Great friendly service and best margs we’ve had in awhile. Only criticism is too big of a menu, 70+ items is a bit insane but it was all good
Food, drinks and service were all great! We will return when passing through town again.
This is truly unlike any Mexican restaurant in the valley. Food was fresh/hot and so flavorful, absolutely recommend this for anyone that wants a delicious Mexican meal with great waitresses and waiters with a great atmosphere as well!!!
Food was excellent and so was the service.
My buddy has been telling me about this place for a couple years and we finally tried it, we were very happy we did
Had chicken and steak fajitas for two to go tonight Christmas Eve. It was excellent tons of food staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back.
Wasn’t that busy and was horrible service. Had to get a different servers attention to get water 20 min after we were seated. There were 3 other tables and 5 or so in the bar. Food was ok for the price. Typical Mexican food restaurant, nothing special here.
The food here is really good. The prices are way too high especially on margaritas. Ridiculous on margaritas.
Absolutely excellent food and good service. Salsa was very tasty. Carne asada tacos were top tier. Wife had Pollo con crema, sauce was to die for, chicken was a little tough.
Would not recommend.. feel like they just took my money with nothing In return.. Ordered extra ground beef on nachos got no ground beef on nachos and then had to argue about it also paid for the ground beef that I never got..
The chimichanga filling was in a burnt ball and that also was a argument… Called management the next day and the following week and never got nothing in return.. So I recommend just stick with Azteca.
Atmosphere is authentic, well decorated. Food is as good as it gets. You’ll get those authentic Mexican cuisine flavors you’d expect. Especially the home made chips and salsa!!
No flavor, enchiladas and tacos so dry and lacking seasoning. Over priced for dry flocowerless food.
Pretty pricey but the food is delicious and money well spent. I’m picky with my Mexican food as I am from the south and this place is definitely my go to . Great service ,amazing food and giant margaritas in case anyone is wondering lol . We are definitely coming back
Amazing!! My new favorite Mexican restaurant. Service was amazing. Food was incredible and huge portions. Chips and salsa was so good also.
First time visiting. The family and I love us some LA Preza out in Airway Heights but we decided to try something new just to get out of the house and try some place different. And let me just say this place did not disappoint. Friday night around 6pm and was seated promptly, great service and the food was brought to us hot and quick. Very delicious! Highly recommend.
The food was excellent! The service was excellent and the staff were friendly! Will go there again!
Clean restaurant, friendly staff, great food and selection. Seemed a little pricey, but with inflation you never know. Booths are tight if you have a big belly. 😊
Atmosphere was very nice, food & service was excellent. You got a lot for your money! Wish we would have split a meal!
CLASSY & EXCELLENT FOOD!
We love this restaurant. The hand-carved wood booths, the rustic copper sinks in the baños, the old fashioned Hispanic pictures on the walls.
We had the Enchilada Cancun (flour) & Chili Relleos. Soo wonderful.
A wonderful birthday dinner from my husband. ⭐️
Very good food. Friendly service. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back
I have had 2 meals from Vaqueros and they were both awful. Unfortunately I can not remember the specifics of the first but we went in for Mother’s Day lunch and I ordered Arroz con pollo- assuming that should be safe. It was difficult to find the rice – it was a mushy paste and the chicken was more like chicken fajita mix with very little chicken and covered with cheese. The dish was mainly mush with a lot of green peppers and onions. I couldn’t eat it. The only positive was there was no salt added so it wasn’t too salty but really no flavor and just awful.
Traveling thru and our hotel recommended this restaurant. It was VERY good. I had the seafood enchiladas. Very clean, great staff & great food
Red sauce was really bland it had no flavor service and people were great
Best chips and salsa EVER. Pretty much can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Great customer service from the staff too. Not one bad experience here in years.
We ate in the bar with friends. The food was delicious, but seemed to take a while to prepare. Also the server was friendly, but not attentive.
A friend told me about this restaurant. So I drove across town and I really enjoyed my lunch. Nice friendly staff, quick service and reasonable prices. Stop by and try it yourself. I stopped again today and had lunch. The service and food were awesome.
Been here many times and have always had great service and food/drinks. Even when it’s busy, there never seems to be a wait because there is a lot of space. Salsa is bomb!
This place is an up-charge city! Cost me extra to get an empty plate to split food, two refills max on chips, extra tortillas for a dish, and to-go box for leftovers. Came here because I was told the tacos are good (they were alright for the price) and the rest of the menu we tried a three-combo plater was kinda meh. The star that saved the experience was the specials they have one that is different for each day of the week I would recommend, and our waiter was nice enough. If your going to go here just be ready to pay extra on top of your usual taxes and tip…..
Awesome authentic Mexican food. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Fernando. We were there a while ago celebrating family birthdays.
