The Grilled Ham & Cheese is to die for.
They will give you a lot of food. The burger meat it kinda average, but they will load you up with toppings. Sandwiches are big. The onion rings were greasy buy tasted good. Milkshakes are good – try the huckleberry shake. Our server was excellent and food came super fast. The place is overall run down; there are holes in the booth seats, for example. Don’t expect high class. As I type this review the next morning, I can tell I ate too much as I am still digesting that burger 12 hours later.

I absolutely love this eaterie, they food is amazing. The cheese curds are to die for, perfectly balanced garlic an mozzarella cheese an breading. They really concentrate on the quality of the food an the care of their customers. This is a great place to get lunch during the work week, it’s fast fresh an delicious.
Expected a little bit bigger of a shake for the $ it was gone before I got home less than a mile away. It was good though
The passive aggressive hangry attitude from our server was hilarious and the service was super quick I loved it, the fries were very good and I love the chicken strips. My bf got the cowboy burger and loved it, ate every bite and said it was one of his favorite new burgers. Quick service, friendly server with a great vibe It felt like eating breakfast at home with all my siblings and mom yellin at us to calm down and eat our food lol I loved it. 10/10 felt like home

Good food. Excellent service. Quaint atmosphere. And the waiter noticed my husband’s patch on his jacket and gave us a Military Discount without us even having to ask!!! This is a small restaurant (7 tables), but the food was good!!! The benches could use a refresh, but nothing’s perfect. The cook made my eggs right!!! I’m very picky about my eggs
We had a great lunch at Hangry’s! The place is pretty small but bustling. The servers were very friendly and on top of our table. Good burger and sandwiches! We will definitely be back for more!

I tried going here for the first time on a Sunday for breakfast/lunch. That was a mistake. They were so crazy busy with To Go orders I went had to go somewhere else. So later on went to dinner on a Monday night. Much better. Awesome burger and very friendly staff. Next Sunday, I’m going much earlier to try it out.
I suppose it’s time I updated my review and my position on this place. Previously it’d been issues with food quality or sides. It was never about the people because the are as nice as can be. They’ve also made great strides on their speed and order accuracy. We’re becoming regulars here and for good reason. The consistency of the product that they’ve become our go to for a big greasy burger (and I say that with affection). Best part is that their kitchen can and WILL do a medium rare burger!! They’re even starting to make interior improvements, updating and cleaning up the place.
Moved here from CA & we found a great burger place to take the place of In n out! The burgers were cooked perfectly. Fries were spot on and just as good as In n out. We got the Grumpy Burger & the Bacon Cheeseburger. Great place !!

This diner is cozy, and staffed by skilled and hilariously sassy waitresses. The menu options are classic diner, with surprising twists. For example I had a Reuben, and the sauerkraut was called pepper kraut, and contained pickled mild peppers. The pastrami was great, with extra black pepper and less fat than typical. I had sweet potato fries, which were a little al dente, and my husband had the hand-battered onion rings. Those were delicious, with plenty of seasoning in the batter so that no dipping sauce was needed. The portions were big.
I went here last weekend and ordered a BLT and it was the best, juiciest ,flavorful sandwich EVER!! I am very pleased but I also ordered the French Toast and it was so good I highly recommend.Only problem is that it has no bathroom and is very tiny. It also gets packed around 5:00 pm for dinner
Very good food. Prices are comparable to just about anywhere else. Very small indoor seating space, but they have outdoor seating as well.

Our server was phenomenal, great attitude and kept checking on us. Our flavored lemonade kept getting refilled without having to ask. Our food was delicious!!! Onion rings were made with homemade beer batter….mmm. I had the Eldorado burger…so yummy. GF had the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich. She loved it! And her daughter had a crispy chicken burger. She really loved her fries.

