Today was my 1st time and DEFINITELY won’t be my last! The value was amazing, the food delicious and the staff was so kind and friendly!!! The food was so good that I forgot to get a before pic but this is the after! Full stomachs and lots of take-home leftovers!
I really enjoyed this place .. food was delicious and nice size portions. Definitely get your money’s worth
Great food, friendly staff and service. Like a lot of places I wish you could get a 1/2 order for 1/2 the price, still tasty though.
If you leave here hungry, you must have a bottomless stomach! Excellent breakfast. Usually hesitant to eat anything with white gravy in a restaurant (i’m very picky) but couldn’t resist the bisquits & gravy onnthe table next to us… Glad i did, yummy. New favorite breakfast place, shame its 2.5 hrs away from home
I enjoyed food. Service was great can’t say enough. Yes it’s worth checking out.. Look how good the food looks. Best part the chef just absolute great food. Whomever cooked our food, you are appreciated. We had a good time trying each others dish. Great memories.
Terry’s is hands down my to go to place! Lunch or breakfast! Their portions are huge, the prices are fantastic and the staff and everyone there is so incredibly friendly I feel like family anytime I go there! I don’t have any pictures because I’m always in a rush to eat it al because it’s so damn good!! Love Terry’s!
This place is a good diner. For those who don’t know what that is, it means large portions of amazing food. It also means good>healthy, so abandon your diet, all ye who enter here.
For 30 years I slumbered on delicious breakfast and my eyes have been opened to the majesty of Terry’s… You’re not there yet? Why? What hinders you from understanding the grace of Terry’s? Work? Leave it. Family? Unimportant. Terry’s will take care of you. Terry’s will provide. For you, there will always be T̴̥̋͐è̴̝̗r̸̺͒́r̸͎̘͂͘ỵ̷̉’̵̪͊̀s̶͚̪̽.
One of our favorite breakfast places. Open for breakfast and lunch, most times pretty busy. Food is delicious and portions are hardy.
Down home chicken fried steak breakfast. Need I say more? Eh….ok…..I loved it, kiddos loved it. Cannot wait to go back….although I feel the need to jog off the ol’ fried steak! Annnnnd! All the staff we talked to were super friendly. A must in this area.
Very happy with the service and the meal. Glad we made the choice to try it. We were able to bobtail in our Big Rigs (one reg sleeper, one ARI 132 sleeper) here and we’ll worth it.
I’m sorry, but our breakfast was an epic fail. My eggs were undercooked, the steak was overcooked, & they fried my biscuit!!! I don’t know what is so hard about over medium eggs, but it seems to be very difficult for many cooks. I CANNOT eat runny whites. Period. Total gross out. Can’t do it. The steak was disappointing; but I was hungry & waiting for my new eggs, so I ate it. The replacement eggs were decent, not perfect, but edible.
My husband’s breakfast was edible. His eggs were okay, but again overcooked steak. He enjoyed his hashbrowns.
Old building, definitely needs updating. I can forgive the lack of style, but the disrepair & dirty appearance were not pleasant. Also the toilet paper was on the floor in the Ladies Room, as the holder was broken.
The staff were working really hard. The café was really busy. I doubt that we will be back. Ever.
Great service, dicious food served hot and plenty of it. Staff is friendly, on top of things, and you never wait for anything
Literally one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, I’m literally in my truck about to drive across town (and with these gas prices) just to have my biscuits and gravy! See yall soon!
Wonderful place, great workers and superb food!! I love this place we don’t go often because I like to hold myself back so I can enjoy my meal like I did the first time I ate there it’s a treat to eat here!! 😆
Nice wait staff I got the biscuits and gravy combo with 2 eggs cooked however you want and a choice of 2 bacon or sausage. Distinct taste. Nobody makes better biscuits IMHO. Reasonable price as well. I’ll be going back to this restaurant.
Been here 2 times since moving to Spokane 6 months ago. It’s safe to say this is our favorite place. Good Service Good Food. Do yourself a favor and get the Side of Jalapenos and Garlic, sure to make any dish a Win.
Amazing staff, great food, waiting time is a bit long, but I can’t complain. Had a great experience there! I definitely recommend going to anyone who’s never been there!
Was so good I forgot to take a pic of the huge plate 😂🤣, Came to town for business and was referred here and let me tell you…. Amazing food and Amazing service.
German sausage scramble 10/10!
Great place old school casual atmosphere. Food is great .staff is very attentive and very friendly. Great size portions . Great value a must stop when visiting the spokane Valley
You could tell the regulars from the non-regulars. Non-regulars are less important than their regulars.
~Non-regulars~
* One cup of coffee
* Forgotten items in order brought out at end of meal &. cold.
* Asked for a to-go-box, brought out after regulars were 💯% taken care of. -over- 15 minutes to receive it.
Food quality is outstanding ‼️
Not sure what we expected, but was so glad we went to this establishment. What a great atmosphere and wonderful people. Hashbrowns, eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bacon all done to perfection. Thank you!
Cozy, friendly atmosphere, good service and food had the down home flavor, good portions, able to set inside or outside, they also do catering.
