poor service and lack of attention she just said “oh sorry, I had to take other tables”. But she gave me two $5 off cards for “my next visit”. Left them on the table. My first visit was my last.

  100. Eureka C

Very disappointed with this place, I ordered the three meat omelet, which the waitress must have wrote it down incorrectly, I let her know it was not right and she had stated that it is not what I had ordered, which when I originally ordered it we discussed the meats it would be coming with, the hashbrowns were the texture of chewing cardboard I feel and the English muffin was soggy. The homemade jam did not have much flavor. I asked to have my omelet replaced with what I ordered and they offered a 5.00 off discount, so they were not replacing the omelet. I would not recommend this place because of the poor food quality and service.

  101. Tammy C (tammycu)

Stellar food and amazing service, the kindness of staff was amazing, the owner and his son are so focused on service. The peach cobbler crepe and the jalapeno cream cheese Benedict were so flavorful and fresh OJ set the tone..plus they make their own rootbeer.

  102. Alexandria Poisel

Had a great time here. Took myself on a date and enjoyed a chill atmosphere. I had the starter (OJ, coffee, and beingets) then I got the jalapeño cream cheese eggs Benedict.

  103. Louis

High end, delicious food, friendly staff.

I had a Reuben with a side Caesar salad and a bowl of tomato soup.

Highly recommend and I will definitely go again

  104. Megan Guzzo

We received free beignets as first time customers. Coffee was fresh brewed, Reubens were delicious! Soup and salad tasted excellent and freshly made (even the dressing!) Owners were friendly and told us about the restaurant history. We will be back and definitely recommend this restaurant!
