I just got some burgers today a bacon cheese and mushroom.. I forgot how good bar burgers are better thanx well up there with it
We have eaten here several times lately and the food has been very good and the service is friendly. Prime rib Thursday was excellent. Foggy burger was big and tasty. Prices arent too bad because portions are large. Nachos are very big. Bring your appetite or plan on a doggy bag.
Love this place! My favorite lunch spot, and great drinks to boot! The new owners have remodeled and given the place a face lift, it has a super comfortable and relaxed appeal and the service staff is fun and playful. Definite recommendation! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Ordered food and waited 45 minutes before leaving, people who came in after us got served not sure if the cooks were discriminating or what. Waitress was nice though.
My drink was decent, but the burger was sub-par due to the bun..that bottom bun started falling apart 2 bites in. 🙁 Which made it impossible to eat. Wasted $15. Regardless it’s a nice place to go get a drink!
Where to start…
First thing, get the burger dip and the garlic fries. I mean, just look at that deliciousness.
Second, if all the drinks are as good as the slip & slide drink, then you won’t wanna go anywhere else.
Third, pool tables and cues are near perfect.
Lastly, everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was great for our date night!
They must have new cooks from before the last shut down. Food is half the size and quality has taken a huge drop. I heard the manager passed away and things go way down hill. I’m sure he worked very hard so this place could succeed. But the ppl who took over obviously had no respect for what he wanted. Personal opinion, but I won’t be going there anymore based on how they disrespect someone who just passed away. It’s sick and disgusting. Not just the food, but who the business got passed to. Should be very ashamed with yourselves.
Jerry the bar tender was great! The part owner was there, she was so nice!
We got stuck with a car repair up the street..they took good care of us at the Box Car while we waited. Loved the drinks and atmosphere!
This place rocks! Kobe beef burgers yum! Staff is right on! I collect ANYTHING Mermaid. They had a bottle in their collection that caught my eye, again, ANYTHING Mermaid! After a couple of weeks…MERMAID TEARS VODKA BOTTLE IS HOME. I am thrilled!
Went tonight hoping to have a fun date night with my husband. I’m newly 21, and was extremely excited to try because they supposedly have great food. Only to be told that I was not welcome there due to having a vertical ID. The bartender was really nice about it, but owners, do better. I’m 21. It states on my ID, the fact that I am not allowed in a place due to the orientation of my ID is absurd and ridiculous. Never coming here again, even WHEN my ID is horizontal 🙄.
Friendly staff, good food, clean and appealing environment. Would have given at least a 4th star, but couldn’t for 2 reasons: 1: they are rarely (if ever) open past 9:30 pm, (which doesn’t make sense for a bar type establishment) and 2: they don’t offer gambling of any kind. I have no actual complaints about the service or products, just the limitations on each. I’d definitely recommend them as a good spot for lunch or a dinner date. Also not a bad choice to “warm up” for a night out.
Great food good beer and a well trained and caring staff. It was a fun experience and a chill atmosphere. I Will be a repeat customer.
Best gizzard and Mac and cheese bites! I did not get to try the full menu as I was passing time for my dad to get out of the hospital. As I got the call to get him they were super awesome about grabbing me a box and tabbing me out quick! Highly reccomend they make the gizzards fresh and alot of other items as well! Friendly staff the food menu is awesome and inexpensive.
I stoped here today Thursday for a late lunch. The place was empty I’m not sure why? The drink was a bit stronger then I’m used to but good. I had the fish and chips it was their daily special. Delicious food, great service. Both bartenders were kind and attentive. Good prices! I’ll definitely stop Again when I’m in the area!
