Fantastic cafe! Counter service but full service feel. Superb brunch selection we tried it all and it was all good.
Wonderful tasting espresso and good ham and eggs and the potatoes were done perfectly.
We popped in for breakfast today. The line was rather long, because it was worth the wait. Once our order was placed, we were served quite quickly. The coffee was good, and the meals were tasty. I had the breakfast sandwich which I recommend. We also had biscuits and gravy, french toast, and omlettes. Even the picky kids gave a thumbs up.
I saw they had beer as well, but that will be for later.
I’ll be back.
Good service and a good breakfeast on weekends wait times quite long in the summer months
Great food, friendly people and lots of space
Good food, friendly and helpful staff.
Nice cafe just after the Peace Arch crossing. Food and coffee were nice. Friendly staff.
I wasn’t impressed with lack of clarity on the bill and most items without prices on the menu.
I can appreciate frequent fluctuations in the food supply prices but not showing them explicitly to customers doesn’t win them back.
Had a great breakfast. Just like home!! Friendly staff, clean and courteous also. Inside seating with windows overlooking the bay and outside seating as well. I highly recommend this place. I will be back!!
Great AMERICAN SPIRIT…
Friendly staff, good coffee and nice indoor and outdoor seating area
Love love love this place for Sunday brunch! Fabulous food, Great atmosphere, lovely seating and really friendly staff!
Definitely a place to be a regular at!!!
Yum! I had the best sandwich I’ve eaten in years, anywhere, at this gem of a cafe today. My son had a breakfast sandwich like none he’s ever had before and he also loved it. Looking forward to another lunch sometime soon! And the food was very fast too!
Excellent in all aspects! Next time I am here on vacation, it’s a must.
Had the pulled pork migas and it was delicious. Smoky, cheesy, perfect breakfast. Also had a PSL and it was really good too. Highly recommend this place!
Friendly and very accommodating staff. Our party had some food allergies and everyone went out of their way to be sure our needs
were met. Clean and interesting decor. Wide variety of breakfast choices and food was
excellent. Will definitely return!
This is my favorite place to eat breakfast, and they do it, oh so well! “The Sam Hill” is my favorite! And to top it all off, Cherise, (I hope I spelled that correctly.) and her crew are so wonderful and engaging!
Decent little lunch spot in downtown Blaine. Nice sidewalk seating area, too. Menu is super accessible, nothing too outlandish or pretentious. Prices are fair, staff is friendly, and service is prompt.
This was my first visit to them. But I’m going to be going back
Had another amazing breakfast today! We are obsessed with this spot and literally part of the reason we moved to Blaine was to be in walking distance to this awesome restaurant. We get pork migas and omelet G…phenomenal everytime! The staff is so sweet and we love coming here every week. A new feature we just discovered is their fall adult beverage menu👌…we can’t stop ordering the honey pear margaritas! Excited to try all the other drinks too👍👍
Very nice staff, great food, and a tasty variety of dishes!
One of our favorite local lunch time stops that offers sandwich/soup/salad combos and more. Staff know our faces and orders almost by heart now and it’s very clean, the service is great and we are always made to feel welcome. Dogs welcome on the patio seating area. Lots of parking along street and even when there’s a lunch time crowd, the food still comes out fast, hot and fresh.
The ingredients are hearty and fresh. The bread (rye) was a perfect choice. Seeded mustard brings everything together in this sandwich.
The service is outstanding and the seating area is spacious.
Starbucks isn’t open for inside seating so this is the place now. Excellent double shot Americano and great service.
Nice staff. Very friendly. Patrons were equally nice.
Have found our new breakfast place. Great food, great service and it’s local!
Great choices on the menu. Breakfast or lunch. Omelette was delicious. Real gem in Blaine.
This place is absolutely amazing, the food beat out our previous favorite establishment and their coffee is wonderful as well. Their pulled pork omelet is to die for. Will 1000% come back again and again. Staff is friendly, helpful and service was great. Thank you thank you!
Staff and food were excellent
Delicious food. Got the vegetarian Semiahmoo with tomato basil soup and huevos rancheros. Would recommend trying the Semiahmoo, it has onion marmalade which tasted very different (super delicious) than anything I’ve tried before.
Boarder town, the first exit or the last, depending on the direction your heading on I-5. Great omelet potatoes and coffee that we dream about.
I love this cafe! It’s the best !!! It is our go-to breakfast place as we live in Birch Bay. The breakfast and meals are delicious and consistent. And the mochas !! The owners and team are so warm, friendly and hospitable- truly top notch. It feels like home away from home!! Thank you 🙏🏼!
Very friendly and gladly accommodated to make dishes vegan
Excellent almond milk London Fog
I love this Cafe. I personally really like their Biscuits and gravy (with sausage and egg) and their French toast. Their berry cream soda and blackberry white chocolate mocha are amazing!!
We stopped in here for breakfast before an appointment in Blaine. The atmosphere was rustic (which is a good thing) and the service was very good. I had the Sam Hill breakfast and opted for the ham steak which was a decent thickness. The rye bread was hearty and nicely complemented with their raspberry jam. My wife had the Drayton Harbor which is a meatless version of the Sam Hill. I have to say that the Country Potatoes are excellent. I rarely eat an entire serving of potatoes / French fries but these warranted finishing.