Ultimate omelets. Best in town. Omelets bigger then any other breakfast joint in town. Terry is a good dude 7 feet tall and really has his finger on the pulse of the breakfast enthusiasts in Spokane. He knows what we like and does not deviate from it. If u can finish an omelet you will be scuttled and ready for a Sunday nap.
My son and I stopped in for the first time. We both left full and the prices were very reasonable. Friendly service and we received our food quickly.
Great place! We came around 9:00 and it was busy but we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Coffee was good. Service was great. I had the French toast which was 10/10!
There were so many choices I had to order several items. Everything was very tasty staff was happy to be there and made me feel welcome. Warm atmosphere, look forward to going back. Capt. Dan
My most favorite place for breakfast in Spokane. The ham and cheese omelette is super tasty with big chunks of ham and always great big portions along with hash browns toast
We like Terry’s quite well. Have always felt large portions for the money. However, this time I was a little disappointed. Not sure how 2 sausage Pattie’s and a side of scrambled eggs can be $21. I realize prices of everything has gone up but THAT IS RIDICULOUS FOLKS. I didn’t get receipt in my bag so who knows if they charged me for someone else’s order or what. It will be awhile before I go to Terrys again.
Hesitant to review, as I have mixed feelings.
It’s a comfortable homey diner with a very friendly staff.
My problem lies in that my my wife is very allergic to shellfish which is on their menu. The server didn’t seem to be very aware of the danger of cross contamination.
So, for breakfast my wife had a salad.
I had the Philly cheese steak scramble which was rather salty. I am more sensitive to salt then most people since I don’t ever use salt. So, I can’t be sure.
I was also a little uncomfortable watching the kitchen staff cooking without caps or anything to keep hair and such out of my food. Also, mixing food with bare hands. Grated cheese or frozen hash browns.
Always love coming here! Delicious food in massive servings at reasonable prices. Great service and homey atmosphere. I’ve never left unsatisfied.
Enjoy our second visit. I had the prime rib open face sandwich with a side salad. My husband had the miner breakfast and he loved it. Staff is super friendly. A good place to go for good hearty food.
We used to enjoy having breakfast there.
We were there about 8am.
It’s turned into a dive, the bathrooms were in dire need of a cleaning and a face-lift. Bathrooms and dining area in general reflect what may or may not be a reflection of the condition that their kitchen might be in.
The coffee is usually one of the perks that accentuate a dining experience. Folgers coffee is about the cheapest and unnatural of all.
Waitresses were friendly however service was lacking because we had to make them aware twice after we had sat down that we were even there.
The food was OK and the coffee was bad.
We’ve been to dives in the past and kept going back because the food and coffee was good and the owners were caring.
It just seems like they used to take pride in quality of their establishment.
We won’t be back anytime soon.
The only restaurant we know of that has prime rib and eggs for breakfast 🍳, and at a fair price! Lowest price for coffee ☕ in Eastern Washington and Idaho that I know of. No military 🎖️ discount. Handicap accessible at the rear end of the restaurant. Friendly waitresses, food tasted good.
Decent food, decent service. Bigger than average portions. Very cramped and busy on a Saturday morning. Not that it’s a negative, but thought I should mention that in case it’s a deal breaker for some. Not very accommodating to larger groups.
Our favorite go to breakfast place! Great good and friendly service. The place is a bit run down and in need of some sprucing up but we go back for the food.
What an awesome experience. First time eating here and I only regret not eating here sooner. I had a taco omelet which was delicious. Generous portions of food. Hash browns were a combo of soft and crispy yet fully cooked. Waitresses were very timely, especially since business was very steady while we were there, my coffee cup nor water glass ever went empty. As a few people would leave, just as many or more would come in. I will most certainly eat here again.
I think I may be alone on this review because this place was very busy. Looks like a locals hang out. But my group of five we’re not impressed. Sorry. All the things we tried were very bland and oily. I should have tried the pancakes that’s what it seemed like everyone else was having. I only ate a few bites of my country fried steak. It seemed like a frozen dinner kind of thing. One of the girls with us said it was very different than what she remembered, when stopping other times, over the years. I don’t know. I like dives, hole in the walls, and quaint family owned and operated businesses. I like to support those kind of places over chain stores and restaurants, but I hate to say I won’t be back. The staff was friendly and lots of people were there, it really was busy. So don’t take my word for it, give them a try you may like it. Maybe, Start with the pancakes, 😉
Stopped in to try these guys out and I’ve been there 3 times in the last two weeks! Breakfast scrambles are excellent and their burgers are hand pressed to order. Haven’t tried a Belgium waffle yet but that might be the next order!!
Portions are wonderfully large. The food itself is very tasty. The service is top notch. Prices are super competitive. Remarkable all around. Highly recommend to all. You won’t be disappointed!
It has a very homey and comfortable atmosphere. The staff was great at keeping coffee filled and although busy they were prompt at getting us served quickly. They maintained a welcoming feel and unlike other places didn’t make us feel rushed to turn the table. The food was delicious and generous portions.