Really good food and also good serving size. I get very frustrated with portion size at any restaurant especially ones with good food; all the meals were of good size, I am a man and I am full. No issues with service, very friendly. Small space inside but able to accommodate larger party of 7-10, plus 3 or 4 more booths for smaller parties, outside seating too. I’m really glad they opened up, will be back. 🙂

Absolutely amazing customer service I had the chicken pesto sandwich and everything was fresh and had excellent flavor, the loaded fries were to die for and when you pay the bill you get a handshake and a thank you for coming in. Hangry’s is

They were so accommodating to my Dairy allergy and the food was amazing. They went out of their way to make me a special sauce without dairy in it, and the server was so so wonderful.

Stopped in on our way home to the tri-cities. Didn’t know what to expect, but they really exceded all expectations. The staff was very nice and attentive to my family. We got the bbq bacon burger, the hangry burger and the grumpy burger. They were all amazing! We also got the fried zucchini and it was perfectly cooked. Will be visiting again!

First time getting food from Hangry’s, was not disappointed! We had 2 Hangry Burgers w/O Rings Mine was done to medium as requested & very flavorful! I gave 4 stats just because I felt the O-rings could have been better. They were ok unsure if it was because of takeout. But I’ll try the fries next time.
I got the Hangry Burger with onion rings. It was absolutely delicious 😋 I couldn’t eat all of the burger in one sitting. That’s a 1st. It was my first time trying Hangry’s. I recommend trying it out if you have a big appetite. It was kinda expensive but everything is now.
This place is GREAT!! The staff are amazing and makes your visit fun. Even have toys for kids to play with. The friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Yes it’s a small place, but I’d pickup food as well. Oh and let’s talk about the food (as I’m kissing my fingers to the air) it’s delicious. You get plenty of food. A great variety of meals. Heck I couldn’t finish my sandwich, which was delicious. My 2 yr old ate from my plate and I wasn’t charged for a child’s portion. He even loved the food. Especially the French fries. If I could give them a 10 star review I’d do it in a heartbeat.

So freaking good!! I got the guac it out with grilled chicken instead of crispy. The sour dough was on point. My dad got the Rueben and enjoyed it too. The server was on top of everything and very pleasant. We sat outside because we had our dog and he brought her water without us even having to ask. If we ever come back to Spokane we’re definitely going again.

It was a busy afternoon, but for the order to have none of what the people had asked for, including a heart condition patient requesting no salt on their food. It was not regarded at all. Dietary needs are a necessity, not an option. Probably not going back, even if the cheese curds are unique.
I’ve been to Hangry’s twice now – once as a dine-in for breakfast, and earlier this week for lunch/takeout. Breakfast was extremely hearty and delicious: my in-laws have asked about dining here again multiple times since! This time I tried the Smokehouse Brisket Burger (pictured) complete with grilled onions and coleslaw. All the BBQ goodness in one sandwich. The female worker who handed me my order was so nice and even called me “sweetheart,” and my meal was ready within several minutes of placing it online! They even sent a text when it was ready for pick-up.
Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for hearty, comfort food. Right off Pines and Trent.

Everyone in there is top off line the only… repeat only thing negative I see I the lack of tables but….that could be a bonus too 50/50. The food is always on point! The pulled pork grilled cheese is so cravable it has brought us back 3 times alone! Tuesdays, kids eat free off the kids menu, making this an attainable indulgence for my family!

A little pricey but good food
Hangry’s popped up while I was browsing GrubHub, so decided to check it out in person. The space is very “cozy”, just a few tables and booths; but it has that old time neighborhood diner feel.
I ordered the Portobello Blue Cheese burger, nice big pieces of mushroom, bacon, and a blue cheese sauce that completely blows away the offering from certain red-breasted bird chain burger joint.
My brother ordered the Hangry burger, and it was huge. Two patties, ham, bacon, and egg – he only ate half.
The fries were equally good. They’re not the double-fried type you get at fast food places, but single fried. That means you don’t get the crispy outside; but they remind me of the hand cut fries/wedges we used to make ourselves as kids. Get them loaded with bacon and cheese.
Overall, a great experience. Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu, breakfast next time.
The waitress was awesome, gave wonderful service. And the food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never reviewed anywhere I’ve gone but my experience was so great here I had to. It’s the best little diner I’ve encountered so far. Highly recommend!

