   Bonus- music taste 70s and 80s in the background, and sometimes MTV style music videos on the large screen TV above the counter–I’m from gen X 🙂

3. Yum!! I came here with one other person and we dined in. The wait staff was incredibly polite and acknowledged us right away. I interacted with both people that were working and liked them both.

   We each ordered something different, I got the Pho and my friend got the Vermicelli. Both were VERY good! The broth was so delicious. I know everyone has different tastes, but I think this one would suit just about anybody. And the portion sizes were quite large. I got the regular size and a huge bowl came out. And yes I absolutely took the leftovers home and enjoyed the rest of it later.

   I would recommend this place to anyone.

4. When I arrived wasn’t sure if I should sit down or order first at the front counter. I asked the lady and she seemed annoyed by me asking and rushing me. She then walked away to do something else leaving me hanging. The young asian lady behind the counter has a BAD ATTITUDE. I should have walked out but I did order food. The rest of the staff was completely fine. The gentleman brought my food to the table in a takeout styrofoam box to eat in. And mentioned he wasnt sure why they did that but not a big deal. The Vermicelli Salad Bowl wasn’t bad. But I wont be back. The lady definitely needs to treat people better and keep the bad attitude elsewhere.

5. New place never tried it before and had a hankering for pho!!!
   Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a large menu!!!
   Auburn water is not the best so anything you use to make with it has a tendency to not taste very good!!! So the water brought out was not the best which made the tea taste bland and weak!!! I had the steak pho!!!
   The bean sprouts were nice and crisp!!!
   The cilantro was fresh and tasty along with green onions!!!
   The soup base however was weak with not much taste there again I’m sure due to the water!!!
   I still recommend it!!!

8. This place lives up to their name for sure! I’ve been here multiple times and each time was wonderful. Food is delicious, portions are great, quick attention and I just love the atmosphere.

9. One of my favorite Pho spots in all of Auburn! And I’ve tried many. This place is consistently very good. The ambience and service is also top tier.

12. I grew up going to pho places past midnight (the real legit cash only kind of places) so I’ve tasted a good range of broths, and this place makes a top tier broth. You can see how rich the broth looks from the pictures.
    It’s always my go-to when I get sick or feel nauseous. It’s my cure-all feel good food. I would say of all the Pho places Ive been to in Auburn so far, this one’s the best.

    If you don’t know what to get and you’re a meat lover, get their signature P25! It’s automatically a large size bowl, so if you’re calorie counting, you’ll want to split half to go.

    I had to dock one star because I asked for two orders of extra pho broth (which specifically shows 26oz on the receipt) and was left short about 10oz total. Almost a soda can worth of broth. 🙁 Hopefully, they won’t skim on you, too.

    When I opened the lids, the extras had way less broth than the regular large order of pho. So my curiosity was too overwhelming not to measure. Sure enough, the large order had 2 extra oz, but the extra orders had about 6oz less each. IDK, it’s not really a big deal, but I guess I just like the broth so much that missing out on the 10oz they promise is kind of a bummer. 🙁

    The rest is great. Nice people. Cool atmosphere. When you’re done, just pay at the register. Enjoyed the music playing in the background. Place felt clean and comfortable. I’m still coming back.

13. This was our first time trying PHOnomenal. The restaurant is so neatly decorated, clean and the atmosphere is calm, cozy and very welcoming. We were immediately sat down and given our menus and ordered drinks! We ordered a large steak & brisket pho, steak pho and 1 meatball pho with gyoza on the side. The pho was delicious the broth was so rich in flavor and they are VERY generous with the amount of meat they put in the pho I was surprised! You definitely get your moneys worth. We have definitely found our new pho spot 😁

15. Pretty good. The coffee was very sweet, but then again what do you expect from a pho restaurant that has “TERIYAKI” in allcaps in its name.

    Portions and prices were good.

16. I recently discovered this placed and it was going to be my new place to get food! Unfortunately they increased the price on all the items without any added incentives. I will no longer go here, you can find the same food for cheaper. If you don’t mind the extra charge then the food is really good 👌 I hope they update the menu cards as they are inaccurate to the prices posted online.

17. I always feel welcome and love rocking out here. Great soft tendon, savory flank cuts, big side orders of my favorite cuts. I’m always treated very kindly with a smile here. The TV with music videos makes this place a little bit more special and fun.

20. Favorite !! Regular even through the rebuild, anticipated the grand opening and treat ourselves a couple times a month esp if it’s too late to cook.

21. Best pho place hands down !! This has been my go to spot for a little over a year ! Customer service is on point ! Staff are always attentive and friendly ! Pho is amazing , great broth and rich flavor Everytime !

    UPDATE: came back April 18th around 8pm . The new female server had a bad attitude I don’t know if it was because she was tired or just had a bad day .. which I can understand but don’t take it out on your loyal costumers . She wasn’t very pleasant or attentive at all . However the food was still good as usual.

22. Worst teriyaki I’ve ever had.
    I had beef teriyaki and it was very chewy old , texture was like dried beef jerky, never coming back again

24. I was in this institution today! I really liked everything, pho soup, veal teriyaki! everything is very tasty! I recommend this institution! inside is clean, neat, tidy! I really liked it here! I will go here 100%!

26. Had the Spicy Chicken and Beef Teriyaki. Glad I did! Rice was ok, probably the last of it. The presentation was nice, they mixed the chicken and beef which I liked. Salad dressing was on point. Worth-it portion size.

27. I will not recommend this place. They will not even make an attempt to modify the food even a simple thing. I ordered kid pho for my son and asked to replace the meat with whatever veggies they can, and they wouldn’t do it. Instead they offered the adult vegetarian pho which is more expensive. So to avoid food wasting I ended up ordering plain kid pho but my son said it’s too salty so he only ate one bite. Also, the tofu in the tofu sandwich is unseasoned, so it tasted so bland. No other seasoning on the table except sriracha and hoisin sauce. Overall it’s not a good food. While we were there, there is a customer who picking up to go order, who complained about the service and/or charge to the cashier. The other staff who was there attending a table (I think it’s the owner or manager) kept answering and giving reasons, while Serving a table, and talking a cross the room, without offering apology. So the costumer left and seems upset. He is the same staff who said they can’t replace the meat in kids pho with any veggie. Overall the food is not good and I will not recommend this place to anyone unless they change how they treat customers. Hope this review helps to improve their customer service and awareness that other customers are paying attention to how they are treating customer and somehow will have either positive or negative impact. 28. I’ve eaten here 5 times and all 5 times it has been AMAZING! The atmosphere, the friendly staff, the portions, the flavors, the PRICES!! The one star reviews must be trolls because there’s no way! The prices here are underpriced in today’s economy and inflation! I’ve been to pho places where a Large is at least 15+, for people to say this place is overpriced is just trolling. It’s so nice to hear when they’re out of something because they deserve all the business and welcome here. Obviously if you come in during rush hour, it’ll take them longer because they’re serving a bunch of customers at once with their small staff. I’ve come in both during rush hour and off hours and both times have been amazing regardless. Everything tastes so flavorful and fresh compared to the other pho places around here. The pho, the vermicelli, the banh mi; absolutely amazing. Can’t say about the Teriyaki since I come here to experience the PHO in PHOnomenal. A great and wonderful addition to the community!!
