The pizza is just amazing we went through all the pizza places in battleground and Detroit is our 1st choice every time

  2. Shane Kalina

The pizza here is delicious. The ingredients are top quality and the staff doesn’t skimp when making a pie.

  3. Darran Cass

We are eating Detroit Pizza more and more. Being busy sucks but it’s the phase of life we find ourselves in. For living in the Battle Ground area Detroit pizza has become a go to for late nights after home improvement projects. When we were younger we would do Cesar or something cheap but these days we’re thankful for a local pizza place that has “real” quality ingredients and pride in their pizzas! Thanks Detroit for continuing to provide BG with a quality pizza for years. Rocky’s was pretty good once but they descended rapidly and now you’re all that is left of good pizza in BG. We love you and we’re thankful for your commitment to the community!

  4. Tyler Smith

Incredible pizza, I’m coming out again

  5. Robert Levy

The wife loved it, I didn’t eat any of it

  6. Lindsey Robison

Delicious! Wings, win! Cheese bread, win! Pizza, win! And the cinnamon dessert pizza, WIN! All around, it is worth the visit!

    Take out and delivery only!

  7. Rob Piche

My pickup order was accidentally given to the wrong customer . awsome staff made my replacement in 6 min.great pizza is worth the wait .

  8. Michael Taylor-Ellis

Long wait. Picked up pizza they said “ the xl pizza deformed in oven” , so they made a smaller pizza to make up for it. Ordered Detroit style pizza. The xl “ deformed “ pizza was actually flat. The smaller pizza was decent. Crust not so great. . Big plops of sauce. All over pizza. . I’m from Detroit, this pizza was a bit disappointing. You call yourself Detroit Pizza but mess up Detroit style pizza.

  9. Brittany Hinkemeyer

We live about 20 minutes from Detroit Pizza but I thought it’s about time to try them out on Friday. By far the best pizza within driving distance from us. Well worth the drive and I will continue to do it. Downside is there isn’t a dining area inside. The staff is so friendly I didn’t want to leave. That’s for being awesome and having fantastic pizza!

  10. Kelly McNiece

Delicious pizza. Delicious delivery seems to be their thing, but there are tables to sit and eat.

  11. Braden Austin

I have had pizza in New York city, and deep dish in Chicago and Detroit Pizza is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Their crust is loaded with flavor and their sauce tastes homemade. The employees are so kind. I accidentally locked ourselves out of our truck and as we waited for the locksmith to come they gave us complementary drinks as we waited.

  12. Chris Bushong

Great pizza and crew. We can’t wait to come back; during the summer, their back patio is open. They have limited seating inside, no beers on tap, but they have the best pizza in Battleground. Check them out, and we recommend your pizza to go or have them deliver.

  13. sharon murphin

More of a take home place in the winter..but the pizza is yummy

  14. Makenna Allan

Best pizza in battleground!! The prices are a little steep, but that’s what you have to pay for quality like this.

  15. John Rich

First time there an I will be going back. Better than Rocky pizza and cheaper

  16. Oliver Andrew G

Best pizza in the Vancouver, Ridgefield, Battle Ground area. I drive all the way here whenever I want pizza. They’re a little pricey but the quality has always been great.

  17. AJ Simmons

Small dining area but staff is very hospitable. They took the time to help us on out first visit. Food was good. Staff was very nice. They use food ingredients that taste fresh. Like pizza, wings, salad and cinnamon sticks.
    Clean restaurant. Lots of teamwork.

  18. Michelle Lacey-Weiker

    We love their pizza!

  19. Gary Martin

We ordered online on a Saturday, about 6pm. When we went to pick up, there were 9 employees working a small kitchen getting it done! Everyone was working hard. This place is popular. Our pizzas were really good. The red sauce was good as well.

  20. Colton Barton

Stopped for lunch, $7.99 for 8 inch pizza two toppings and a soda!

The staff was so nice and made a great pizza. They deserve the business !! Try it out.

