Service was good and the food was amazing. Did have to wait for a seat but was well worth the wait
The food is delicious! Great atmosphere and customer service!
Best breakfast ever. Hot chocolate to die for!!! Great service to.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant with staff so friendly and the food, well the food speaks for itself!! Yummmm Highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch!
This place is great! One of my new favorites.
Great, quick service, excellent food, & very reasonable prices. Plus the atmosphere & decor was lovely. We’ll be back soon!
Delicious food, amazing coffee, great service, cool atmosphere and we really appreciated the attention and forethought of how they prepare for kids. We were presented with a cool character lunch box full of kid friendly toys for entertainment!! We will absolutely come again.
Great food and service! Plus kids meals are 4 dollars! Will definitely come back!
Great environment for our family! We have small children and the thoughtfulness of Crimson Hearth was honestly a little unbelievable at first. They gave each kiddo a pale full of interesting and engaging toys; our kids were entertained as we devoured a free “first time cinnamon roll” (seriously!? Free?! Who does that?? 🙂 ). Their food was tasty, and only bested by their service. They sat us quickly, served us quickly, and quickly became one of our top spots in Spokane. Our only regret was that it’s taken us so long to eat there. Shout out to the hostess and Katie our waitress. Y’all are great!
Had breakfast this morning. 1st time here. This was great! I will be back for more on the menu!
This is a great breakfast spot! I’ve been here multiple times, but this weekend we Got a table for 6 and it was a great place to catch up with family and EAT delicious food! I ordered the Bacon Avocado omelet with hot cakes. Every bite was so good! The portions were big so I had LEFTOVERS for the next morning.
In the past the Beignets, lemon crepe, and the Hearth coffee were delicious options!
The wait time has been long but that’s everywhere you go these days… The staff here have been so kind and helpful despite any low staffing! We appreciate them!!!
The latte and food was delicious and the waiter was really nice. We will absolutely be going back there to try lunch and dinner!
My other half loves this place but honestly i feel that they lack consistency and there are many other breakfast spots around that I’d rather go to. Still giving it a 4 because he thinks it’s a 5 and I lean towards a 3
Not good. Had biscuits and gravy. So much salt I swear I was licking a salt block. Trying to get too fancy when they haven’t figured out the basics. Wife tried their hollandaise as that is her favorite. Sauce was almost grey. Tasted like it came from a packet.
Sheffield SmurfAustin provided great service and the food was great!! Our new favorite place when in Spokane!!
Best homemade tomato soup
Always delicious!! And prices are great…
They have upped their coffee game too!!!
First time and definitely going back. The best strawberry cream cheese cinnamon roll ever!!!
Excellent breakfast, excellent service. Local family run business. Whats not to love!!
Love their breakfast and cinnamon buns
Extraordinary!!!! Today was my first time there, I had the Lavender honey chicken sandwich and it was truly nothing short of a party in my mouth! Service was top notch! We were having a working business lunch and monopolized our table for quite sometime and they continued to check on us and were incredibly hospitable! The restaurant was very clean and comfortable! I honestly could go on and on, but to sum it up. This is my new favorite go to for sure!!
The breakfast is amazing, and the staff is super friendly
The cinnamon rolls are a must try! Even if it is dessert to go. Very good food, too.
DELICIOUS!!! all of their food is homemade and woooww 10/10!! Definitely recommend and will come back 😍 and LOVE their FRESH SQUEEZED OJ!!
I cant believe I never been here! Very vibey place, took us less than 5 mins to get seated. The food was 10/10 Its all fresh made! Even the jam 😍 I got a chicken fried steak 10/10. I took 1 star for the server taking wayyyy to long to cash us out, we waited for a good 10 mins until I had to come up my self and pay.
We had a women’s breakfast with 17 ladies and it was awesome. Christian was our server and he did a great job. Great food too. 😋
Great place to try for brunch during our weekend in Spokane Valley. All dishes came with a little bit of a signature sweetness. The strawberry mango crepe was hands down my favorite. The omelette was great, as well. The pancakes have actual recognizable berries, and our family said the burgers were delicious.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing we have been there 3 times and every time they have gone above and beyond to take care of us and get to know us. They have an extensive delicious menu, friendly staff and decent prices. As an example, I love to drink buttermilk I have been to dozens of restaurants and it’s almost impossible to get some at other places. They were happy to get some for me here. 😋 Their huckleberry mimosas are absolutely delicious!!