Pretty generic, but decent food. Bar service was incredibly slow for 5pm on a tuesday
I have never seen a Mexican restaurant so expensive before for just average food. I got a huckleberry margarita that had hardly any flavor and I’m not convinced there was alcohol in it. They did provide good and quick service though.
First time in the retaurant today. Great food, Great Menu and nice staff. We will be back!
I made a mistake and ordered what I thought was a veggie enchilada but it actually had lots of veggies and shrimp. My first bite, I noticed a big shrimp and thankfully did not consume any since I am allergic to shellfish. I felt terrible for not noticing but they immediately fixed it and made me the same delicious enchiladas without shrimp! Above and beyond!!! The decor is upscale Spanish influence with very clean restrooms and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!!!
Clean, affordable, and good Mexican food. The atmosphere was nice with good service.
Good authentic Mexican cuisine. Was very happy with the quick and cheerful service. We will be back!
Excellent customer service, great food and drink. Menu has something for everyone. I’m eating here at least once a week!
Spokane is NOT a town for Mexican quisine … this place is remarkably good. Try it! Have the Puerco El Pastor.
Great Mexican food. Really good margaritas. Friendly staff. Portion sizes are good for the price. Very extensive menu selection.
Convent location from our hotel. Clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Friendly staff to our group of 5 adults. Reasonable prices. Good food and salsa! Would go again!
This restaurant is top notch Mexican food! I will just post a photo also make sure you have the house made margaritas and get the large or junbo!
First time eating here and it was a great experience. Had the lunch beef enchilada and tostada and it was so good, everything was so fresh and such good flavor. Love the homemade chips and salsa! It was really busy and the service was excellent!
Staff is always great, love the food and come as often as I can! It’s much better than it’s competition on the other side of the highway for sure.
Average restaurant decor and atmosphere but terrible food. I ordered the Coctel de camarones which I’ve ordered hundreds of times. It’s always come in a delicious red tangy sauce with onions, avocado and spices. Tonight I was presented with salty water tinged red with floating tomato and red onion with a few avocado chunks. Disgusting. $20 too. The chips were fair and the salsa was below average. The price for the food was ridiculously high. I don’t recommend this restaurant.
Wow! We stayed in a hotel nearby and altho I really wasn’t “feeling” Mexican food we decided to try this place out of convenience and I’m so glad we did! We were seated immediately and the chips and salsa showed up right away. We ordered shrimp fajitas that arrived on a sizzling platter and tasted amazing! It came with hot tortillas and some very delicious beans and rice sides with guacamole and sour cream. It was truly some of the best Mexican we’ve had in ages. We have leftovers, too! Service was great. Highly recommend!!
This place was soooo good. They were open until 11 pm which is pretty convenient especially if you are coming from spending all day at Glacier. We got fajitas, steak plate and margaritas. The food was so tasty, flavorful and big portions! Definitely way better than food you find just outside Glacier!! Totally recommend it! Staff also so nice 😊 and fast service!
The service is always great. Very kind host, servers and other staff. The food comes out fast and delicious. I love the cheese dip!! Add jalapeños for that kick! Oh and the bathroom is always clean! A plus!! Bring your friends, it’s a big restaurant.
Love the food but they can’t get a takeout order right for the life of them and they won’t even accommodate you in anyway!
The chicken was horrible. The young man that served us was nice. The first lady that started our service have know idea her problem. The taco shell was stale. Or not sure the taste was not good. It is sad we spend 80 bucks for that. I have been there before and it went pretty good. Will not be back. God bless good luck
We went at time that was off peak hours, the food was fresh and delicious. The menu had a nice variety, but wasn’t overwhelmingly large. Drinks were good and not overpriced. Getting our check was a little slow. Never made to feel rushed.
The fried jalapeños were awesome. Wish I would have asked for a second order.
The price is a bit high, but one plate is two or three meals, so it isn’t too bad when you consider that.
I was in a last minute search of a facility to house a youth football team and families after a Saturday night game. Approximately 100 people around 8pm. We have gone to many places as a team and always expect to wait and be patient. Vaqueros was amazing and blew all of our past experiences out of the water. They were fully staffed, service was wonderful, food was great and drinks were on point. Huge thank you to Fernando and team for having us on only a couple days notice and for taking such great care of the whole bunch of us! Our families all recognized your efforts and we will all definitely be back.
We’ve been waiting to go here for awhile now, beautiful inside, everyone that worked there was very nice, but the food other then a taco, and burrito was very flavorless, especially for the price .
In addition we ordered Pollo la crema, no flavor and very bland, and another dish we sent back, but needless to say we were disappointed after wanting to try this place out for some time now.
But we’ll give it another shot though, hopefully the next time will be better…
Amazing service and food! Restaurant is very clean including restrooms. Portions are huge. Highly recommend.
