1. I love this place! Having an authentic mexican restaurant so close to me is such a welcome aspect since I live in the mountains 30 minutes away. My favorite dish is the camerones diablo with a margarita. Although I’m not a big bean lover I actually love their refried beans. The rice is lightly spiced and very flavorful. But it’s the warm chips, salsa and pico de gallo that I crave and love. Lots of great taste with the perfect amount of heat. Can’t go wrong here. Both the service and the food have always been excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and the people are friendly and accommodating. This local, family owned eatery is a definite must try and worth traveling for.

2. Typically have no issues here. Great food and the staff is nice. Not sure what happened this evening though … The same 3 meals I’ve orderd a half dozen times this winter that normally costs around 40 dollars (with a tip) cost me more than 60 tonight. To say I was surprised is a bit of an understatement. I paid $12.00 for what I thought was a side of rice and beans and my Verde burrito wasn’t made the way I ordered it. Like I said, typically really great food. May Just want to verify price before you pick up order. A little disappointing.

3. Never going here again. Sad that I won’t be because this place was mine and my fiance first date. But what would normally cost us about $40 cost us almost $70! And almost $4 for a little sour cream like umm what?

5. Good authentic food, good portions, pretty quick for takeout. The tortilla chips are great. Beware they can close early on a quiet day.

6. Took my wife for lunch . I expected authentic food . The only thing authentic was the lady that acted like she wasn’t there . My wife had the salad that was bland , had to smother it with salsa . My chile relano and beef enchiladas were horrible . The ice tea with no straw
   and $10 margarita was fine….Next time I’ll go to taco bell for a $40 lunch

15. We enjoy this place and love the food. We go often, as we live close. However, the last 2 times we couldn’t get service. A week ago we went for takeout but they were closed before their listed time. Today, we called to make sure they were open. They said yes so again we went for takeout. The doors were open, we walked in and they said they were closed. Again an hour and a half before their listed time and even after we called.

18. Family restaurants hit different. And this one is such a home run. For Spanish and English speakers both, the atmosphere is fun and wholesome. The food is pricey but never over-priced. You get the food you paid for and it is delicious! The salsa is one of a kind and the menu has such a variety, I don’t know how they do it. But you won’t leave hungry!
    I got the Carne Azada to perfection!
    And I would definitely recommend going on a birthday. They have a special treat for those with a birthday.

33. Quite literally the best Latin food I’ve ever had! Teresa’s Carne Asada sets the standard. If you want authentic, this is it! Expect to practice your Spanish, this place is the real deal!

35. Small home town Mexican food that’s surprisingly authentic and reasonably priced! Service was wonderful and our waitress was absolutely charming when a family with kids came in. Support this small family owned business, times are tough and these special places need preserving!

40. Authentic and absolutely delightful! The size of the plates are huge and decently priced, the staff are always super nice even when they are extremely busy. One of the only places we eat each time we go to Deer Park. Definitely recommend!!

43. The chili rellenos are not dipped, but rather have scramble folded around the pepper. Hand-dipped are better. The beans look anemic.