To go order. Food was excellent (chicken fried steak/scrambled eggs), just always frustrating when an item ordered (one of two in this instance) doesn’t make the to-go bag (bowl of fresh fruit). Thought the gravy on the side was the fruit…alas.
Eggs Benedict were pretty good, but I was impressed by the Reuben. The place has a really good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend
I absolutely love this place.
The options for breakfast are just perfect. The coffee is good, and the mimosas are good.
Great portions, definitely try a cinnamon roll or the root beer.
Taejah was an amazing server! Very personable and kind! The food was absolutely amazing!!!
This has become my favorite breakfast or Lunch place to eat out. Their food is always great. The service is attentive. The facility is clean. And they provide fun manipulatives for the kids beyond coloring.
Try the fresh squeezed orange juice! It is Amazing.
What an amazing atmosphere! And the food is top notch! I will be coming back regularly! My interaction with Beth was so delightful! Whatever you’re paying her, double it!! 10/10!! 5 stars all day!
Real quick and the German sausage is great in the omelet I had. Clean and friendly.
We went on a very busy day and the waits were long for a table and food. The food was delicious though and completely worth the wait. The wait staff was friendly but they were slammed and that affected the service. I look forward to going back on a less busy day.
Great experience! Food was excellent and large portions. Wait staff were friendly and attentive.
Very good breakfast or brunch spot in the valley, cinnamon rolls were fantastic! Chicken fried steak was good and biscuits and gravy were fantastic as well. Overall a great spot for a breakfast with very good service.
Hit the Crimson Hearth for brunch on a recent trip to Spokane. We were happy with the experience. We arrived about 12:30 on a Saturday. The food we got was pretty good, but it seemed like they were out of a bunch of things. We settled on a standard egg, meat and potato breakfast and an order of the Eggs Benedict. The Benedict was pretty good, but they informed us they were out of Canadian bacon after we already ordered, but by that point, we didn’t care too much. It had enough hollandaise and thankfully wasn’t dry.
Good service despite being out of many menu items. Really wanted a refill on our coffee too, but the servers seemed to being whipped pretty hard to begin shutting everything down.
We would return, but probably try to make it earlier in the day.
Great brunch. The prickly pear mimosa was delightful as was the rest of the breakfast!
Went here for Mother’s day, our first time. We waited 45 mins to be seated, but it was mothers day, the reviews were good and we were intrigued as the waiting time for those coming in after us kept growing and people weren’t discouraged by that, we knew it had to be good! And let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the wait! I tried my first lemon crepe and my mouth is watering just thinking about it! The staff was very busy but kept it together and it flowed nicely. Highly recommend and we will be going back, the menu had do many choices
Great place, they had old lunch boxes for the kids full of toys, kids meals are only about 4 dollars, each meal was very well done, the crepes and the chicken fried steak which had a sumptuous crunch to it. They have homemade root beer I would love to try soon and homemade cinnamon rolls ☺️
We stopped here while we were in the area… best breakfast I have ever had! Highly recommend.
The food was absolutely amazing, the prices were more reasonable than most breakfast restaurants and the service was top notch. Highly recommend having breakfast here.
Absolutely fabulous breakfast and service! We just happened to stumble upon this place and it was great, so glad to have found it!
Good food. Breakfast is available during lunch time hours. The burger was good, fries were excellent. Wife’s entree was unique (would have taste betterd with gyro meat in place of sausage since it is Mediterranean). The lemon crepe with vanilla whipped cream was delicious.
We’ve come here 2-3 times now and it has easily become our go to breakfast place.
We love the open and bright atmosphere, the service is always friendly and attentive.
My favorite part is the lemon crepe and crispy bacon on the side. The crepe is cooked perfectly and the whipped cream is to die for. I always tell myself I’m going to try something different.. but the crepe is just way to good! Do yourself a favor and also get a cinnamon roll to go.