One of the best burger joints in America, I wanted to order one of everything on the menu and it was so good I might have been able to eat them all in one sitting.
These are some of the best burgers in town. Love the hangry’s sauce. I don’t usually like onion rings, but these were absolutely delicious — as other reviews said, they melt in your mouth. The fries were also perfectly cooked and very fresh. Highly recommend.

Amazing food
Ok. So my first time here, and I saw a picture on the window of something with country gravy all over it. I’m like “What is that!?!” And my wife tells me it’s Chicken Fried.Steak. So, I’m naturally blown away that I found out that a burger joint has a breakfast menu. When I come to, we go in, and I I just gotta try this breakfast. My wife orders the deep fried pickles, and we wait. We get our food moments later, and start digging in. Like Emeril….BAMMMM!! I bite down and hear that crunchy sound, and the flavor hits like Mike Tyson. When I come to, I cut off a piece for my wife to try. She enjoyed it as much as I. I still haven’t tried the burgers yet, but I’m betting they are pretty good. And the slew of appetizers just tops off the greatness. Good job, Hangry’s!! 5 stars

Well I went there last Saturday to get some of the Great food Hangrys has to offer to bring home. I’ve heard nothing but good about them and thought I’d give it a try. The Burgers were great! I ordered a Mushroom Swiss Burger and a Grumpy Burger, ( They both came with fries)..they were just as good as I had heard..but I also ordered 2 orders of the Beer Battered Onion rings…sadly disappointed..one order was so burnt the were actually black, the other order was partially raw and barley fried….for the $50 I paid I’m sorry to say majorly dissatisfied…

OMG! We ate at Hangry’s for the first time tonight, and the food was DELICIOUS! There were 3 of us, and we all ordered different meals, and all 3 of us were completely happy with our meals! It was one of those meals that, after every bite, I said, Yum!” I’d definitely recommend Hangry’s to anyone!

The food was delicious. The service pleasant, attentive, and done well. The place is small, so a bit noisy even though there weren’t many folks. It was also a bit dirty, especially the floors. The rest room was outside and around the corner and it was dirty. If the staff could be cleaning between customers instead of doing nothing it would fix that.

They messed up the order in multiple ways and I was charged different prices than what was on the menu. Spent over $150 for the order and only one of the five people was okay with what they received. One example out of the many were the garlic fries. Online menu said 8.29, in-house menu said 9.99, but I was charged 13.49. When I called in they told me one order of garlic fries would feed 4 people but when we got the food home (we did takeout) there was less fries than some people got with their burger.

I love the cute little hole in the wall feel and the food was great. Shout out to the pancakes and chicken fried steak being amazing standout offerings. The thing that really made this place shine is definitely the service. Our waitress was amazing friendly and really tried to make you feel like you were at home or a friend’s place for breakfast. Just note, as a Canadian, the portion sizes were huge. Our family of 4 ordered 2 meals and split it between the 4 of us and still had some leftovers. We also think the hashbrowns could use something to kick up the flavour a bit as compared to the rest of the meal they felt a bit wanting.

My daughter and I tried Hangry’s based on the reviews. They did not disappoint. The burger was fresh and cooked as ordered. Their handmade onion rings are some of the best in the Spokane area. We have two suggestions, the bun on my burger was not toasted which made the bun absorb all the juice and condiments and fall apart so I would toast the buns. 2nd, the garlic fries were over soggy with garlic oil to the point of no longer being crisp at all. These may have been one off issues of the day. Servers were attentive and kind. The chefs did put out some good food. I will certainly return with the rest of the family soon.
I came in to get some food locally. This was my first at this place and it was pleasant. The dining area is small inside but they also have outdoor seating available. The food was good, I will have to come back and get lunch sometime. The portions here are larger. The pancakes are reccomend after having some my-self.
Best hangover food ever
Food was super good, burgers juicy, and menu is pretty original all things considered. My burger was piled high with pastrami, cheese, and peppercinis. Wife had a burger with cheese curds. Butterscotch shake to top it off. Super good food all around.

