I’ve always loved coming here, very friendly staff, ive never had a bad meal,,, always left feeling like this is a great place to go , highly recommend this establishment
Delicious! An updated room with busy waitresses, I can see this as a new place to frequent. Old school large servings, so prices r a bit more, but I enjoy supporting local & family owned. When leaving the parking lot to exit, it’s easy to get back on Kent Kangley but you’ll be heading West again towards Hwy 18 and Kent. Enjoy!
definitely tasty and you get your money’s worth!
I love going here, you really get good service and food at an affordable price !!!
You will not leave hungry!
Very friendly staff (Barbara) and the food, as always, did not disappoint. We all ordered the clam chowder (non-dairy btw) and each of us ordered a different entree. Everything was made to order.. and the fish and chips were perfectly fried and not at all greasy. Everything they serve is fresh (only the fries are previously frozen) and they source their fish and produce from Washington.. a plus if you want to keep money in the local economy. Beyond fish, the rest ordered a reuben, liver, and a julianne salad.
Excellent food, large portions. My beef stroganoff was so good.
I have only ever eaten breakfast here and its usually nothing to write home about.
Be sure to ask for the senior menu. Regular items seem a little pricey
Best eggs Benedict!! Great place! My wonderful boyfriend and I love this place
Was good, have had better pancakes, but eggs Benedict was great!! Very nice waitress. A little on the speedy side, but definitely worth it.
This little gem has some of best food !
I had rge Easter Special that was top sirloin and 3 egg breakfast. Steak was prepared perfectly and my waitress was wonderful
Took my family here in the weekend and there’s a great small town diner vibe, here. We ordered noon breakfast and the service was really good. Large portions and tasted as expected. My steak and eggs were very good! My only gripe would be the weak coffee. We’ll be back!
Always a great place to eat. Generous portions. I couldn’t have pie, because I had such a lovely salad.
Good food, great service and good portions but definitely pricey compared to other places around. Lemon pie was yummy
It was a really good breakfast with a generous portion and very good wait staff . The food arrived hot and was as ordered My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the dramatic price increase on meals. It the should not cost $50 . We did not order anything special or extra extra just 2 basic breakfast one was an omelet and 1 was pancakes no it’s nothing exceptional no coffee 1 Orange juice $50 is just very steep in price and makes it almost impossible to eat out very often Again I enjoyed the food and it is not the weight staff or the cook’s fault that the price is so high and I get it restaurants are struggling but drug wing but something has to give
Food was pretty good, I was a bit disappointed that the prawns were basically frozen breaded shrimp…I should have asked if they were batter dipped. Although my order was to go the server was really nice
Just spent $100 at this restaurant and they forgot half my order!! I call the owner hangs up on me and was so rude!! With the economy being the way it is you would think that they would be appreciative that they still have customers but the owner I don’t know what her name is Miss Nikki she don’t care that I spent $100 and had to drive 30 minutes to get her food and we didn’t even get our full order so thanks Nikki‘s for nothing used to be good food but I’m looking at this beef stroganoff and it looks like three days old people avoid this place at all costs very rude owners do not care if they Mess up your order and think it’s perfectly fine for you to drive back 30 minutes when gas is five dollars a gallon and we didn’t even get an apology she just hung up bad service I’d give them zero stars if I could and I’ve eaten at this restaurant for at least 15 years
Service and food were good. A bit spendy for what it is. The kids breakfast menu is limited to one option and no substitutions. A single pancake on the side is $8!
Usually good food, but a little pricey. For an entree, you get your item plus soup or salad and several choices of a side dish. These include a potato or pasta with white or red sauce. We usually end up getting the pasta and taking it home.
Large portions of tasty food, Good Bloody Marys & friendly, fast service. I’ll be back!
We went for breakfast, Prices are high. It looks like it might be better then a Diner by it’s decor and full staff, but it’s just a really nice “Shari’s”. The food was good, just not “17$ a plate good” just for breakfast fare. Be smarter to keep breakfast pricing low (eggs and potatoes) and charge more for dinner. Just an observation. I was just really surprised, and choices were more limited then I expected. I still gave 4 stars, because food was 👍 GOOD and staff was GREAT.