This is a must try place and pretty sure it will become your go to breakfast place also!
Met the owner while having breakfast at the bar. Personable and refreshing experience. Awesome food! Try it!
The food was amazing, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I had the country sausage which was like a mix between biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. The kids got the French toast and the crepes. My wife had the avocado omelette which was also delicious. This is our new favorite brunch spot in the valley.
Fantastic breakfast spot! Was visiting family in the area and this was the first place we ate out at which got the trip to a great start because it was delicious. Not only is the food delicious, but the service and atmosphere is great. It is so cute in there, European inspired and they play oldies music. I ordered their veggie breakfast scramble which was fresh and a ton of food. I took home leftovers and ate them the next morning. The raspberry jam they include was amazing, as well as their homemade salsa. I’m not normally even a jam and toast kind of person but I couldn’t get enough of their jam. It was the perfect balance between tart and sweet. My family ordered the biscuits and gravy eggs benedict and a standard breakfast of eggs/meat/toast. We all loved our meals. I regularly visit the Spokane area so will definitely come back next year 🙂
My first time there, brought by family who go there regularly. Glad they did!
Good food that has their own unique spin on it. Definitely not the standard fare you get most places. Will come back next time I’m visiting.
Very tasty. We had the lemon crepe and a meat omelet with bacon. The lemon crepe was delicious. The meat omelet was nicely done, not too salty, just enough seasoning. Hash browns were crispy. The side of sausage links came with 4 instead of your typical 2 for 5.00. What really gives this place the 5 star is that the good food is complimented by good staff – attentive, engaged, and helpful.
Austin was our waiter. He was super nice. He asked us if we had been there before or if it was our first time. It was our first time. He took time to explain things on the menu and checked on us regularly. We didn’t realize they closed at 3:30pm and they never got mad at us for being there late. They were happy to have us and Austin went above and beyond to help make sure my niece was not hungry while waiting for our food to be made. It was a very wonderful experience and the food was delicious. They serve their breakfast menu all day long. They did have a machine that was down and had run out of lemon I think and Austin told us up front before we even ordered so we wouldn’t be frustrated while trying to order and then him-hawing about it as we ordered. It was amazing. Definitely want to go back sometime.
Super friendly service and a very clean establishment.
Delicious food. The crepe was thin and tasty. Beautiful thick bacon.
Very nice version of Old European. Trendy, dark decor. Struggling with staffing and popularity – the wait for seating was long, the wait for ordering was long, the wait for food after ordering was long for 2 huts at 11:30 on a Thursday. Nice courteous staff, good food at contemporary prices.
Dope customer service, good music, amazing eggs benedicts/ French toast
What a cute place with great brunch options. Will definitely go again!! The waitress was wonderful too! Oh and the small batch local rootbeer was delicious.
I was not impressed at all with the service we received this past Saturday with Heather. We were seated at a very sticky table. The glasses that were brought out were all dirty and I know when you wash them through the dishwasher it may miss some of them and that is why you are suppose to check the dishes when they come out and when you bring them to the table. One of the canters that had our pear fizzy mimosas brought to us in had a huge ring of orange juice crusted around the inside. It took us 30 minutes to order our drinks and another 15 minutes to get them. Then another 20 minutes after that to actually order our food (I am not exaggerating at all about this time frame) then when we finally got our food she asked if there was anything else and we asked for some salsa 20 minutes went by and we had to flag her down to get it because our food was now cold or mostly eaten by the others in our group. I get things can be busy, which it was that day but honestly not having an attentive waitress can ruin a whole experience. Otherwise the food was great it tasted wonderful and the portions were perfect. We loved the story behind the restaurant as well and thought the way it was set up and decorated was very cute.
Went here for my anniversary and the food is INCREDIBLE. Good portions and fast service and lots of flavor in each bite. I tried the country fried steak and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Perfect texture and no dryness whatsoever! Also the coffee posted in the picture was amazing!! Lots of cinnamon on top and was so delicious it was like having dessert for breakfast 🤣. Definitely coming back! Going to try the mango French toast next
The setting is nice, our server was attentive and our meal was excellent. You can tell the ingredients are made from scratch. We thought the country fried steak was dead on. The best I’ve eaten.
