I love this place, fast, efficient, delicious and of course amazing staff! Don’t change a damn thing !
It is definitely not fancy. But it has great food and friendly people. It’s a small town gathering spot that is very popular.
Delicious breakfast and lunch.
This place is definitely different and in a good way. So they give you a menu and then after you pick what you want you go up the front counter, put in the order including your drinks, then pay for it. The coffee bar is self service. The waitress brings you your food then when you’re done you just go. Instead of having to wait around for your check etc. I found that too be really unique and interesting. I like it that way. We even added some stuff to go at the same time we ordered our food.

Went here during the summer July 31 – August 1 for a short vacay. on august 1 I and my family and friends went here for brunch cause we haven’t ate anything yet. I ordered a chicken sandwich and literally. it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted in a while! I’d recommend going here to eat at ocean shores, I’m missing ocean shores and this food. Hope I can go here again!

When I die, I hope that my heaven at least somewhat resembles this fine establishment. Immaculate service, delectable foods, and a magnificent atmosphere. I’d crusade through the rain and mud with 70 lbs of armor and weaponry strapped to me, facing certain death, if it meant I could take just one more bite of that cinnamon roll French toast.
Great food and plenty of options to choose from., the eggs Benedict omelette was delicious!

10/10 would recommend. Me and my fiancé came here twice on our vacation and loved the experience every time. The ladies there are so kind I was crying from the amount of love I felt from them. Not to mention the food is out of this world. I got the waffle combo each time with just whip but they do offer strawberries too for it. My fiancé got the chicken fried steak and there was two of them hiding under the gravy. I won’t forget these ladies ever and can’t wait to come back already.

This charming restaurant has delicious breakfast! We stopped by before heading back home, and it was a wonderful experience. First time being there, they were pretty full, but Rachel made room for us and made us feel so welcomed! Everyone there is truly great. The biscuits & gravy were awesome and the fried potatoes were so good! Will definitely be stopping by whenever we are in Ocean Shores. Truly makes you feel at home!
So good!!! I had country eggs Benedict and my husband had ham steak and eggs. Everything was beyond delicious. If you want good food this is the place!

Great food and people really made us feel at home with my 2 little girls. We believe it may of been the owner but she made the girls hot chocolate extra special and gave the girls some stickers for being extra good and well behaved. Always a great place to stop and have some great breakfast.
Found this little gem while visiting during the off season. It was super busy then. Family owned amazing, food. Our new favorite stop!!!
If I could give this place a 100 star rating I would ,Rachel was hands down our fav waitress and very welcoming the minute we walked in ,our whole experience here from the staff down to the food was Exceptional and I will be returning for every visit to ocean shores!!

Walking in at 8am on a Saturday feels like I am at a family holiday meal, full swing with people I haven’t seen for months or years. Super focused friendly staff leading you to your table, but you order at the counter, so if your hungry, get in line.
Small place that’s makes you feel at home. I made an offhanded joke to embarrass my wife that it’s her birthday tomorrow in front of Rachel. She came over a little bit later and gave her a cinnamon roll and a little candle! It was really sweet. Plus the cinnamon roll was delicious. Will definitely come here again when we’re in town. Thanks Rachel and the staff at Our Place.

The foods decent. The service is mid. It’s fast food for breakfast. If I had known the quality was the same as actual fast food I would have went elsewhere. Its not bad but also not 40$ for 2 plates good either.
This place was good. We loved our food. Try the mushroom Swiss burger. It was amazing. The place is small, but the kind woman at the door really made everything go smoothly. Nice people work here. I definitely recommend if traveling to Ocean Shores.

It’s not too often that I order a burger, nothing against them, I just usually choose chicken. Our Place’s burger hit the spot perfectly! The service was very friendly. It’s always nice to see smiling faces and have a chance to chat a bit with the amazing people who work hard to give us great service. Five stars everyday!
My absolute favorite place to eat in town. I live here and eat here a couple of times a week. The people that work here are so nice. They have giant biscuits and cinnamon’s rolls all made from scratch. It’s usually very busy on the weekend so get here early . It’s very low key and unfussy. If you want fancy go somewhere else lol !!! Absolutely the best country cooking in town!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The rare mornings when you go out for breakfast may be doubly important! Waiting for the typical breakfast restaurant can be an extreme sport on Saturday mornings; this was not your typical breakfast restaurant. The approach is unique, but it is efficient! Great food, and the staff is friendly. The restaurant seems to run like clockwork! I can’t wait to come back!
The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and prices were good. We had a large group and everybody ordered something different to sample and it was all amazing!!!
This place reminds me of 1980’s family and friends fun dinning. Was a bit differant than I expected but it was a great experience. I had the ham and eggs only because I can’t have glueten but DAAANG the pancakes looked yummy! So did the Biscuits and Gravy!

Great atmosphere and good food. I got breakfast and the rggs benedict is great and fulfilling. The service was good as well. My only complaint was the fact they didn’t have hashbrowns only fried potatos.
Have been coming here to Our Place for quite some time. Staff is always friendly, cooks are outstanding, food is well worth a visit.
The only downside is the small size of the restaurant. Because it’s so popular, tables fill up quickly. Food is very good, the self serv for coffee and condiments is ok by me.

The service here was great. The staff were all very friendly and explained the whole flow. They were very accommodating of our dietary needs, including substitutions. Though they did not have gluten-free bread, there were plenty of other choices. They have specials daily, and this time, it was crab eggs Benedict. They gave a very good portion of crab, and the eggs were poached perfectly. They were quite speedy. My best friend who went with us could not stop raving about the biscuits, and she doesn’t normally like biscuits. We always got large portions, and it was reasonably priced.

We ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and a breakfast sandwich.
The cinnamon roll French toast concept is pretty unique and cool. However, I don’t think a cinnamon roll is actually a great vehicle for French toast. You get 2 cinnamon rolls worth of French toast though, so you’re definitely not going to leave hungry.
Breakfast sandwich on their homemade biscuit was good. The biscuit was pretty big and heavy so I only ate one side of it. The potatoes were pretty salty but I’m really sensitive to salt so take my comment with a grain of salt 😛
Staff were super nice which made this trip a delight. Place was buzzing and had a good atmosphere.
Would I come here again? I’m not sure. If I were ever in town again, I might explore another place for breakfast.

Good food, friendly service, and clean. Update. Have been back a few more times and definitely would recommend it. Food is always great. Wish they would do the ordering a little different, but either way great food.
I had their stack (3) pancakes, which were overcooked and hard. We were short on time, so I tried to continue eating. I had to use my butter knife to cut out a piece to eat. Maybe it was just my batch of pancakes, but I would like to try them again just to see if it was a fluke.

Their name is appropriate as this is our place to eat breakfast. Service is top notch and they are definitely the beach diner you have to go to. They are opened from Thursday to Monday for breakfast and lunch, which they serve all day.

I and my partner had a very good experience here. Though you order at a counter, the hostest (who was superb) helps manage seating so that customers don’t have to “shark” tables. Though we arrived during a busy time, we didn’t have to wait long for our food. It also helped that we could serve ourselves water and coffee. The food was fine, but I most appreciated the efficiency and kindness of the staff.
Used to be the best breakfast in town but the chef loves paprika on/in everything! Even the hashbrowns are red! Overwhelming!