I was pleased to see almost the entire staff wearing masks as a good measure.
Great service, great food, Brandon was super awesome with quick service and great customer service!
Great for breakfast!!! Can’t go wrong!
Cozy friendly cafe serving up good food with fast friendly service downtown Blaine. Would recommend stoping by if your in the area.
This was a great find for breakfast after cross the border early in the morning! Excellent service, especially as they pre-split portions onto separate plates for those of us sharing meals, great portion size, and fair price in my opinion. Also the pulled pork migas tasted amazing, with the potatoes on the side perfectly crispy and delicious! Would definitely recommend for breakfast if you’re in the area!
Went there this morning (Thursday 10am).
Large seating area,
Friendly and quick service.
Had an omelette, was delicious.
They had orange pop, nobody ever does, nice work, haha.
Kitchen staff was very friendly.
This place is better than any breakfast spot in White Rock by miles.
Very impressed all around.
I’ll be coming back again.
Keep up the great work.
Well spaced out tables. No line to order and our food and drinks were delivered quickly.
Tasty food.
Good breakfast. You don’t need more or less. Service is nice, and the cafe feels nice to be in.
There is nothing special, but food is decent. Order at counter & food is delivered to the table. Staff is attentive. Breakfast is decent. For Blaine, it’s an acceptable choice for dining.
Pretty delicious food. Service was warm and friendly and great! I had the D street turkey sandwich with tomato soup and my partner had the McBride’s club sandwich with a salad. We were pleasantly surprised how tasty our meals were. Will definitely come back when I’m on this side of the border again
Great service. Perfect portion size. Nice atmosphere. Huge coffee mugs!
We were staying at a nearby expensive hotel that had major issues with its restaurant, and it really had majorly dented our overall expensive, weekend experience, so we decided to go out of that area to get some breakfast to try to finish off our trip on hopefully a good note before traveling back to Gig Harbor.
Boy, did we make a good decision!!!
I’m a business owner myself, and really appreciated the attention to detail the owners put into this place! All aspects of the restaurant I was able to notice in this visit were top notch. I consider myself a nice person but who can also be quite analytical and perfectionist, and am in quality control mood/ mode right now as I write this lol, so here goes:
I liked the nice variety of selections on the menu – they even had lattes – and appreciated the friendliness and ease of pre-ordering the food on the phone, and their patience and helpfulness because we were in a big hurry and wererather confused about what we wanted.
When we got there, I loved the ambience- open spaces, colorful art on the walls and music, and how they thoughtfully spaced the tables out a little (not all crammed as in a lot of other places) as we live in a world now of pandemics, and that’s important. On that note, we also appreciated how all the staff wore masks.
All of our dishes were very thoughtfully made and presented, and each and every bite was awesome 👌 My husband literally fell in love with his spicy Huevos Rancheros dish (because I cook too) to the point that I was getting jealous lol and he even left a note about it on the table saying “wow,” and tipped extra! My son had the Cinnamon French toast he appeared to be enjoying, and I had the Spinach and Mushroom Omelette- They didn’t forget my request and made sure it had a lot of mushrooms! 🙂
Not a fan of fried potatoes but they were nicely done and not too oily.We didn’t have to go to an additional coffee shop because we were able to get a chocolate caramel reduced-sugar soy milk latte right there.
In addition, the prices were very reasonable in relation to the decently sized portions served!
The friendly courteous staff was a sigh of relief from the past experience at other restaurants we’d been to recently, where wait staff had been rude, getting our orders wrong, confusing menus, blowing off concerns/requests, forgetting about us, and serving others who go there after us first, being in a super hurry, and everything else you can imagine.
Sorry if my review here was a little long, but this restaurant was such a contrast to the previous expensive places we had gone to over the weekend that I just felt the desire to express our appreciation for this establishment making a great finale to our Spring Break trip.
We understand the restaurant business is probably a really tough one, and we don’t want to be too entitled and snooty as a lot of other reviewers tend to be, but really…Simple/basic, friendly customer service, decent food and a nice looking place go a long way to make a great eatery and Peace Arch Cafe met and exceeded that!
Thank you Peace Arch Cafe! We don’t live that nearby (3 hours away) but will definitely be back!
Great food, exceptional service, and friendly staff makes this one of the best places to grab a bite to eat in whatcom County I would recommend everyone to stop here at least once
Went in for a couple cocktails. Nice place with very friendly staff. Made a spicy but great Bloody Mary. Fairly busy but great service. Will definitely return.
This place is so cute, such a good atmospheric and great staff. The customer service is terrific and we got our food so quick. The food was great everyone at my table left with an empty plate and the drinks are even better.
Great food and the service is amazing. The restaurant is clean and bright with a nice little patio.
This place never disappoints! Always amazing food and service!
Food done well, good coffee! A different brand of sausage would be nice.
Great place, good food, good drinks. I enjoyed it, great atmosphere as well!
The biscuits and gravy are absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and I loved the atmosphere!
Called here after crossing the border from a trip to Canada for breakfast. Large open clean restaurant with very nice and good staff. Food was excellent.
So ridiculously good we came for breakfast two days in a row. Everything was amazing. I’m not a huge fan of breakfast potatoes but they were off the charts yummy 🙌🏼
Great service, very clean restrooms,Great food. Fresh made.
Delicious food, prompt and friendly service, definitely worth a stop here.
