Quick , It was good. Decent selections. I’d eat here again
Good teriyaki, cheap lunch specals.. worth the stop.
We always have enjoyed our meals from Sunny Teriyaki. The portions are large so can generally enjoy 2 meals from each order. They are busy most of the time so I usually call in our order.
Usually purchase the full meals, but this afternoon decided to go with the lunch bowl special. The food is always the best, and the 3 lunch bowls were more than adequate for lunch.
I like going here because it’s great food, close to my home the ladies at work out front are always friendly hospitable and do their job very well. The food’s always nice and hot and fresh. I personally like the chicken teriyaki. And their menu is very broad and reasonably priced. Thumbs up to everyone that works there.. from Neil
The food is good but your better off getting take out
Best place in town , hands down
Absolutely delicious. Clean and friendly place. The chicken teriyaki itself is 5 stars. So good! The sauce is sweet – not too salty. The gyoza is wonderful with a light sauce to dip it in (not a soy sauce). The salad has a tangy white dressing and the lettuce is always fresh and crisp + its quite a large salad, full to the brim. I would Love to rate 5 stars but the chicken in the fried rice and in the yakisoba is so bad -not just bad but really awful/terrible. It might be boiled? Unsure but its mealy and chewy and tasteless. The fried rice comes with an abundance of peas and carrots, hardly any corn but it does have some -my family enjoys it but would personally prefer less of the peas and carrots and more of the corn. The yakisoba is heavy on the cabbage and carrots, would be so great with different chicken. I love this place though and highly recommend as long as you anticipate the boiled? chicken in the chicken fried rice and in the yakisoba -the chicken teriyaki is where its at though!
Have eaten here many times when in the area and will even drive up for their teriyaki from down in the Everett area. It’s delicious and their customer service is superb. Best spicy chicken teriyaki I’ve had.
I like the spicy chicken teriyaki with stir-fried vegetables and a salad.
Great selection, great food and awesome workers. The proportions are amazing, always hitting the spot. Drinks a bit pricy, other then that a great place .
Always the best in the valley or anywhere for that matter, and the staff is some of the kindest I’ve had the pleasure to be served by
Well the staff were friendly enough no question there . The problem that we experienced was that the dishes we ordered like beef / chicken etc etc tasted like it had obviously been cooked on a scorched or dirty surface . Super bummer because we payed close to 100 dollars for our food and we’re hoping for a delicious meal .
The other dish like yakisoba ( spell check 😳) and anything fried tasted on point oh and the salad lol.
Still kind of a bummer . I mean close to 100 bucks and a couple bites into it and that was it for me
Great food and inexpensive. Always worth the stop.
Called in to make a order and was told it would be ready in 16 mins. Got to the restaurant 20 mins later and the cashier told my bf that she couldn’t do the beef ribs and the combination. I had to go in and clarify what we wanted . Why didn’t she clarify what we said on the phone?! Now we have to wait another 20 mins for our food because of their mistake and not understanding because they are young and new and ignorant.
I wish I could come here everyday. GO RAPTORS
Best teriyaki in the county!!! The lunch special is very inexpensive and totally fabulous! My boyfriend and I are obsessed with it and go every chance we can!!!
In my opinion, the best teriyaki in the Skagit Valley.
Tasty food and good portion sizes for a good price.
Food is amazing, employees are super cool! I drive all the way from bham just to eat here.
Great food! Nothing much else to say, if you want delicious food this is a great stop.
Lunch bowl is the best here cheap and quick
Good for years! Then changes… and now even better… way to go! Great food.. nice service… and clean dining room… best take out Teriyaki!
Best teriyaki around. Wouldn’t get lunch anywhere else.
Most delicious teriyaki place on Skagit
A sunny teriyaki experience with large portions and very good teriyaki plates.
This place is my gold standard for teriyaki. It’s the best you can get. Nobody else does it as good or gives you the quantity for the price. 5 stars for sunny teriyaki, 4 or less for their competition lol.
