I can tell just from walking in this place is gonna be great. I’m leaving a review before our food even comes because I just know it’ll be good. I’ll edit to update after! AND THEY HAVE SOUR BEER! ugh! *chefs kiss* beautiful.

This place was a culinary delite in a small Washington town. The menu was comperable to any upscale restaurant in Chicago. The roasted Brussel sprount appetizer was the best I have ever tasted. The carrot, ginger, coconut soup was tangy but sweet .The entrees were varied for even the finest of palates. The decor was very plain but the food was first class. This is a must place to visit

  4. Katherine Koudele

I had the Cali burger and a side house salad. All were delicious and beautifully presented. I was very pleased at the quality of the food at a small town a diner like this. Rivals trendy eateries on Seattle. The service friendly and quick. Highly recommend!

  5. Kate Carpenter

Delicious food!!! The chicken mushroom soup was my favorite part, but everything had great flavor! Will definitely eat here again if I’m in this area!

  6. Johanna's Adventures

I had the French dip. It was WONDERFUL!!

  7. Trent Turner

  8. Summer Cox

Was looking for a little mom and pop breakfast place, and this place exceeded our expectations! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We will be back for sure!

  9. Inna Koriavets

Nice beautiful ladies who’s working there, delicious food (especially I like tomato basil bisque :)),
    Recommend this place!

We had both breakfast and dinner at PK’S both were incredible. The staff was kind, prompt and their personalities are down to Earth. For breakfast we had the avocado toast and the Spaniard, both delicious. For dinner we enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates, chili lime shrimp, pesto pasta and the roasted chicken. We had plenty to take home, but wanted to try everything since it was amazing. Oh and you can’t forget the dessert! The mini tarts…were packed full of flavor.
The mimosa list is unique and I enjoyed a couple.
The Hawaiian was my favorite, but the huckleberry was good too!
You can tell she puts her heart into what she cooks and takes pride in her dishes. That’s why we wanted to keep trying new things.
This will be our go to next time we visit Bank’s Lake.
Thanks for your hospitality and cooking us a meal, with the at home feel.

Their tomato bisque is AMAZING on the bread they make for it!
Wish I could say more than that but I’ve only tasted that as a coworker brought it to work the other day. Haven’t been to the place m’self, yet.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner (house salad with trout, Brussels sprouts, tomato soup) and a super yummy dessert (French silk pie). What a surprise to find a great restaurant like this in the small town of Grand Coulee. The service staff were super friendly and fun. All around great experience! We are from out of town but if we lived here we would visit this spot often.

Excellent breakfast burrito. Fast, friendly service.

  14. Steven Crouch

I had a mushroom burger and I can say it was the best I ever had

Not easy to find anything other than barfood and fast food in these small towns but PKs culinary delivers good food. Made in house and loaded with good meat, good flavours AND some actual vitamines. They also understand that a good wine lifts the food. What a relieve.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time!

  16. Jon Ardis

We had an awesome dinner and breakfast with a group of friends. The food was delicious and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. It was an unexpected highlight of our weekend trip.

  17. Allison Fletcher

    Delicious dinner and great service.
Our kids enjoyed their grilled cheese and mac and cheese.
The adults enjoyed brisket fries, caesar and house salad, chicken fried steak, and the brisket sandwich.
I wish this place was closer to home!

What a hidden gem! We stopped in for lunch while visiting the dam on a whim. I got the chicken pesto wrap, my husband got the brisket sandwich and my daughter got chicken nuggets and apple slices. I love the fresh fruit for kids, many places only offer greasy french fries. My husband and I LOVED our food. Everything was made from scratch and the pesto sauce in my wrap was to die for. The staff was so kind and accommodating, considering my 8 month old was being chatty and chewing on every spoon in sight. 😉 Even with being fairly busy, we still got our food quickly and were checked on multiple times. My only downside was that we almost missed the place! I wish it was marked with it’s name from the street. Would definitely stop back and recommend to others. Usually you expect only diner food from a small town like this, so this was such a pleasant surprise!

Everyone must try their homemade hash. It’s the best I’ve ever had. I love this place ❤

What a find! A must if you’re anywhere near. Bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates drizzled with maple. Brisket. S’mores cake. Pinot noir. A menu that has something for everyone including many gluten free options. Great ambiance. Great service.

PK’s is wonderful… I had the Groovin Shroomer burger, and my wife had the house greens with the Shimp skewers – VERY good. I highly recommend. Might be a bit of a wait, but worth it.

The food is made from scratch and totally affordable. I got the steelhead and it was cooked perfectly.

The French dip was super tender and great fries. Thin cut steak fries that were crispy but not quite potato chips.

We tried the bacon wrapped dates and they were really good. Just a bit sweet for our taste, but exactly what it said on menu so we expected that. Bacon was crispy on the outside.

We’ll be going here any time we are in the area.

Quite the surprise; don’t let the exterior fool you!

My wife and I were on our way back from Western WA to our home in North Idaho and were passing through Grand Coulee about dinner time. We have some strict dietary requirements and try to stay away from processed foods so the Google description of this restaurant fit the bill.

Upon arriving in town, we also needed some gas for our car and decided to go there first which led us to pass right by PK’s. The outside looked a bit sketchy so I decided to ask the gas station attendant for a good place to have dinner in their town and she recommended PK’s. It was about 7:00 PM on a Sunday evening and the town appeared to be closed for the night as there were no people visible at all. With that said, we reluctantly decided to go to PK’s but we had an exit strategy in mind if it seemed sketchy after we went inside.

We parked right in front of the restaurant and as soon as we entered, it was like stepping into a another world. It was as if the whole town goes here for dinner. We were greeted by enthusiastic staff and upon examination of the menu, the choices looked more like a fancy uptown restaurant than a small town diner.

With all that said, we were very impressed with the staff and the food and would definitely eat here again when passing through town.

I stopped in with my family (4 adults & 2 small children) on a whim on our way back from Grand Coulee Dam. Decent restaurants are few and far between in small towns like this and we weren’t sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and attentive, the service was relatively quick (they were busy) and the food was tasty and satisfying. Honestly, the tomato basil soup rivaled the best I’ve had from any restaurant in Seattle. Couple all of that with very reasonable prices and you’ve got a winning combination. Make time to stop here!

  25. Jerae Vandevender

We were visiting the dam and surrounding lakes this week, and came across this delicious place. The bacon wrapped dates and French dip were amazing.

  26. Hugh Theiler

I’ve eaten a burger at every kitchen in the area. The burgers here are the best. Fries and salads are great. Breakfast was a home run. Can’t wait to get back and try more of the menu.

Ok, a month later we went back. Country fried steak…..wowza! Still the best burger in town. And the French dip, from a dip-extrordinaire, was fantastic! Plus great service.

  27. Katie Yetter

Wow! We took two irritable toddlers for a family dinner. The waitress brought the kids meal out so fast. Their fries are fun shaped and garlicky delicious. The steak bites were a hit. We loved the brisket sandwich which was over and inch and half of brisket balanced with pickles. The goopy burger was amazing and spicy. Don’t pass on the huckleberry ice cream it had whole berries!

  28. Julie Engberg

Delicious, gourmet breakfast, very modestly priced. It was November and chilly inside but it was worth it! Highly recommend.

  29. Mik “Mikdamick” Keyes

I had the smoked brisket breakfast hash, It was delicious. The waitress was awsome, happy and had it all covered. I’m going back any chance I get.

  30. Titus Hass

Seriously, one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The chicken fried Steak and eggs…wow!
