Manly portion without losing the chef touch. Very delicious.

  6. Candice Caplinger

Food was great service was even better! I tried the Vegetarian Hash and my husband had Red Neck Benedict both were great! Neither of us could finish our food. Definitely will be back! Great atmosphere and everyone was extremely attentive even though it was a full house!

  7. Christy Schneider

BEST FOOD I’VE EATEN IN MY LIFE !!!!!
THE BURGERS ARE BEST IN THE WORLD ……

  8. Eric Veal

Pork belly hash was the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. And the breakfast tacos were also great.

  9. Joe Thomas

    Great food friendly service

  10. Ryan McNamee

A good spot for great diner food when in town.

  11. Noemi Lopez

Everything about this restaurant is amazing, the staff is amazing they’re friendly they’re helpful, I was just amazed. And the food is just cherry on top, I asked our waiter what he recommended and he told me the fried rice, with pork and it did not disappoint. Everything on the menu looks delicious and fresh, you must go to this restaurant if you’re visiting Anacortes!

  12. Raea “Rev.” S.

Delicious & creative menu, attentive staff, diner-style atmosphere. No booths.

  13. Andrea H

The tacos were brilliant. Got the brisket one and it was great. Husband got the breakfast burger which was also great with a hot mustard.

  14. Jim Cavagnaro

Ohhhh fun. Great food, great staff. Loved it. Just had breakfast with our daughter who just moved here. These guys know how to cook. If you follow my reviews then you know that I don’t say “yay” about crummy places to avoid. This place is worth it. Yay

  15. Chuck Pearsall

Great place to have breakfast before we headed to the ferry for orcas Island.

  16. Earnest

Food was good but very pricey. Almost 50 bucks for 3 burgers and 3 cokes

  17. Gregg M

You can never go wrong here. You can taste the love and care in the food. Do yourself a favor, and eat here.

  18. Michelle Bailey

You have to scan the QR code on the window of the restaurant to reserve your seating (something not advertised until you go inside waiting for someone to seat you) Once our table was available, the server took our drink order but never returned. Finally, a gentleman believed to be a manager, came over where we were seated by the window, to get the sign showing they were closed. At that time, we told him no one took our order. He was apologetic and took our order. They had run out of food and needed to close 2 hours earlier than the normal time. The food was okay but not the temperature. My potatoes were a little burnt and the French toast and bacon were cold. My coffee was good. My husband had the Mimosa in a full size glass that he was pleased with. He also had a side of bacon that was cold, and biscuit and gravy. We may visit again when in the area but probably won’t make a special trip.

  19. Charles Gillen

    Very good breakfast

  20. Pamela Allen

Fabulous restaurant. Owners are local and caring. Menu and decor are eclectic and fun with fresh bar-b-que with farm to table additions. Only wish they would expand and add more tables and reopen bar seating. Usually a wait during peak dining times.

  21. Channy FE

Excellent breakfast diner vibe, food and service was amazing

  22. Jeannie Kubricht

I have to believe we came at an “off time” because our experience was a bit chaotic. The food was good, not great. There was an issue in the kitchen that needed our servers attention so someone else pitched in to help. I really wanted to like this place.

  23. Jennifer

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. We sat at the counter and watched how the staff worked together to take care of customers quickly. I noticed a few older customers that must be regular. They took the time to visit and sincerely listen to them.

  24. Hyewon Cho

The brisket in the Reuben sandwich is really good. The portion is large, so if two people eat one, we will be full.

  25. Jeremiah Harju

Always incredible breakfasts @ Dad’s! The employees and owners are always very friendly.

  26. Adrianna P

Very friendly staff and you can basically get anything you want a la crate

  27. ken boyle

This place is always packed and for a good reason. Our breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and the opttions were plenty.

  28. Vegas HotFlash

Delicious!! Excellent service and the food was above par!
Can’t wait to go back and try out something new on the menu.

  29. Tim Shipe

I drove all the way from Kent to eat at Dad’s Diner on Father’s Day…only to discover that they were closed. Bummer. There was a sign in the window that they were spending time with their families…which I get and appreciate. I wasn’t the only one who had that idea…others came up and read the sign as well. Will have to try again something. It looks like a great place.

  30. Kassi Honcoop

Oh yes this place is the jam sauce. I got the Reuben with brisket and house salad and it rocked my 36 weeks pregnant world. Family run I believe and completely delicious. I will be back!