  21. Phoenix Exodus

Great pizza place with amazing service. Was quiet when we visited the service was great and quick we enjoyed this place and will return often.

  22. Casey Sharp

Really love this place! Haven’t seen a BLT pizza anywhere since we moved from the east coast. The BLT was absolutely fantastic and I really wanted more after it was all gone!!! I definitely will be back for that bc it was worth every penny spent!! The other pizzas I’ve had here were also extremely good. Definitely a must try if your in the area. Plus the employees are really nice there.

  23. Rebecca Burke

Kids wanted subs but were sick of subway, so we tried Detroit. It was a big hit, teenagers loved it. They already asked if we could go there again.

  24. ken harris

Once again service is absolutely the worst. Called in order to pickup at 6:20. Walked in at 6:22 paid and was told it was ready and he was going to run back and makeup our salad. Walked back in a few minutes later. After walking in and out to check a couple times a girl walks to the front with my salad in her hand and ask if I had anything else. Yes. She then can’t find my pizzas or chicken. I finally walk out at 7:45 with Luke warm pizza. Dried up chicken wings and my salad. $100 down the drain. I would have fired the entire crew if I owned this place. Pizza is delicious but not worth the service.

  25. Christopher Kaufman

Solid pizza joint. Friendly service. Pizza toppings and dough were excellent but not the Detroit style I expected. Seating in patio around back.

  26. John Quamme

Excellent pizza friendly staff I would highly recommend this restaurant

  27. Nathan Pust

Love the pizza and it’s nice they have cauliflower dough as an option. Sat on the back patio next to the fire. It was great.

  28. Dave Terry

Great pizza, best in the area

  29. Grad U.

Good place, great pizza, really friendly staff.

  30. Kasey O. (GlutenFree Paisano)

Hands-down best pizza in the PNW. I love my large two-topping and the Mrs’ devours the medium GF Maui Delight. Yes, you can go basic or try out one there many amazing specialty pizzas. Their cheesy bread deserves an honorable mention, as well. The owners are also very well loved and a staple in this little community town. An amazing establishment!

  31. Sheryl Flournoy

We are new in town! And we’re looking for the best pizza in town. Boy did we find it! We ordered delivery.
The hand tossed crust was tasty and chewy and wow they don’t hold back on the toppings! Hands down best delivered pizza I’ve had since moving up here! Definitely a splurge as far as price. But I’ve noticed the many size options so it can be a weekly treat! We didn’t wait so sorry no pictures!

  32. Mary Jo Haslem

    Awesome pizza, great service!

  33. Christina Dunn Singh

Pricy, but super yummy. Excellent quality and exceptional service. Great gluten free crust.

  34. Sara Blackman

This pizza is SOOO GOOD!!! We tried the Detroit style and a hand tossed crust pizza. They gave us cheese bread for being our first visit. Phenomenal! And the sauce, YUM! Exceptional service and the place was hoppin! (Usually a good sign) Glad we tried this quaint little neighborhood spot. We’ll definitely return from the Westside of Portland.

  35. Courtney Phillips

We placed an order for pick up, the estimated time was not bad and was quoted very accurately!

Even though we live about 25 minutes away, when the pizza got here it was amazing!

I can really taste each individual ingredient as well as the quality of the ingredients. I am very impressed with not only the taste and quality but the cost as well. I feel it is perfectly priced for the product you get!

We will definitely be getting our Friday pizza’s from Detroit Pizza. Thanks to you and your team for doing an awesome job! 🙂

  36. Mission Critical

    Great Pies and Cheesy bread.

  37. Diane Ellison

Joe Luis Knock our favorite to be delivered. Good quality pizza

  38. Bradley Graham

Always great pizza and staff. Love Detroit pizza

  39. Martha E

Joe Lewis is the way to go!

  40. C Arrow

Great pizza but lousy, slow service. The employees are lethargic and apathetic but the pizzas they make are really delicious. Still giving it five stars because lousy customer service with slow employees is a common theme up here in the PNW.

