Pizza was great! This is a very small, basically take-out only place. They have 3 tables and a bench so plan on take out. They don’t have wings or anything but pizza, but it was very good!

I’m from an Italian town, and really missed good pizza, then I found this! Best pizza in a long time!!!

  3. Casey Thompson

Surprised when we found this little gem tucked away on a back street. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Salad was fresh. Pizza was delicious. Nothing to complain about.

  4. Sheila Peick

Pizza was delicious! Employees were excellent!

  5. Ric Shirrod

Great people. They timed it perfectly to remove it from the oven as I was walking in the door.
And it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in quite a few years.

  6. Ms Zoe Zoo

Best pizza we have ever had! Love that they are open more often and better hours.

My wife and I strolled by late about 5 minutes before close, we always feel bad keeping people late but the owner insisted it was ok to come in and eat in a most welcoming hospitable manner. Th Chicken Piccata blew my mind. I have never had such a well balanced seasoned dish with vegetables cooked with the same love as filet mignon. This is top level gourmet FRESH tasting Italian, even the dinner salad may have been one of the best I have ever had. If you like Italian just go there , you will not be disappointed! If you don’t like Italian food, you may still want to give it a try, it is just that darn good! Also, as a side note, my wife had a vegetarian roasted butter nut squash meal she thought was spectacular as well, so vegetarians can enjoy here as well!

As someone who has lived and worked on four continents, I have socialized and dined all over the world which has made me quite a discerning foodie.

I currently live in Switzerland and was recently visiting friends and family near the cute little town of Republic where I discovered a hidden gem called 18 North Kitchen and Bar in the midst of gorgeous Pacific Northwest splendor.

It’s one of the places you’ll always want to keep coming back to no matter the distance. While passing through I manage to eat at this restaurant a couple of times because I was drawn back for the scrumptious food, delightful hospitality and tasty cocktails.

While there, I was lucky enough to chat with the chef who graciously came out of the kitchen to entertain my myriad of questions (I always have questions especially as a competent and curious cook myself.) It was evident the chef takes great pride in what he sends out of the kitchen and the wait staff are friendly and eager to please as well. The bartender was also equally attentive in wanting to stir up libations to perfection.

It’s reasonably priced for the quality that is provided and everything on the menu is tempting. I wish I lived in town just so I could try everything.

I spent $70 today for a dinner and a BLT. The pulled pork don’t even come with bread?! And a half a cup of coleslaw for $70 NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND MY MONEY ON THEM. RIPOFF

We had excellent service and fantastic food. Look forward to eating there again.

  17. Lake Shop

Wonderful food better service. Cant say enough about how they were accomodating our 8 person group with no forewarning. Definatly going to stop by again.

Loved this place! Ate here twice when we stayed for the weekend. Food was delicious and they were very careful with food allergies. Had vegan and vegetarian options as well. Staff is super friendly also.

Outstanding food for a reasonable price. We have been here several times when we come to town and every meal has been a unique experience. Today wa no exception, the scramble was perfectly cooked with peppers and potatoes just right

    Great food. Greater staff.
18 North is truly a breath of fresh air and a very welcomed place in Republic. Be sure to check out all of their varied events going on weekly.

And ask them about their special dog meals and bandana!

I am only contributing to warn folks passing through as we wish we would have been warned coming out of a 4 day camping trip and seeing this well rated establishment.

My wife and I spent roughly 50 bucks on the weakest coffee I have ever had, cold eggs benedict (with no side and grocery store English muffins), and a tofu dish that consisted of large cut cubes (i.e. how people that don’t eat tofu prepare tofu) and undercooked potatoes. It took over 20 minutes and was not only overpriced and bland, but not at all filling. We don’t require a very large breakfast to feel full, but this was a snack. I was also not about to drop more dough on another plate (think: tapas style). We ended up getting more food and coffee elsewhere.

The only thing nice I can say is that we didn’t feel ill afterward (we were actually wondering if we had been foolish for not sending it back and leaving for this reason and felt relieved once out of the food poisoning window). This is one of the few times I felt had at a restaurant (most others were at the airport). If this is not just exploitation of the current market and of tourists passing through, I hope this place reconsiders the value placed on the customer because there was too much going wrong here to be a one off, and that’s with me being nice enough not to detail the service (not unkind, just disorganized and inattentive).

This place is an oasis of awesome that popped up near the Canadian border! The food is PERFECT. And FRESH! Most people just throw peas in a dish without a thought. Somehow, in the middle of winter, the peas they throw on their salads tastes like they just picked it out of the garden. Everything is made with love and attention. Their restaurant has perfect decor, with art from phenomenal local artists. The owner is amazing and cares for her staff. The open Mike night is fun and she opens up the area for crafters and gamers and kids. How wonderful to find such a happy, open and friendly place in the coldest of winters💖

I recently moved up here from Los Angeles to be closer to my family, and was quite happy to find this place. I had the pastrami reubin, chicken noodle chorizo soup, blood orange hard cider, and poppy seed lemon cake.

The soup was good, if anything I would have like to have tasted more of the chorizo (but thats just my personal preference). The Reuben was fantastic; not too salty, and plenty of saurkraut! And, they make sure that the sauekraut is squeezed out so that the lovely toasted dark rye stays nice and crunchy.

The poppy seed lemon cake was awesome-good lemon flavor, only lightly sweet, and very smooth creamy icing.