  31. tikiwake

Disappointed with breakfast. Dad’s breakfast platter, brisket burnt and fried potato’s came out dried and rock hard. Meal for two, breakfast tacos, pancake, and 1/2 dad’s platter, $40. Sad meal experience. Service was good but we won’t be back.

  32. arthur stephenson

Great breakfast. So good we went to the smoke trailer for brisket taco for dinner after return from San Juan !!

  33. Kyle Erwin

Dad’s diner is a must visit if you in Anacortes. It’s also worth the trip if you’re within 50 miles.

  34. Julieann Fare

    Decent food, large portions,

  35. Kevin Gantz

    Best breakfast in town!

  36. Ana

Food portion is good. We had the dads burger, kids quesadilla and Carolina tacos. Burger was juicy but the fries that came with it were horrible, burnt and tasteless. They really need to improve on their fries. Tacos pulled pork was very yum but a bit dry.

  37. Blake Boykin

Amazing service. Multiple servers came by to ask us about our food and give context for the dishes. They also utilize technology well to minimize the wait.

I had the Carne Asada Tacos on special.

The meal had sweet, savory, acid, spice, crunchy, fluffy… genuinely a beautiful, well thought out meal. Judging by the dishes at other tables, you can’t go wrong here.

  38. K B

Our favourite breakfast spot!! Everything you order here is guaranteed to be good. The pan-crepe burrito is my personal favourite, as well as the best hashbrowns anywhere – get them extra crispy and soak them in maple syrup and they’re even better.

  39. Eric Sergienko

Great Sunday breakfast/brunch at the bar. Fortunate timing, we were able to be sat quickly. Pleasant service. Had the Redneck Benedict and French toast. Both were tasty but the Benedict was unique and recommended.

  40. Bret Omdal

Great food, great atmosphere, nice attentive servers. I had the redneck Benedict and it was awesome. One of my favorite places.

  41. Rachel Savage

The Diner and BBQ truck are consistently delicious. Watch for occasional dinners. They treat their customers and staff like family.

  42. Renee Gittins

I was expecting good diner food, but was blown away by the creativity of the dishes. Certainly, there are a lot of diner classics, but most are elevated to new heights with interesting ingredients and perfect execution.

The staff were wonderful and attentive as well, and even kept their patience and composure with a very rude patron ahead of us.

Absolutely will come back again, it’s definitely worth the trip!

  43. Zak Whaley

This place isn’t your average dinner. It has such inventive dishes like the Korean Toast, vrepe burrito, brisket reuben, and Carolina pulled pork tacos. Great nosh, great vibes, and great staff. Worth a pit stop!

  44. Bill Connelly

Food was good and good portions. The fries are a bit bland but some salt fixed that. Staff was super nice and friendly. Nice atmosphere very laid back and casual.

  45. Tod Esp

Very Very slow service! It took over an hour after we ordered to receive our breakfast.

  46. Paul Mat

Dad’s Diner is an excellent breakfast place in the middle of Anacortes. Food is wholesome and tasty, atmosphere friendly and inviting. Really good for a hearty breakfast before exploring Anacortes and the Islands.

  47. Myrya Grace

Disappointing. Dry sausage, dry bacon, burnt pancakes, underseasoned gravy. The coffee was not even very good. None of the 3 of us liked the food much. Maybe we have high standards having 2 chefs in our party. Restaurant was loud and uncomfortable. Only rating 2 stars because the biscuits were good and so was the raspberry jam.

  48. Anna Benincasa

Great breakfast. The chiliquiles is fantastic and my meat eating friends say the gravy and biscuits are out of this world!

  49. Craig Murdoch, CRMP

My wife and I were visiting my mother who lives here. We all 3 loved the food and would highly recommend it! The service is great also.

  50. YOGOMAN Music (Yogoman Burning Band)

Excellent variety of dishes, high quality ingredients, good coffee, the pancrepe was perfect. Avacado Toast and Biscuits & Gravy were delicious. Clean plates!

  51. BRIAN LINSON

5 stars all the way around! First off, it’s busy! So expect a wait, but WELL WORTH IT! Once inside, the atmosphere is awesome. The service is awesome and fast! This was our first time here and we’re SO glad we chose to wait instead of going elsewhere. Classic diner food times ten! I can’t express how much we loved this place. We will be back time and time again. One of the true treasures to be found on a foodie adventure.

  52. Milla Barnes

Best place for Breakfast jn Anacortes.

  53. Kevin Havelda

Incredible food. Really cool diner. Must see while here. Went twice in 4 days.

