We have been to the George’s restaurant several times. Decided to have our party catered this weekend…great choice and a definitely a winner with our friends! Gyros (lamb and chicken) and salad were served for 28 guests. Great food and service. Glad we have it in Battle Ground.
Great quality and price, the sides could be a little more generous. Nice atmosphere with the Friday live music. The lamb was wonderful. The service started a little rough (inexperienced), but improved through the evening. A very nice evening out restaurant. I’ll be back.
Wonderful food! Great service! Lemon soup, Rack of Lamb, Fillet Mignon, Lemon Potatoes. All great flavors!
Amazing food! They have recently reopened after the passing of George the owner, but the staff assured us that the son is keeping everything just as his father had done.
The rack of lamb was amazing as was the Avgolemono. (Greek lemon soup) Live music started about 6pm Saturday night!
Simply a great find in Battle ground!
One of my go-to places. Go when you want to slow down and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
They are serving real Greek food, cooked to perfection. I almost always order 1/2 rack of lamb. I grew up eating lamb and too often restaurants do it poorly. Here they do it right, it is the best I’ve ever had.
The owner is the second generation to own/operate Molon Lave and he is doing a good job carrying on the traditions.
Vegetarian options: If you look through their menu you’ll find a few options. My vegetarian friends always are happy to join us there.
It was 1hr to close when we arrived and the staff was so sweet.
For the appetizer we got the dip platter. Very good bread & dips.
My 4yo daughter wasn’t wanting food when we ordered so the waitress suggested gyro meat & orzo pasta for her and she ended up loving it!
6yo got the Pastistio and she loved that as well.
I got the lamb leg, my husband got the pork chop.
Both meats were so tasty & tender. We especially liked the lamb.
We would recommend ordering the potatoes over the fries, if you don’t like strong flavors you may not like the potatoes! But we loved them.
Next time I want to try the Moussaka & the flame cheese appetizer!
I’ll bet this place is awesome in summer but it’s cold in winter!! Rather dull atmosphere…greek wine is terrific…food was OK. Wanted rack of lamb got chops…but they were tasty… tib eye steak was not a good cut of meat..disappointing…will try again next summer
Great little restaurant tucked away in Battleground. Light and airy with great music. We had saginaki (which is my favorite!!), tahziki, & hummus for appetizers, and then gyros. 1 with fries and the other with a Greek salad. Everything was delicious, even the fries. I highly recommend this place!
Handed a few items to go. Everything was excellent. We Will be back again
Very good Greek food. Get there early because certain specialties run out! Casual atmosphere. Limited wine menu, but it complements the food.
I have been here with my friends and cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is authentic, filling, and makes you feel good. Would recommend for anyone looking for good food in a secluded, quiet, and peaceful area.
AMAZING chicken gyro!
Food was delish! Definitely will be back and if you haven’t eaten here honestly you’ve missed out!
Best Greek food in area. Expect a leisurely and fun experience. Greek music on Fridays and Saturdays.