The Guac it Out is one of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Every part- the fried chicken, candied bacon, spicy guac, sliced provolone and sour dough bread- is perfectly made, bringing together absolutely delicious flavors. The restaurant is small “hole in the wall” places, but aren’t those often the ones with the best food? Place is clean and the service is excellent.

If you want to eat inside, you may have a wait as they only have like 7 tables. Well worth the wait. The burgers are fantastic. We had breakfast and it was very good too.
There’s a lot of hype around this place but the food was nothing special. The fries were soggy and WAY over salted, the chicken strips tasted like they were frozen Tyson strips, the burger was large but didn’t have the magic I thought it would, and the shake I couldn’t get through after I found black chunks inside stuck to the cup. Overall take your money elsewhere!

My absolute favorite burger place in all of WA so far!! The burgers are great, the atmosphere is cute and comfy, and the staff are really nice and not corporate. The service is also really fast every time I’ve gone.
Had the bacon cheeseburger, cooked just as I asked for. Fries are thin cut , yet cooked will, not to crispy. Tha gal at the counter was very nice. If you haven’t been there yet, give it a try, will worth going.

Being from out of town, we go by other reviews to try new places. We pulled into the parking area, wondering what we were getting ourselves into. This small place is amazing. I had a chicken pesto burger with fries and salad. Husband had another kind of burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake. Both meals were delicious and more than we could eat. The waitress had a great and fun personality. It’s not fancy, but it’s the food you are there for. If we are ever in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
I’ve been wanting to try them for years. Unfortunately I think I played them up too much in my head. The burger was bland even with jalapeno and pineapple on it. Totally unseasoned and disappointing despite an attractive appearance. I got the coleslaw and it was sooo bland and wasn’t made with vinegar which imo is a MUST for coleslaw. The appetizer was decent but for Parm garlic fries I’ve had better.