  54. Mark Johnston

Delicious food, great service, unique atmosphere… I don’t get to Anacortes often, but when I do, I make it a point to try to time it so I can go to Dad’s. They’ve got some of the best brisket and ribs of anywhere I’ve been!

  55. Kellin Bershinsky

Great breakfast spot! Brought in our infant son via stroller and the experience was wonderful. The pictures along the walls are honoring patrons dads and the owner has great stories to go along with them! Good food, good memory, and left with a warm feeling thinking about my own dad. Highly recommended!

  56. chris craig

We drive over and hour to come for the biscuits and gravy. Homemade inhouse smoked meats. Home made biscuits. Have eaten around the menu many times and keep coming back. Fletcher and staff have always treated us right. Food has always been top notch for us.

  57. ubergeek52289

Very generous with their mimosas, food was good diner quality overall a good experience.

  58. Sourabh S Shenoy

Excellent food. Chilaquiles was amazing! Extremely flavorful and super crispy! Would definitely visit again. Wait times are long on weekends so make sure to account for that

  59. Kat Featherston

Servers were very nice but service was exceptionally slow, waited an hour + for our order. Extremely over priced $$$$ 79.00 for 4 sandwiches and 1 iced tea that never got refilled. Don’t recommend.

  60. David Peterson

Food was very good, organized, cool place, lots to look at.

  61. Julius

Great atmosphere, delicious food (redneck benedict!), and awesome staff. Food came out fast and the coffee was even good.

  62. Dianne Smith

Our group of 3 hit this wonderful diner while attending the Oyster Run. Such a mass of motorcycles and people! Dad’s was up to the challenge though! A little bit of a wait for our table and a wait for our food, but we didn’t mind as the staff was friendly and did what was humanly possible to serve everyone that was willing to wait. The guys chose the Reuben and I had a BLT. We 3 agreed that the food was hot, fresh, and tasty.

  63. Faith Leon

Food was amazing. Service was kinda slow. Prices are kinds ridiculously high. $48 for breakfast?

  64. piggylovesdragon

Ordered pancakes, bacon & eggs, biscuit and gravy. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but the pancake was more like a crepe. Biscuit and gravy was a little over flavored with fennel. For me, the biscuit should be fluffier. The dish also came out somewhat warm.
I can appreciate the creativity of the dishes but sometimes less is better , especially for breakfast. I liked the decor, globes and dad pics everywhere :).

  65. Greg F

The food here is soooo good. 5 stars is not enough 🙂

  66. Diane Smith

I ordered a cheeseburger and my husband had the pork belly biscuits and gravy. While both were absolutely delicious my meal ended horrifically. I had consumed about 2/3 of my burger and felt something tickling my lip. I brushed off the thing that tickled and it fell on my plate. It was an inchworm happily crawling along next to my potato wedges. My husband discreetly brought this to someone’s attention while I tried not to vomit on the table. They apologized and comped my meal. Not our drinks or husband’s meal. The food was delicious, but perhaps they don’t wash their lettuce very well. You decide if you want to eat here.

  67. Peace Love Joy

They were kind about their mixup with the allergies and they fixed it quick. Fun vibe and the pics on the wall are pretty rad. Notice their motto on the menu board and entry signs 👍🏽

  68. Mark Berensomething

Absolutely amazing food and service. Truly amazing. Everything fresh from scratch.

  69. David Prendergast

Always a good brunch/lunch. Have never been disappointed.

  70. Jon Dye

A great place loved the food great service

  71. S Osburn

Had a delicious breakfast. Ordered dad’s breakfast. The biscuit and bacon were amazing. Highly recommend this place both breakfast and lunch.

  72. Rob Wingard

Outstanding. Best food in town. They make in-house nearly everything on the menu, from the hot sauce to the bacon and sausage. You simply can’t miss on the food here. The service is always top notch too.

  73. Sue Arnoldus

Excellent food, unique and Tristana was very friendly and prompt.

  74. Joe Goggans

My wife and I are new to anacortes and decided to eat here today for a late brunch. We both ordered the redneck Benedict, I got bacon, she got sausage. As we are both big breakfast people we hold our breakfasts to a high standard and we quickly both agreed this was some of the best breakfast we had ever had from a restaurant. House made meats, biscuits from scratch, and I suspect even the hot sauce on the table was house made. If you’re ever in anacortes around breakfast time, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it.

  75. melisa mcandrew

What a fun experience!!! The B&G devine
