If I could give them zero stars, I would. The dirty fish tank at the front of the restaurant should have told us all we needed to know. Our soup and tea tasted like dirty tap water. The service was painfully slow (only one waitress working, she did her best). We waited one hour after ordering for our food to finally arrive. It was a complete let down. The food was room temperature at best. My almond chicken was flavorless and made up of cheap, poorly cooked, dark meat. The pork chow mein was also flavorless and the crunchy noodles were stale. Also stale was my fortune cookie, but at least mine had a fortune inside, unlike my mother’s. We thanked our waitress but asked to speak to the manager about the food. The manager could not be bothered to speak with us about our experience but offered a measly 10% off of our bill. We are now waiting for the inevitable cramps and diarrhea to set in. Stay far away from Peking Palace. I would recommend Dragon Inn down the street.
Honestly the food was really good and the service was good too. I just can’t rate it higher because of how dusty the curtains were. If you are going to have a place with such elaborate decor then it really needs to be kept clean.
It took over an hour to get the food, and the food was nasty. Chicken in huge chunks not cooked evenly, sauce was thick and gross. Pictures in the menu do not match what you actually get. Waste of 60$.
Great little bar. Friendly staff.
Wow! Take out Food way overcooked! I ordered Crispy Duck for $18 and was charged for Peking Duck ($35) which was so dry it was inedible! Styrofoam containers were so sloppy they didn’t hold the food and when I got home it dripped all over the takeout bag…yuck!!!
We ordered our food online at 4:15 and at 7:45 we still didn’t have our food. I hope it’s good but I won’t recommend to any friends. The waitress that helped us was extremely rude.
Dont even deserve one star negative 100 stars is more like it.Very hurt at how I was treated. I am disabled. Thought I’d order my son and I Chinese for new years dinner .when it came none was eatable. After three hrs of trying to get a refund all they would do is replace my order .but after how sick I got from only two small tast I didn’t fill comfortable ordering again .it’s just wrong not to give a refund when nothing was eatable .45 dollers not alot to some but being on ssi its alot to me .it’s just wrong to treat people that way I was in tears no matter what I said I was continually offerd food but refused a refund .so in the end I was basically forced to order something or else loose the money i spent so as I order I can’t believe how unbelievably rude the manager was it was there mistake they caused me tons of stress and ruined my dinner .then on top of everything have the nerve to charge me an extra 5 dollers for what’s she says was for a substitution but I already payed 45 so 50 dollers for two combination dinners .it was 3 pm when I ordered 8:30 were finally gonna eat but I pray to God it tastes better and doesn’t make me sick .I will never ever order from them again and trust me unless you like very poor customer service and very blan blah undercooked or over cooked food I would definitely not order here.ive never done a review but this time I had too possibly save someone else from making a horrible mistake. Rude Manger!!! Terrible cook yuck 🤮 biggest waist of money ever next time I’ll make my own before I go threw something like that again .
Like the food but second time didnt get our soup with the order
The food is horrible and the soup tastes like sewer water. I was clad I only was out a $20 dollar bill for this. I will never go there again, but others will waist there money good luck to them.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Spokane, their food is good. The prices are reasonable and they give you a lot of food. I like their chefs special dishes, I have tried a few and they have all been good .
I order over $200 of food to go and i have to say the food was terrible…especially the duck was so dry and oily that i had to throw them out..! Do not waste your money here.. the customer service was also terrible. Im an out of town customer.
Don’t waste your money or time here. Food was terrible, no flavor and looked liked leftovers.I don’t recommend this place at all.
We’ve been going here since 1987 so it’s a sentimental place for us. It is not a new building or even updated but the food is good and the service is great. It has the ornate Chinese decor gold dragon statues and ceiling tiles etc. This will continue to be one of our favorite places.
We’ve had takeout from them before and it was amazing.
The dine in experience was not as much. We really liked our waitress, she was very sweet.
But the place was dark, our food took a long time and somehow didn’t taste as good as our last takeout order. I didn’t eat the leftovers that I brought home.
I could understand the food taking a while if they were busy but there were only two occupied tables including ours. It sounded like they had quite a few takeout orders and next time I’ll go that route as well.
This place gets a bad rap for no reason. The food was good, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I wouldn’t call it a five-star because the building is dated, however that does not subtract from the quality of food or service that we received.
The dining establishment is well lit but there is too many food items to order. The server was fast and friendly but lacked conversation. Would consider coming back.
Although the staff was very friendly the food was so so and the prices were EXTREMELY HIGH.
The chicken was looking a little on the limp sided
Starting to get a little run down. Carpet needs cleaned bad. Food is okay, service was fine. I’m looking for a better Chinese Restaurant.
Not very good Chinese food. Noodles were not good at all, fried rice seemed more like just brown rice with soy sauce. Sweat and sour chicken was good. The service was pleasant! The building seems run down, especially the exterior.
I was so hungry, bought $35 worth of food, drove halfway across town, and couldn’t eat any of it. Nothing tasted good, unless you like the taste of cooking oil.
Food seemed like it was a couple days old and microwaved. Almond chicken was so dry it wasn’t edible even with the sauce. The cook needs a haircut or at least a hair net. I used to love there food and the service was good but this is the last time I will order from them. Don’t waste your time or money.
They are still closed as of Oct 2022 but looking to reveal their new face lift soon.
