Wow, I didn’t even think I liked french fries that much until I had french fries here. I’m impressed!
Good food, I had the jalapeno cheese burger and fries. The burger was a little dry today but still very tasty. The fries were delicious as usual. The hood size portions are more than I can eat. I love their shakes. The food is always good.

My friend and I would eat here when we lived closer. We returned after a few years and it was just as great! Food is delicious, staff is very friendly, and the price is super reasonable.
I was a dork and dropped my fries in the parking lot and they were kind enough to replace them for me. Highly recommend this place!

Don’t know what happened with this place but very disappointed. I used to love eating here . I’d bring my grandson here at least once a week . I just ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries and drink . The bacon was burnt to a crisp , the beef was not juicy ,the bun felt hard and tasted subpar , the fries yuck . I loved the fries before , golden brown moist in center perfect with the frie sauce . I will be going back to complain to the owner and ask what happened. Now I think about it she was not their hmmm. Kinda lost me as a customer. Why change what worked , why rush what was delicious . The timing was excellent . Dang it guess I’ll have to make the trip to frugles now .
This is your typical local burger joint, everything is made to order and everything is just perfection. If you are looking for a great burger with perfect fries then this is your place. The milkshakes are so good and just complete the experience that you get here. Parking can sometimes be hard since the lot is usually busy and small but so worth it!
We get out food to go and they always make the fries fresh!
Really good at some times, sometimes they don’t hit the mark.The sourdough bacon burger is delicious, but can get a little burnt sometimes. The fried mushrooms are amazing, and they always give you plenty of fries.
The best old school burger shack ever. Like all old school burger shacks, don’t have expectations on anything other than fantastic food.

Good local burger place. Tried a Philly cheesesteak and the spicy grilled chicken burger.
The cheesesteak was more of a roast beef with cheese, mushrooms, and onions. It was good but not the best I’ve had in the pacific northwest (that’s still Legendz in Tacoma). The “spicy” chicken burger wasn’t really spicy, wasn’t all that seasoned, and was absolutely a soggy mess… the fried mushrooms tho? AMAZING! And the fried cod burger wasn’t bad, getting extra tartar sauce on the side is definitely a good idea.
Even after the new owner the foods still as good as it was 4 years ago. Everything is perfect the staff are amazing and its the perfect small Business with the perfect.
Ok, it was a booth at the Washington state fair. The burgers were great, but the curly fries weren’t so great, plus they didn’t have any ketchup
Small business, no frills. Fast, friendly service. I’ve never tried something on the menu that I did not enjoy. Always go for the bacon cheeseburger and fried zucchini. My number one go-to burger joint in Federal Way.
Not bad for my first time here. I got the grilled onion burger with onion rings. The burger was good and pretty filling. The onion rings, however, had a thick breading coating it which just felt too much.
I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu especially the jalapeño poppers or the fish burgers next time but pass on the onion rings.
Flame Burger Plus Revisit (Aug 14, 2023 Lunch time. Last visit June 2022)
This revisit occurred during one of the hottest days in 2023 in WA state. My daughter and I were looking for a burger place for lunch, and chose this place from previous experience of about 15 months. We also wanted to find a place with air conditioning to get out of the heat. Well, the air conditioning was not quite there as far as I can tell. The facility was loud due to the high speed venting fan sounds over the cooking space. I can’t quite tell if the indoor air circulation was due to weak air conditioning, or simply due to the air being “pulled” through the high speed loud venting fans. We did not noticed the problem till we stepped out of the store after the meal, when we felt the cooler outside temperature while in the shaded area. This, however, did not distract much from the taste of the food, which was excellent. I have since raised the star rating of this place from my previous 4 star rating, to now a 5 star rating.
This time around, the ice tea dispenser was not working. Right beside the cash register has the Specials listing with about 5 or more items. I may have missed the cheesesteak the previous time, or maybe this is a “new” item? I am a cheesesteak fan, and will always try out a cheesesteak if it is on the menu. Daughter had the same Bacon Cheeseburger as she did the previous time. She claimed the burger was just as good as before, the fries were fried well, and the Fried Zucchini sticks (new item ordered this time around.) were divine.
The cheesesteak sandwich is different from others. It seems this place uses “Steak-umm” type thin sliced beef as the meat base, with added sauteed onions and green peppers, plus a slice of cheese added to it. The “torpedo” bread was grilled nicely (Bread tastes better processed this way when compared to simply toasting it. Perhaps it is because of some grease from the grilled meat sticking to it?). The only downside is that it did not have enough of the sauteed vegetables; other than that, I find that it is the best tasting cheesesteak I’ve ever had in WA state so far. The fries, fried zucchini, and the Pepsi products also complimented the meal excellently.
The staff were pleasant (Not sure where the boss is.) and the “piped” background music provided a cool environment to the dine-in experience (partially drown out the loud air vent noise too.). Both of us enjoyed that meal thoroughly.
Again, if you are in the area, make sure you make the effort to visit the place and try out the food. Enjoy and tell us your personal experience.

Salmon burger on point and best grilled cheese sandwiches
This is the best burger 🍔 place ever. We love it 😍 so fresh.
Food is average nothing to leave the house and go get the milkshakes will make u sick for some reason.
Hungry? Don’t miss this place. You won’t be sorry.

This place is a hidden jem. It was so delicious and, in my opinion, one of the best burgers around!!
Great burgers, ample portions, and great service. It’s a small place with maybe seating for 12 and nothing impressive for atmosphere. That said, I eat in there often and it always clean and enjoyable. Visit soon!

Delicious burgers, yummie shakes…(almost as good as Frisko Freeze), and terrificly tasty onion rings, on top of THE BEST BLT around. Friendly and usually crowded.