I highly recommend Crimson Hearth. I’ve been cooking for 26 years and have eaten at a myriad of different places from San Francisco, CA to Helena, MT and in between. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Spokane area, and quite possibly anywhere. My family never leaves disappointed.
We were looking for a breakfast place for 3 generations to all enjoy and boy did we!
My parents, in their 80’s, enjoyed the senior breakfast with pancakes. They were so happy that they were good. Everyone knows a good pancake is great but a mediocre one is awful.
My son devoured the chicken. Fried steak and said the gravy was fantastic.
My husband had a veggie scramble… Or was it the omlette? It wasn’t around long enough for me to see.
I had the senior breakfast too, with the lemon crepe. This was the only bump in our trip. The lemon crepe never made it to the table. It would be unfair of me to complain too much as I could barely finish what I had and we were past Ritzville when I realized 😂
We really appreciated the warm welcome from the kitchen as we entered and left.
Oh. One more thing… Have the house coffee with the whipped cream. It is divine.
Everyone’s good (6 people) had really good food. Only bummer was they were out of Cinnamon Rolls.
Highly recommended! Don’t wait, go now… that good! My wife has wanted to stop in for a while and we got the chance today.
I had the Eggs Benedict, Country Sausage version with a side of bacon. The sausage patty was seasoned without being overwhelming and the country gravy was thick and tasty, dripping off some excellently flaky biscuits. The eggs came with crispy hash browns that had a warm and meaty interior. I tried some Crimson Sauce (locally made hot sauce mixed with sour cream) – Mmmmm… and the thick bacon slices were cooked to perfection.
Can’t wait to go back and try more!!!
Awesome food. Super fast delivery of good food and friendly staff. Compliments to Amber my waitress. She was fantastic and fast.
Lemon crepes were to die for! Hearth coffee was delicious. Service was OUTSTANDING!!!!
Breakfast was great. I came back today for lunch and best fries I’ve had and my Ruben sandwich was great
The Basil tomato soup was excellent. Flat fries were ok but I prefer steak fries. Service was well done. Very enjoyable.ordet the grilled cheese for a great taste.
East Farm Oldies love this place. Great food great conversations. Long time friends.
The food here is super good. The service is always spectacular but Moriah goes above and beyond. Super friendly and accommodating. She handled special requests really well and you can tell she enjoys what she does. This place is a must!
First time here and it was delicious! It was busy when we showed up (which I feel is a very good sign) but the line moves fast. Amazing fresh cinnamon rolls and everything else was super good as well! We will be back!
We had a great breakfast today! Our server Austin was very attentive and kept our cups full. The food was great with very good flavors. Made from scratch cinnamon rolls are awesome! The vegetable omelet was very flavorful. Overall a great place to try!
This restaurant is second to none! Simple ambiance, service above and beyond, staff that is always attentive, and the food…….perfect! Hearty, delicious, and so much thought and love behind all of it.
One of the best breakfasts I have ever had!! This gem was uncovered and if you like what you see on the menu, you will love the food. Great service. Thank you Moriah for taking care of us. We will be back.
I love the fall decor. Staff was super friendly. Even the kitchen staff said hello! Excellent service, really good food and fun menu choices. I also like the personal touches on the menu. The food was delicious
Amended: the owner calling me to take care of these issues is a step in the right direction and I am amending this to a 4 star review. I think it is awesome that they are so responsive to a review
Every breakfast, they either get the food out to slowly and it is cold, or they do not have any hot sauce, or worse yet they have “Tabasco” only. We were told the owner was not going to put out the money for any hot sauce since they make their own and can not get the ingredients right now. This is an ongoing issue and that is not the only item we hear it about. Service is less than stellar and I would say, without edging them out completely, this would be one of the last recommendations for dining in the valley, so only go here when every place else is full.
Always good customer service. I love having our company business meetings here. We get a room to ourselves upstairs. The food is always pretty good.
Great spot for the valley! Great fresh products and most stuff made from scratch. The hollandaise is amazing. Portion sizes are good. Would definitely recommend checking put if you haven’t already.
