Best kept diner, tucked up off the beaten path. Very clean establishment, very attentive staff and very good food! Whether you have breakfast, lunch or dinner you love the quality of food and presentation!

So this place is clean and organized with a friendly staff. The food was warm and tasted good although not gourmet. My guess is it’s Sysco food without the Sysco price. Would I go back…..maybe.

We had the Club House sandwich. The turkey is fresh, the fries were hot. Overall a great meal and very friendly staff.

I was ecstatic when I saw they offered a Turkey dinner on their menu here at the Curious Chef. My meal started off with a choice of soup or salad, I chose a salad with ranch dressing and I’m so glad I did, the bowl was chilled and came with garlic bread. Our server Jasmine said they are currently making it in-house and on my gosh it was mouth watering. My meal was brought out shortly and let me say it was most eye appealing. It was going to be much more than I could eat so I planned on taking home my leftovers before I even started. My plate was full of delicious moist white and dark meat, garlic mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and veggies. This was just like a full Thanksgiving meal. I ate to my hearts content and took half of my meal home in addition to 2 pieces of garlic bread. The next morning all I could think about was warming up my yummy leftover Turkey Dinner. I just finished and let me tell you it was as delicious as the day before when the wonderful server Jasmine sat it on the table.

The Curious Chef is our favorite restaurant in town. The menu is surprisingly extensive. The food is excellent. The staff is courteous and friendly. We go there often. We have tried many of the menu items and have never been disappointed. This is clearly a restaurant that understands how to be a great restaurant.

Full menu, friendly service, prices lower than most. Food was great. Sad to see that most of rest of the mall is empty, this place still

Wonderful place. Great food and big portions for the price. I would recommend this place to anyone.

They consistently have great food. This is my go to place alone or with friends and visitors. They also have lots of ice cream choices for ice cream cones and milkshakes. Wait staff are the best!

Great placed tucked away in the mall. Wow! Had a delicious breakfast here. Country fried steak with savory gravy. The sides were delicious and plentiful: hash browns, two eggs, toast, ALL so tasty and cooked to perfection. Excellent, courteous service. Looking forward to going back.

Lovely quick service. I had an orange mimosa an avocado blt with a side salad and a side of fruit. I’m full full but not super full. One mimosa I’m a little squiggling but still sharp. The food presentation was on point, I love the salad bowls. I arrived close to closing time there were open tables available. Seating was fast and the wait staff was right on top of me for drinks orders. I was visited twice during my meal to ensure I was doing well and enjoying the food. Total bill 39.63 overall a good experience!

Delicious breakfast options and great service. We’ve been back a couple of times and I think this is now my go to breakfast place.

I’ve been here many times and it is always a pleasant experience. Good ingredients, cooked and presented well. Reasonable prices. And the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

Bustling diner with well cooked classics

I live in Edmonds and alot of my favorite breakfast places have closed recently. The drive is worth it because this place is on my top 10 list so I hope it sticks around. My family and I have eaten here a few times and have not been disappointed at all. I’m a chicken fried steak guy and they do a really good one here. If you are driving by Burlington and are hungry for a good breakfast do yourself a favor and stop by The Curious Chef

Very friendly wait staff, and the best eggs benedict in Burlington.

Updated (Aug. 19, 2022) Yet again, simply perfection on a plate, along with the service! We keep coming for breakfast BUT we must make it for lunch sooner than later. The lunch menu looks awesome as well!!! What a little gem hidden in an outlet mall. Don’t blink because you will miss it. Shall I say we were a bit skeptical when we drove up, yup, but once inside, the CLEAN surroundings, the wonderful looking food coming out of the kitchen, and the prompt and kind service, our initial thoughts of doom & gloom soon turned into pleasure and relaxation. The breakfast was perfect, very tasty and hot out of the kitchen! Charity & Aubrey took great care of us and we could not have been happier to find The Curious Chef, we shall return.

Great breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Wow, didn’t think there were “diner” places like this anymore. Delightful menu with items that, well, are from decades ago… like liver & onions… and excellent soups and simple salads are included, plus classic breakfast dishes. The only seats are in cushy booths and there is a huge parking lot.

We had the mexican omelet! It was so great and filling! This was the first time there. But I will be back! Great food and great service!

  21. Thad London

Food was excellent, service was sub par. Lot’s of servers on shift. No excuses

  22. Merlin Underwood

The chefs do a great job. The service is also great. We have dined her over a dozen times now and never had any issues. They accommodate most all Request.

  23. Hilda Becerra

Overpriced food and the service worst

  24. Aubrey Smith

    We love the curious chef!!!

Another great find in the area. A little off the beaten track but was well worth the visit. For a breakfast place it really cannot be beaten for quality of food and service. Eaten here now a couple of times and it has always been great. The usual selection of breakfast goodies and they basically make lunch items available as well.

Like the neighborhood diners I remember from the past. Good food, pleasant and clean atmosphere. We like to support them as a local small business. Located in the [largely vacant] Outlet Mall (plenty of parking 🙄…)

  27. Jr Smith

Just love this place. Perfect mix of hole in the wall, down home service, and incredible food. Makes my day everytime. Pricier than you’d think, though, so be ready for that.

  28. Luis Urenda

    Amazing food and great staff!