Update: I guess they got better staff or something because the pizza was hot and fresh and on-time and the staff was very friendly. Maybe they fired the slow, lousy service employees. The pizza this time was the best pizza we’ve had in years.

  41. Scott Allen

Wow oh wow!! Absolutely impressed. Pizza hit all the flavor notes. The 2 employees I delt with were friendly and easy to work with. Walked in and ordered at the counter, was ready 20mins flat. Keeping in mind it’s a Monday evening so probably less busy than the weekends. A’s all around!! Thank you.

  42. J T

Super friendly staff. 💯 awesome. Sadly, the pizza was just ok. Also, a little pricey.

  43. Angela Batterton

    Best Pizza in Battleground

This strange little building makes pizza. It’s pretty darn good pizza if I say so myself! In fact it’s the best in Battle Ground, even when Rocky’s decides it knows how to make pizza on a good day. That part of their website is accurate. Unfortunately…

Ordering, obtaining, paying for and subsequently enjoying their food are not amazing experiences. It’s definitely not Detroit-style. You know, deep dish and fluffy, square shaped, cross-cut, burned cheese all over the crust, etc. What it is, on the other hand, is inconsistent regarding the prep time as others have stated. I’ve been twice since moving here in 2021, and those two visits were enough for me. One time I ordered 30 minutes prior, showed up when asked, and waited 30 minutes in the tiny building shoulder to shoulder with other people impatiently checking their watches. The other time I ordered 45 minutes prior. Showed up 10 minutes later than asked (the reviews gave me a heads up this time), and waited 15 minutes in an empty restaurant for my pizzas. Despite all these growing pain problems in a well-established restaurant, it’s also extremely expensive. I believe it’s more meant to compete with the likes of high-tier pizza places like Blind Onion. Blind Onion however has perfect pizza. It’s cheaper, faster, and more consistent than Det. Pizza. If you don’t have the energy to drive to Vancouver or strong desire for the best, but you do have most of an afternoon to wait… Papa Murphy’s is a DEAL.

Sigh… I really struggle to recommend Detroit Pizza. I wish they were at least consistent. Having no way of knowing if you’ll wait 35 minutes or an hour or more for solid, not incredible pizza is pretty frustrating. Then when they ring up your total it’s hard not to feel insulted. I don’t mean to bash them. The pizza really is good! It’s just not worth it. Any of it. The good news is they could pick literally any of the lacking areas I spoke of, fix that, and it would make the place WAY more tolerable. They could cut prices (just do this anyway honestly. They make no sense.), make the pizzas better, or make the pizzas faster and on time for pickup at the indicated time. I hope they can improve because the location is great for us.

  45. James Piccolo

Pizza is really good. It’s expensive but worth it. I wish their website was better. It’s horrible but don’t the let website detour you from their pizza 🍕.

  46. C C

Tried this pizza for the first time and it was good. Good amount of topping. We had extra sauce don’t like dry pizza. Excellent crust!

  47. Fred Rotinski

    Pizza: not bad,I’ve had better
Bread sticks: they were free for being a first time customer, but really on the raw side.
Side of sauce: cool and pasty

  48. Kylee Davis

Omg what a cute and respectful pizza joint!! First time there and they offered us free cheesy bread with our taco pizza. I noticed while waiting for the pizza, they open the door for their clients, and if you’re in the car they can bring it out to you! Definitely recommend!!

  49. Robin Cook

I ordered the Detroit style thinking it would be the best option because it the name of this pizza restaurant. However I was duped. This was worst pizza I’ve ever had. The red sauce was very bland and the crust lacked flavor as well. The meatballs on the sandwich tasted like they were made a week ago. The only thing that was good was the bread sticks. This is unfortunate because I do not like wasting food but to me this pizza was inedible.

  50. Joel Corey

A little crowded in terms of space, but this place has seriously tasty pizza!

  51. Bojangles

Would’ve ordered a delivery and tipped well, but subtotal (before delivery fee & tax) has to be at least $35. Why? Guess I’ll settle with a chain restaurant 😮‍💨
