Portions were fine. Food cooked properly. Was missing condiments . Would of liked some catsup, mayonnaise, mustard sweet n sour relish…help was friendly , place clean… lot of cool signs in the restroom…wish I had time to sit n eat…

This morning we stopped in to grab breakfast on our way to Pullman. When I pulled up about 9am the parking lot was empty. I was expecting a wait or at least a half full dining room. Now to be fair we recently had multiple days of heavy snowfall the conditions outside was cold and icy. We had the place to ourselves for the first 20 mins or so. I ordered the chicken fried-steak and to my surprise it was not your normal frozen in a box variety. It was a real steak breaded and looked as if it was cooked in a cast iron pan. The hash browns and eggs were good but the kicker was the biscuit. Not the heat and serve octagon you see at a lot of breakfast joints. It was dense tasted great and held up the gravy that was poured over the top. The wife loved her breakfast sandwich and mimosa. As this is a short jaunt from Cheney I will be making a return visit in the near future.

If I could give more stars I would! Joni was a wonderful server. If you want the best French dip ever, come here. The decor was so old school and kitschy, SUPER COOL. It was absolutely worth the drive. The Country fried steak was amazing as well. I have never had a Huckleberry mimosa, let me tell you- it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough.

First time I’ve been here in a long time. This is a old school roadside diner. I love the inside decor. Step into this place and you’re stepping into the past. The food isn’t bad. Service was ok. The mozzarella cheese dipper appetizer WAS the best thing on the menu, but it’s not the same now as it used to be. Still a good place. It’s definitely worth checking out! Lot’s of character.

So I just gotta start with saying I live all the way in Spokane and the last three weekends I make the excuse of I’m coming to see my uncle but it’s forsure sure just for the chicken fried steak😂definitely the best around the portions they give you are crazy idk how they expect you to ever eat it all😂the service is absolutely amazing wether you sit down and eat or call your for in to go! They always keep a positive attitude wether they have 500 people in there and are slammed they always make sure you’re fed in a timely manner!

Steaks are cooked to perfection. Sandwiches are made with very fresh rolls. Staff is polite and service is not rushed. Casual to business dress.

Chicken fried steak, clam chowder,French dip, onion rings, salad. All the food was hot and delicious, the salad was very cold and crisp served in a cold bowl which is very appreciated. First time we have stopped there but it won’t be our last, can’t wait to try breakfast

We stopped in late. About the time they should be closing. They had no problem with serving us and the food was great. I recommend the huckleberry shake.

Never too early for a Bloody Mary, lol. I just had a wonderful breakfast at the Harvester in Spangle. Veggy omelet, add sausage.