The food was pretty, but it wasn’t good. Way too much sauce, way too much salt. the garlic fries were WET and soggy. The coleslaw tasted like it had no vinegar, which maybe that’s your thing but it’s not mine. Over all it just left something to be desired. It was crazy cold inside the building like it had no insulation. The waitress was ok and checked occasionally if we needed anything but just had an attitude 🤷🏻♀️ I won’t be back
Excellent food and service. We’ve eaten here twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Everything has been very delicious! We had the same waitress both times, she is very funny and entertaining. We had chicken fried steak and the steak is on a plate by itself while the other parts of the order are on a separate plate. The steak was huge so we took half home. Cute small place. Hats off to the chef!
The food was ok and service was just alright. The girl was friendly, but wasn’t very attentive. We had the roasted poblano scramble, Hangry’s breakfast and the french toast meal. The best thing by far was the french toast. I’d like to go back for a burger, but probably not for breakfast.
Amazing food, very large portions. The coffee was a little lacking for me, even for diner coffee. The strawberry lemonade was great. The country fried steak and eggs were really good. My wife had the el Dorado, and she loved the flavors.
The service was excellent, My wife ordered a well done burger. It came medium rare. When we sent it back the cook argued with our waitress which we could plainly hear. Instead of a new burger, he cooked two halves of burger without cheese and added it to the original cold fries..Really. oh by the way he’s the one with the beard. This is a New place to us our third time was going to be our go to.. maybe one more chance cause it can be so great!!!
What a great place to come eat. The staff are polite and inviting. There are 7 tables so call ahead if you want one. Lily is the best server. Stephanie was a great host. I lucked out and walked into this place. The food is fresh the shakes are perfect to drink with a straw or eat with a spoon, served with whipped topping.
I had the Reuben and it was AMAZING. Piping hot and just the right amount of sauerkraut. A nice addition was jalapeños in the sauerkraut which gave the sandwich a nice spice which I’ve never had before. Lily asked if I wanted the peppers in the sauerkraut and even made my Reese’s peanut butter shake with chocolate which is the way it should be made.
Everyone here is nice even on their bad day.
This is a perfectly simple hole in the wall restaurant. No frills, no gimmicks, just plain good comfort food. Even the cooks in the back were smiling. This has to be a good place to work also if the cooks are smiling.
It has high hairs and boosters for children also. I am recommending this place to everyone. Remember that it has limited seating so be patient with the staff as they are wonderful.
When the wife and I want a burger, we meet the trip to the Valley for a Misfire and cheese curds. Great burger joint, am looking forward to the new location on Francis.
As always, the people and the food are what makes this a killer lunch spot. The booths have seen better days and I usually end up sitting with my chin practically resting on the table, but with how juicy these sandwiches are, it’s probably for the best!
Great server, Burgers were great. Their signature burgers are worth the visit. The prices are about $3 bucks MORE than KillerBurger with a (standard amount of fries) and $2 bucks LESS than Craft and Gather. Check out the menu prices online and treat this a a “diner/greasy spoon” experience. Worth supporting a local establishment. Pricing is why review got 4/5.
Hard to make bad biscuits and gravy… but they did. Make your own gravy. It is easy and not expensive. McCormick’s gravy is just being lazy.
Just picked up an online order about 30-45 minutes ago and the two burgers that were ordered medium, were undercooked to the point that there was a section in one of the burgers that was entirely raw. I also ordered garlic fries which is a 4 dollar upcharge and all I got was regular fries. Never had and issue here before but was very disappointed with this order
First time coming to hangrys and it surpassed expectations in every way. Not only was the food AMAZING (we had the hangtime burger with the best onion rings and tarter sauce)! But the service was full of love and banter! The staff (lily and I believe Trish) treated us like family… after publicly shamming me for never trying cheese curds (which I now understand why. It’s a must). We laughed and enjoyed every second of our meal and service! 10/10!!!!
Burgers were absolutely delicious. Their gluten free buns were soft and super good. Very happy we stumbled upon this cozy little place. The burgers are fresh, never before frozen, and it shows!
Visiting family in Spokane so we stopped in for lunch. Very small building, looks like they do lots of to go orders. No problem getting a seat for 6 with kids in one booth. There are only about 8 tables though so not great for big parties. The food was amazing! I had the pulled pork sandwich. Pork was cooked perfectly and tons of it. Brown sugar bacon was so good, lots of melty cheese. One of the best sandwiches I have had. Crispy chicken sandwich is my daughter’s new favorite chicken sandwich. Chicken was huge and juicy. Family enjoyed their meals of MisFire burger, Reuben and BLT sandwich. The fries are just okay, but they have other options like onion rings,coleslaw or sweet potato fries. Would like to come back and try breakfast! They serve breakfast all day. Everything looked so good.

Love this place! Best hamburgers and prices are reasonable. You get a lot of food. It makes two meals for us. Can’t wait for the new location to open on the north side!
I think the staff is amazing and works extremely hard to please everyone. The only change I would suggest at this time is…. If you are going to use a package gravy for breakfast use half n half or at the very least milk instead of water. You will have much better results . We told our waitress and she mentioned other customers had the same complaint. Hopefully the owner will implement this change. We are excited about the new northside location.

So good, big portions, perfectly cooked eggs, bomb hash browns, thick cut bacon, large pieces of yummy french toast, and a super friendly waitress!!!(super hard to find)
Ate there recently, the pattys and the gluten free burger buns are perfect. 10/10

I placed an order online and went in to pick it up. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious food. I ordered a couple burgers which were fantastic and I recommend getting anything there that has the candied bacon.
The places got pretty busy and the young lady was running all over the place, making sure everyonewas happy( I never got her name but I was there 03/01/24). She was an excellent server. As far as the food one of my son’s and I had Fish and chips and my other son had a Chicken sandwich, all 3 of us really liked the food and will definitely be back.
The building is really small and I am pretty sure every seat was taken and the young lady just kept making sure all customers were ok, she was impressive👏.
Ordered 2 fish and chips, fish was dripping with water, batter tasted burnt. Fries soggy and oily. 50 dollars including a 5 dollar tip. Not my favorite…

Excellent burger! Fast service! The inside is pretty small, but the seating comfortable the diner vibe is pretty nostalgic! I ordered cheese ball burger and the other burger is the cowboy crunch. Would come back.
