So glad this place opened. We needed a great ramen house!
This is some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. Those dumplings were also absolutely fantastic. We all shared some our broth’s and it was amazing all of them. It was creamy the texture was great the flavor was fantastic. I’m coming back again. One of the guys was really quite but he seemed really sweet. Everyone was nice and the people in the back sounded like they were having a good time too.
What an amazing lunch! Five is us sure here, getting a few different dishes, here was what we got and how it tasted.
✅ Black Garlic Tonkontsu: Very good! This is a mild flavored garlicky soup that is in Tonkontsu, which is a broth boiled with pork bones for a very long time. It’s not super salty, the ramen noodles are quality and firm. I got extra boiled vegetables in it which I thought gave it a good medium flavor.
🥣 Shoyu Chashu Ramen: Strong pork flavor, slightly salty from the soy. We are rice vinegar to balance the flavor out. Pretty good.
🥣 Curry Katsu Don (1-pork & 1-chicken): Excellent if you like Japanese curry, which we do. Lots of thick curry with strong flavors of ginger, from the pickled ginger extras. With the rice this is a heavy filling dish, very tasty.
✅ Service was good, only one guy serving a ton of people but it was decent time to get the food and he was super polite, impressive actually!
Highly recommend this to try if you like ramen or the like.
Such delicious food, you can tell they really care about their product! Everything was so fresh and there was so many great options for drinks as well, can’t wait to come back!
Fresh and place gets crowded so the food actually is being made fresh to order
Yummy ramen and the spicy pepper oil sauce is fire! We always leave satisfied.
The ramen was surprisingly good. The broth wasn’t too salty and had a good flavor. Good quality ingredients. The scallion pancakes were fantastic!
Delicious!!!!
Food was decent
1/30/2024: Not many ramen options in the Olympia area and this place is a gem. They offer shoyu, miso, and tonkotsu ramen. Donburi bowls and small plates. Very nice menu.
Service was prompt and attentive. The two of us ordered Agedashi tofu, shrimp tempura, shoyu chashu ramen, tonkotsu ramen, and a couple of Sapporo beers. We were very satisfied.
Loved that the agedashi tofu had loads of katsuoboshi! Sooo yummy. Both ramen broths were delicious and came very hot. The shoyu broth was so clean and the tonkotsu rich and flavorful. Noodles were cooked just right and a good variety of toppings. Pricing was reasonable.
Been here with my family twice and just gotta say this place has the best ramen in Olympia!
The best part they have homemade chili oil that they serve with the ramen and you can buy a jar.
My kiddo loves this place!
My favorite in the area hands down.
Great Ramen ^-^
Very good place. Clean, friendly staff good food.
Found this place and have fallen in love with its Ramen, Milk Tea, and Tokoyaki. Great tasting food at great prices.
I’ve been to a few ramen places, but I will hands down call this my Favorite!!!! It’s so good and flavourful
Excellent food. We had chicken katsu don and pan fried gyoza both great. We were a little pressed for time, and they got our food and bills to us in good time.
Just came home from a three week trip in Japan and this was very similar to what we had there. So so yummy (^з^)-☆
Staff is always very pleasant and attentive. Food is consistent and delicious. Shrimp tempura was the star!
Recommend!
Excellent menu!! Reasonable prices. The soup is hot like soup should be. Quality ingredients and super capable friendly staff. 5+++ ✨s
Absolutely the best ramen I have ever had. I’ve tried several ramen places in Washington and this was without a doubt the best. We had a group of 6 showed up at lunch time and were seated within 15 minutes. Food was excellent. The black garlic tonkotsu is what I had and it was delicious. They have a house made chili oil that is not for the faint of heart but is also delicious. I will make a point to stop in there any time I’m moving through and it’s within an hour of my route.
Went to Shipwreck Beads and came here after. Had the Chicken Katsu Don and it was delicious! Excellent service. Will definitely come here again!
When I walked in….the person behind the counter from across the room behind the counter held up a menu as if I was ordering to go as I was waiting to be seated?! …I asked if I could have a table ( one person) …seated myself…..The quality of your ramen has gone downhill huge!!!..when I first experienced Cube in Puyallup.. the ramen was amazing!! Then found your Lacey location….Now….$15 for undercooked ramen …one piece of pork…half an egg…3 pieces of bamboo shoots, maybe 5 or 6 strands of bean sprouts….it’s literally broth and noodles….sad….I will never be back!
Fantastic!
Nothing to say but you should go eat here
This place was incredible. The dumpling dough was soft and fresh. The ramen broth wasn’t super salty, it was perfectly seasoned and creamy. The katsu don bowl was delicious. They used a good quality cut of meat and the breading wasn’t greasy.
You can taste the quality and care they put into their food and also feel it. My partner and I ate more than we should have but we felt great afterwards.
To top things off, the waitress genuinely inquired if there was anything we would’ve changed/unhappy about the dishes we were served. I struggled to find a single thing, everything was perfect. This left an impression on us as we both agreed we’ve never been asked this question. We could tell there was a lot of love and passion put into this restaurant.
Best Ramen around! Highly recommend this place.
This was our first time in. Food was excellent, and the service was good. Very nice, accommodating staff. We had fried shrimp as an appetizer… perfectly tender, not oily or greasy, in light panko flakes. We each had someone different, and tried new foods (did not know that bamboo could be food, and tasty, too). We will definitely be returning, and recommend to others. We were stuffed after only eating half of our meals, so we brought home our leftovers. Each entree we had was $15.50, but it is definitely two meals’ worth of food. Delicious!
