Everything was absolutely exquisite, amazing service, the food, the staff you name it! It was all absolutely perfect! I highly recommend taking your families there, you will not be disappointed!
The lumpia was perfectly cooked, the BBQ pork sweet and tangy, and the Thai iced tea comes in a GIANT jar. And very decent prices!
This is a 5 star restaurant in Burlington and a place I will be sure to call a second home next time I visit the area. Restaurant is small but has a great updated and modern decor and wonderful friendly service.
I had the Lola’s combo plate and found it to be a great choice if you want to take in several staple menu items to make your dining experience a tasty journey. It comes with Lumpia, BBQ and Pancit and all were really good.
I would recommend giving them a try if your in the area or want to just explore your culinary taste buds with some authentic Filipino cooking.
My daughters, ages 7 and 9, and I ate at Lola’s International Kitchen for lunch today in Burlington. What an amazing surprise to find fresh, wholesome, authentic Filipino food in Burlington! We’ll be stopping here every time we drive north, I only wish that were more often! I had the Filipino style breakfast with bangus, garlic rice and a fried egg. My 7 year old had the chicken pancit. My 9 year old had the bbq chicken satay and garlic rice. There was not one scrap left. The crispy and tangy bangus was perfectly prepared with a side of patis. The generous portion of pancit had chunks of fresh chicken, 🥕, and deliciously seasoned noodles. The BBQ chicken and garlic rice hit the spot for my 9 year old who declared her food WAY better then the chicken strips she usually orders off kids menus😝 The owner of Lola’s is so friendly and kind! She is friends with the fabulous family that owns Oriental Mart in Pike Place, the Filipino food stall that won the James Beard award last week. They’ve been serving salmon sinigang to satisfy local Filipino’s cravings for a taste of home for years. Lola’s International Kitchen is right in step with their delicious home-cooked Filipino meals. Fresh, savory, beautifully prepared food you’ll fall in love with. Don’t miss out on Lola’s when you’re within driving distance of Burlington!
I was craving Filipino food so bad and this place did not disappoint!
Fresh and made to order. Such good food and the owner went around and chatted with everyone. Very personable. We went on Valentines day; it was set up so beautifully💜 So glad to find ube ice cream locally and the best is that its all from scratch. will definitely return. They’re open like M-F until 3 so makes it a bit of a challenge with work and all.
Fantastic place! Lumpia absolutely wonderful! Beautiful location and gal working the counter, I think the owner, was sweet and helpful.
My first time here. Food was great. Most definitely come back again. I had the chicken bbq. The people are nice & friendly
Great food made with passion. The chef came out with the dish to talk about what went into it and to ask what we though. And the halo halo was redicoulously!
Good food, great taste, they used fresh ingredients. The lumpia was bomb, will stop by again just for that. The pancit could use more chicken.
Love this place! Their lumpia is the best around!
Walked in and instantly felt at home. The food was fantastic and the chef came out to chat afterwards. She takes such pride and joy in being able to share her Filipino cuisine and that makes the food that much better. Will absolutely be back 🙂
When I heard there was a Filipino restaurant in town I had to check it out and Lola’s did not disappoint. On top of the food being absolutely delicious, the owner was so nice and friendly. The pork adobo was especially amazing, couldn’t recommend more.
So happy to finally have a brick-and-mortar Filipino place close by! Moving from Seattle made me miss all the great Filipino food I had access to, but with Lola’s I can get my fix. I cannot wait to try the loaded halo halo next time!
I was so happy to see Lola’s open and decided I do miss Filipino food.
Service was outstanding, both by Lola and the waitress. Dining room was clean, and I felt comfortable to dine in.
Had Lola’s platter, and ate it all, it was all so, so good. Bought a take out for my husband. Again, yummy and in his tummy.😁
I can’t wait to go back with my husband.
We ate here this week for our first time, It was so delicious! Really authentic Filipino cuisine. The owners are super friendly and hospitable. Going to make this a regular
Lolas is a family favorite! The food is amazing, atmosphere is unmatched and Lola takes the time to get to know her regulars. When we attended the grand re-opening it was like we were surrounded by community family and that speaks volumes!
Me, and my husband, ordered multiple meals, to try. since we never ate here. Loved the food, was delicious. Everyone was so nice!
I ordered their special to go which was kare kare. Their kare kare was really good! Because it was to go, I totally expected it to just be stew dumped in a container but even to go, she took really good care to make the food look presentable in the container. I loved the way she cooked her veggies separately and arranged it into a presentation. She garnished it with peanut chunks which at first i thought was just for looks but the peanut actually elevated the dish. The meat was really tender shank and the sauce was good consistency and not greasy or overly salty. She even added a side of dark bagoong, making it really authentic. I ordered with garlic rice and my meal was way way better than I expected. Thank you!