Wait Staff was Great, was disappointed with My Chicken Marsala – cook is definitely not Italian.
The food & service was great! The portions – ginormous! So big, in fact, that most of us took home about 1/2 of each of our dinners, which you might say, “hey cool 😎, 2 meals for the price of 1!” But I’d much rather they cut the portions back by maybe 25% and pass that savings on to the menu prices – – bc it WAS rather pricey, and I’d rather eat there more often and be able to afford it, rather than once in a blue moon bc I can’t afford that expensive of a dinner very often. 😁 But, like I said, the food was delicious, even their fettuccine Alfredo, about which I’m highly selective & snobby 😋🙄😏 and our service was fantastic!
The service is out of this world! The food is delicious. The chicken is mouth watering yummy. I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Nikki’s Restaurant & Lounge!!
Great food and large portions.
Butterscotch pie was delish!
Had a really good breakfast there this morning–appreciated the greeting, excellent service and the food was terrific. Browns, bacon and eggs- hard to go wrong.
Great chicken fried steak
Great comfort food, great service, and great portion sizes. I had one of my favorite meals and it was fantastic, the chicken fried steak. I always order chicken fried steak with brown gravy instead of white gravy, and Nikki’s brown gravy is the best. Made from scratch. Great size steak portion and HUGE mashed potatoes portion that I, a big eater, couldn’t finish. Wonderful meal with great service. The beef barley soup was superb. I eat a Nikki’s regularly.
My husband and I were there today. Would not recommend the food. Sent out on cold plates, with A/C on in restaurant. So food was absolutely cold. Ordered the special Taco Joe for breakfast. Was very bland hardly any seasoning, tasted like a bunch of mush. Hashbrowns were just grilled mush, and very old oily taste. Took it home and fed to our dog. Will not go back
Recently moved to the area and wanted to try out this restaurant. I have to say that it was a very pleasant experience and will be definitely be coming again. Dawn was a delightful woman and Jesse really cares about making sure the customers are happy. Food was hot and delectable with very hearty portions, soup was homemade and delicious I would highly recommend the beef barley.
Under new ownership, was in for breakfast a couple of weeks ago, food, service were the usual great standard. In yesterday for lunch, my Son wanting his favorite sirloin steak sandwhich. While the amount of fries always served had been way to much, that’s been cut in half. The French bread was 4″ longer than the piece of steak, which was cheewy, not the same cut as previous. Would not order again😔
Best French toast and cook the way I need it done, extra crispy, great cook, very nice waitress, clean, seated quickly, new owners are great and care about you coming back 😋
Great sandwiches!
I hadn’t been to Nikki’s for a couple of years. The breakfast options in Covington are pretty limited. I decided to give them another try and I doubt I will ever be back. I was seated fine and asked what I would like to drink. I asked for coffee and water. The waitress asked if I would like cream, I said yes. I drank the entire cup and cream never came. I got a refill and asked for cream again, it still never came. My water was gone now and a refill never came. I had ordered a Denver omelette and it seemed to take a very long time, it was odd that it had mushrooms in a Denver so I don’t know if I even got a Denver. I also got an English muffin with it and it came without butter and none was provided. I gave up at this point and have been waiting for my check to be picked up. It wouldn’t take much for another restaurant to be the best breakfast in town.
Wonderful people work there atmosphere freindly and warm pancakes were delicious and fluffy We stayed and visited a while so we ordered pie 3 kinds all absolutely wonderful Will definitely return
Hubby and I stopped for an early dinner out. He had a Reuben with delicious onion rings. I ordered their beef liver with onions and a side of bacon. Best ever!!
Been going here for years. Moved to the coast make it a point to have a meal every time we come to the area. Great food and service, friendly servers. We have our favorites, California berger Chicken fryed steak and Biscuits and gravy 😋😋😋
Had the sausage patties breakfast plate and the hash browns were not crispy, they were actually undercooked and the English muffin was overcooked to the point it was too hard to eat. Lower stars since this meal was overpriced for what was edible at over $17 for the plate. Coffee was luke warm. With tip this meal is close to $30. Not worth the stop.
Service was slow and the food was underwhelming. Not enough flavor or spices.
