My experience at the rainbow Cafe was excellent. The food was excellent along with the service. The atmosphere excellent. I love very thing about the Cafe I highly recommend this place. Once you eat there you will come back again and again

This place is a great little classic diner. The food was great and the portions were pretty big. The staff were super nice and worked with my dietary needs. 10/10 would recommend. Def coming back here.

I don’t eat eggs. So I ordered the biscuits and gravy with breakfast potatoes. (Well I did until today) side of link sausage. 27.00 total 34.00 with tip. For biscuits and gravy.
We have our Kiwanis Lunch meeting every Wednesday at noon. The food has been consistently great, whether it is Chicken Strips, Special of the Day, Fish and Chips, or just a burger. Very enjoyable!!!

Me and my wife came here first time on Monday. Food qas really good. Atmosphere wasn’t bad. Considering it was 2pm and new years day. But the only complaint was about our server. She wasn’t happy and of friendly at all. We only got checked on once and that was when we were nearly finished. Biggest complaint was when I qas nearly out of my OJ. I asked if I can have another one snd she questioned..are you sure you want another one? Uhm. No server should second question if I’m sure I want another drink or not. And for 2 for proper etiquette you always come and ask for refills on our drinks and yea my wife never for asked if she wanted another drink
That is my only complaint . Otherwise I’d totally come back
Hash browns barely cooked, bacon was cold and greasy. Service needs to improve, the lady’s attitude was absolutely not what you expect at an American diner.
Good omelets but need to be able to do just Swiss and not mixed Swiss and cheddar. Waitress was great!!!

I went on a Sunday afternoon with My 2 year old son, we had the grill cheese and rainbow burger it was disgusting my burger wasn’t cooked all the way and sauce they said was good is not my fries was burnt and soggy my son grill cheese seem like it sat under the heat lamp too long, and the waitress was kinda short with everyone and was rude no welcoming feeling at all… I will not be returning

I lost appetite even before I ordered anything. The way server was talking to me was just very rude. I see No reason to go to this place.

Excellent food and good service
The food was cold when I got it, I didn’t have to wait long for it so I don’t understand why it was cold. The place was clean and the workers did a good job. I just don’t understand why the food wasn’t hot when we got it and it didn’t taste good. It’s unfortunate because it was once my favorite place for breakfast.

As a child, in the late 70s, I remember my mother bringing me to the Rainbow Cafe to eat. One of our friends, Johnny Giggis, was the cook back then. My fiance and I still eat there today. The food is still as good as it always was and not overpriced and has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I’m happy to see that the Rainbow Cafe is still going strong. There are not many of the good old restaurants left in Auburn, Washington. Auburn has changed a lot and it certainly hasn’t been for the better. I Highly Recommend the Rainbow Cafe to all who love great food‼️
My kind of place, a good ol’e Cafe with the usual great food and extensive menu. Breakfast is all day.
Wonderful diner style breakfast- perfectly cooked eggs and crispy hash browns + a delicious pancake and sausage. Food was slow to come out, but worth the wait. Will be back.

Came from Kitsap county to meet with my motorcycle club, and the breakfast was very tasty. Eggs Benedict was a great choice, very good.

Cool little dinner attached to a bar with a pleasant atmosphere. Great pie! This was our first time in and we were happy with the experience and will go back.
As a server myself I don’t especially like leaving negative reviews for other places, but I was put off by this place today. My bf loves this diner and was excited to go. We had to seat ourselves and then were not given water the entire time. I understand if the server was alone, the wait was fine. But no water whatsoever. When it came time to order, the server was rude when my bf asked for a milkshake (acting like it was a hassle and being vocal about it) and his good mood completely changed. Food was not great, I could’ve made my salad at home. I know this place is a staple in Auburn but I honestly never want to go back.
Stopped for lunch after fasting for a procedure so I guess it’s technically breakfast(?) The fries were a little over cooked but everything else was good. They put cheddar on their cheeseburger, which I prefer over American processed. And when I asked for extra onion I got plenty of onion. I love it when the cook takes me seriously. 😺 =^..^=
Good food and service.
Have been going here for 40+ years. The service is wonderful, food great, and clientele friendly. It’s consistent, reliable, and the staff decorate for every holiday. If you’re looking for a place you can always count on, this is the place.

Extremely rude waitress. We sat for 30 minutes before she took our order. I politely asked for water after waiting for 40 minutes and she snapped at me. I was shocked. Our whole table was shocked. Her behavior was totally uncalled for. There is absolutely no reason to talk to anyone like that- let alone a customer. They weren’t even busy.
The food was fine but there’s no reason to ever return here when there’s plenty of other mediocre greasy spoons around with kinder servers.