The blood orange hard cider was the perfect accompaniment – I had two glasses as I wasn’t driving.

The owner is quite friendly, and as a newcomer to the town, I was made to feel welcome. I’m looking forward to going back and trying the fire house chicken, which I am told packs some serious heat.

Parking: Parking on the main street was easy on a Saturday around noon.

Dietary restrictions: I did find out they don’t serve shellfish or peanuts to help accommodate customers that might have that allergy.

Amazing vegan options and great service, Lisa!

We enjoyed dinner celebrating our 33rd Anniversary. I can’t give a high enough review. 5 stars doesn’t give justice! The entire staff are friendly, engaging, and efficient. Nice relaxing atmosphere. We received our order in a timely manner. The food is the star! Delicious homemade soup(we had the potato), excellent cesar salad(large portion) then came the bang bang cauliflower appetizer! OH man you gotta get it!
We shared the ribeye dinner entrée. Potatoes were creamy and luscious, ribeye cooked perfectly. Nicely marbled and so flavorful. Not to forget a nice serving of perfectly prepared fresh roasted veggies. The homemade bread with whipped real butter was fabulous . Wrap it up with house made apple cake for dessert. Make the beautiful drive to Republic JUST to eat at 18 North Kitchen & Bar!!!

We celebrated our 33rd Anniversary with dinner. The ambiance was delightful. The staff were friendly engaging and efficient. The food was FANTASTIC! We had Bang Bang Califlower. You’ve GOT to try it AMAZING! Then we had the Potato soup. As an Irish woman who knows how to makes a killer potato soup, this was delicious. Then we shared the ribeye entree. The mashed potatoes were creamy and seasoned perfectly. The Riley was cooked just as we liked, beautifully marbled and SO flavorful. The roasted veggies and homemade bread with whipped butter finished a perfect meal. Then we topped it all off with a delicious house made apple cake for dessert. You must make the beautiful drive to Republic Wa to eat at 18 North Kitchen & Bar!

It’s great to have some gluten-free options. Cocktails and cider options rounded out a great burger. Owner Lisa is very nice.

  30. Jamie Greene

Excellent service and fantastic food. We ordered Eggs Benedict, Reuben Sandwich, Ceme Brulee, Key Lime Pie. Everything is fresh and made in house, no cheating with mass chemically produced product. The price was reasonable especially for the quality. This is a place that is a must when in or passing through Republic

This is my guilty pleasure spot. I’m from the coast, recently moved up here. I’ve worked in multiple restaurants including high end in Seattle. My favorites are the Reuben, chicken and waffles, and cauliflower bites. Yum. I’ve eaten at other restaurants here and the food quality just does not even come close. I’ve worked as a cook, prep cook, waitress, and hostess. I have a nasty habit of when I go out to eat, I’m very critical. Like to think of myself as the second store Gordon Ramsey. Lol. Anyway one improvement I would make is the burgers, I’ve noticed something about the burgers at all restaurants here, they just don’t have that BAM to them. I’ve noticed they don’t really salt their food which is just fine with me because some people cannot have too much salt. Other than the burgers, I would suggest in future a more savvy eggs Benedict. Maybe tofu soaked in a sauce with then some sautéed mushrooms and Carmelized onions instead of ham. Love this place, people are great. This place has the highest potential of all the restaurants.

  32. Dan Smith

    Love this place

  33. Gaelin Arbios

The candied apple pork chop meal was full of flavor. Loved the variety in the side salad and that you could do portion control w this meal.
A married couple played guitar and sang. This is never my favorite dinner accompaniment but this couple was excellent and we stayed late to listen.
    Would strongly recommend this restaurant.

  34. Donna Willy

Very tasty dinner. Lovely lemon cake and we had gentle wonderful singers while we ate.

  35. Nora Cramer

Good place for breakfast on Sunday! Delicious food and friendly (if a little disorganized) staff. They had gluten free bread (+ $2/3) and corn tortilla options! We got a side of their breakfast potatoes to go for later because they were so good!

  36. Danyelle Warner

What a treat! Great Reuben and Ferry Cheesesteak sandwiches. Try their brulee cheesecake! Service was excellent and team was working very efficiently and kindly during a very busy Saturday night including running orders to the brewery next door! Definitely a must stop when visiting Republic!

  37. Mike Marthaller

Caught them just before closing. Cook was rushed so ???
    People were curtious

  38. Takiko May

We stopped here for the fido-friendly outdoor seating. The chicken chimichurri rolls were delicious, as was the Rainbow Bowl (veggies, grain, chick peas). Service was great, and they even have a fido bowl with chicken or beef and veggies. Very happy with our experience!

  39. Kevin ferrell

Awesome experience. Wonderful team and the best Ruben I’ve eaten in many years. The burgers and fries got 2 thumbs up. Tomato soup was awesome. Definitely a do over for our family. Special thanks to kieth for recommending this establishment.

  40. Roman Zawodny

Amazing food here and super friendly service as well. Ordered 2 hamburgers with fries n side salad 👍🏼✨

  41. Eric Jain

Some dishes were excellent, others were clearly still in the process of being figured out, but the staff was great, and it’s nice to have options in town other than burgers and burritos!

  42. Kiernan Huggins

Great vegetarian/vegan options for some hungry PNT hikers 😁. Thank you!