This place used to be absolutely amazing. We’d drive an hour just for their house made cream filled crepes. Since they’ve taken the cream out of the crepes, we haven’t been back. They just aren’t the same. As a non-pork eater, that also limits what we can actually eat. We had dined here at least twice a week before.
I have loved this place. Today I felt shorted. I ordered takeaway and should have checked before leaving. I was charged a $1 for a biscuit that I didn’t receive instead of the sourdough. I asked before I ordered if they do a lettuce wrap hamburger. It was just two romaine pieces. Very sad compared to Red Robin’s version.
Love the atmosphere. In getting out food it was cooked well, but wasn’t hot when we received it. Our server was also nearly non-existent unless taking our order or waiting for our card for payment. We’ve had good food here before, but this visit was really lackluster.
First time in today. And WOW! We were blown away by not only the food, but customer service. Melanie was our waitress and she was top notch! Everyone in our party said customer service was the best we have received in a long time….. We felt spoiled! We loved hearing about the family owned and family recipes! Thank you so so much for making us feel welcome today! We will for sure be back!
Always have great food. Amazing food. Home made food.
Remarkable food, energetic/thoughtful staff, killer root beer and cinnamon rolls 🍺
I can recommend this place highly enough.
These guys make their own rootbeer, actually care about their customers and the food they’re serving.
I feel like a VIP every time I walk into this place, they are happy I’m there and make sure you have everything you need during your visit. Make sure you get a scratch made cinnamon roll, they are literally the best in town by a long shot, with seasonal toppings!
These peeps got it figured out, love it.
This restaurant was a delight to stumble on and we will return. Kaston the owner came to our table to visit and share with us the history of the name, family and legacy of the establishment. The food was very good and the service exceptional. Take time to read the menu and discover new, family inspired delights. We were not disappointed in the least.
I’m not usually a breakfast guy, but I’m really glad I decided to eat at Crimson Hearth. I ordered the 3-meat Scramble, OJ and Prickly Pear Mimosa, and the Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon roll.
The 3 meat scramble is amazing. The scramble was nice and hot like it just came off the griddle and paired with the jalapeno cream cheese creates a great combination. The ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. The sourdough bread that comes with the scramble was also toasted to perfections.
The mimosas were great. The bartender definitely doesn’t skimp out on the champagne and the freshly squeezed OJ is perfect.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat the cinnamon roll fresh, but even cold it tasted great slathered in the pumpkin spice butter.
Great place for breakfast, although it does fill up extremely quickly. I went around 8:30 am on a Saturday morning and by the time I was finished eating, the lobby/waiting area was already packed. Eating at the bar with 1 or 2 people was much faster. As such parking also can get pretty packed so get here early or be prepared to wait.
The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was good. If you miss the right turn you can come in through the back of the parking lot at the intersection afterwards.
I ordered a basic burger, and it was ok. The bacon was thick and crunchy, which is great for a burger. The sauce was good too, but I think I’d have preferred a slightly thicker patty. I loved the thin cut steak fries, but will ask for them to be salted next time.
My wife got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were huge; the gravy was delicious and thick. If anything, a half order with eggs would be great for anybody’s breakfast.
We love to eat at your place and the help is the best always make you feel like family.we love reggie.he is so nice.
Absolutely incredible food and outstanding service. I can’t recommend enough!
Delicious top of the line food at decent prices. Booths can be a little tight for a pregnant wife, but they didn’t hesitate to accommodate her with a chair.
Amazing atmosphere, decor, immaculate vibes. Was pleasantly greeted. They were out of 40% of their drinks, bummer. Also Unfortunately someone gave the 18 top table to a single server (despite us making a reservation with a head count) and she missed me when taking orders. Because it was also a meeting, she had to navigate the social dance of taking turns talking, and i wasnt sure when she was done taking orders. She never noticed that she skipped me, so I watched the rest of the group get their food, which smelled and looked amazing, and then bills. She didn’t forget to bring me the $5.00 bill for my soda though. I’m writing this from the line at Panda Express, because I’m starving.
I come here often. I love the people and the owner. His son is doing a wonderful job helping run the establishment. I always enjoy my time there but things seem to be even better than before. The most basic grilled cheese and tomato soup is elevated and appreciated. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these guys.
