Nice staff. Restaurant had a odd smell. First trip had the pineapple rice bland and mushy. Second trip was red curry. So so so salty I couldn’t eat it.
We had the Mama Phad and Crispy Generals Chicken. Delicious! 100% coming back to try the other dishes. Glad to have some added food diversity in town.
Best Thai restaurant in that area. Don’t under estimate their numbers on spicyness 🙂. Went as a group and ordered different items and everything turned out very good. Will definitely go again if I pass by Sultan
The longer they are open the better they get! We love the Larb Park Salad, Mama Phad, and Keemao Noodles. I’m so happy we have such a great Thai place so close to home.
Food is absolutely delicious. We got our order to go and the chicken was so crispy and the spice level was perfect. 10/10 would recommend

Who do these people think they are, making the most delicious crispy garlic chicken I’ve ever had? And giving such large portions?? Crispy Garlic Chicken: amazing. Orange Chicken: so good. Fried Tofu Pad Thai: perfect. Guy at counter: easy on the eyes.

OMG! The green curry with vegetables was fantastic. Going to bump the spice to 4 next time. I’ve never had spring rolls that tasted so *fresh*. I can’t find a better word. We will be returning. Get in your car and go eat already! Food is great!
My husband and I brought his 93 year old step mother here for Sunday lunch September 18th. Possibly the best Thai food any of us have had. The staff was attentive and very welcoming. They treated takeout customers as well as dine in, which was impressive. My Phad Thai craving has been satisfied. None of us had any leftovers!

A little on the spendy side but very good food
Last night was my first time going to Sultan Thai restaurant. The outside appearance is quite plain, the setting is roadside strip mall.plenty of parking.
Inside is somewhat spartan, very clean and well maintained from what I remember. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. They were attentive but not bothersome. It was as if they were waiting to be signaled when needed, of course they would still show up if your water glass was getting low.
The menu was simple to read, several well layed out pages in a sturdy binder with all of the expected categories. I did not see beer on the menu, but when I asked, it was available. No Thai beer yet, but has been ordered.
I ordered crispy Basil chicken 5 Stars and my friend ordered Garlic chicken 2 Stars, both were dinner’s. They also brought the spice tray in case we wanted more heat. We both ended up using the spice tray heavily,. I found the fish sauce with hot Asian peppers excellent, but try not to overdo it as it will change the flavor of your food. So yes the food was good 👍, hot enough to make my nose run a bit and also tasty enough that neither of us talked too much until all food was gone.
What must be remembered is that this is not a ‘fancy’ Thai restaurant, there are probably some things not available. This is just good food, friendly atmosphere and fair prices.
They are my work neighbors and they do a great job and I’m so happy to have them right next door. Amazing food!!!!!

My family and I have only ate here twice but this is by far one of the best Thai restaurants we’ve ever had!
Fresh vegetables. General TSO sauce was different than expected, fresh fried Chicken. Excellent chicken saute and crab ragoons. Would like hot green tea. Fresh 😋 food! Tom Kah was comforting.
Excellent food! Highly recommend! Ordered the crab fried rice expecting imitation crab and they use REAL CRAB! Very impressed and will definitely order from regularly! Better than Lanna Thai in Everettt!

Sultan Thai was delicious ! The portions on the entrees, noodle dishes, and rice dishes were very acceptable for the price and packed a lot of flavor. My only complaint was that the appetizers are pretty spendy for the portion you get – but theyre still tasty.
I have been to Thailand many times, the food here is better 🙂
Sultan Thai is legit the best thai restaurant in the valley! Great portions, everything is fresh, its incredible.
Food: Everything we have ordered, the pad thai, crab fried rice, mango sticky rice, orange chicken, crab rangoon, satay, spring rolls, rice and peanut sauce, peanut curry, yellow curry, mango ice cream and the thai tea….seriously you cannot go wrong here. I haven’t found a thai place yet that can compare. I hope they stick around for a long time!!

Ordered take out and food was mediocre, orange chicken was great but Mongolian beef was dry and overcooked. Pineapple fried rice was just ok and then my daughter found a hair strand on the chicken. Was hoping for a good experience due to other reviews but pretty dissatisfied with quality. The service was very kind though.

Although I’m glad that the Sky Valley is getting more food options, Sultan Thai was overall disappointing. It certainly has things to like about it, and serves decent Thai cuisine. However, Benjarong in Monroe outdoes Sultan Thai in every way except for location (if you live nearer to Sultan than Monroe), especially price. I was very disappointed in the relatively small portion sizes for the price, especially compared to its competitors – and saddest of all, it didn’t taste better either.
My wife and I have eaten here three times and recommend it
It is quaint, quiet and very clean. The lighting is good and quiet background music plays.
The food is tasty with some interesting spices I’m not familiar with. Large portions that arrive hot. Nothing drenched in sauces and no MSG!
So far my favorite dishes are the sauteed Brussels sprouts (in a balsamic sauce) and the cashew/pineapple rice dish.

This place is delicious, and incredibly fresh. My favorite is I loge broccoli, and the orange chicken is to die for. My 4 yr old is a VERY picky eater – only likes rice – she loves the orange chicken!!! The owners are really nice, brought special children’s cups and plates to us, offered a special juice. Loved coming here for Christmas eve dinner.
Really disappointed. Been here a few times. 1st time was good, 2nd, 3rd, 4th was ok but kept thinking we would eventually get the kind of food we had our 1st visit so we tried them again and the food was awful. Absolutely no flavor at all. We ordered our dishes 3*** and it was completely bland. The chicken tasted like the boiled chicken I make for my dog when he’s not feeling well. So I did something I’ve never done and brought my food back to explain the issue. They took the food we brought back, tossed it in a wok with dried peppers and gave it back to us. When we got home the food at least had some spice but it was ice cold and just gross. Won’t be eating there again. I’ll save my Thai food cravings for Thai on Main in Monroe from now on.
The food was great, the help was friendly and on the ball. I will definitely go back . I had cashew chicken with white rice , big helpings thank you for the experience 😋

The food here is great! They have a pretty decent selection as far as their menu goes. I think it’s best for ordering out. The dining area is small and a bit awkward.
So glad to have a Thai place right in Sultan! Online ordering is super convenient, as always. I had the green curry lunch combo and asked if they could substitute the chicken for tofu. And they did! So go forth, fellow vegetarians! Patronize this local business! 🙂

My family of 4 with 2 children really enjoyed our meals and time spent at sultan Thai. Not pictured is fresh veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce which were **to die for** delicious. They were so fresh and tasted like pure heaven. Service was fantastic, walked right in on a Sunday and was sat right away. Ordered shortly after, food arrived to table within 10/15min.
10/10 I would eat here again in a heart beat. Delicious and fresh food with amazing flavor.
Honestly, since this place opened, it’s been bomb. Admittedly, I almost always get the orange chicken (without the orange peels/slices in it)… but I’ve heard many good things about the other foods they have.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. A choice of firm or soft tofu! Mango sticky rice was awesome.
We were returning back to the city after hiking to the Wallace Falls and stopped by here on a whim because my kids wanted Thai and we saw their sign from the street. Best unexpected discovery ever!!! This place is a gem. The interior is spotless, the dinnerware is beautiful and modern, the service very attentive and prompt. But the food is really the star here. I have my “go to” Thai dishes for any new place we try, yellow curry, rice noodles with broccoli, and mango sticky rice, and all three were delicious here, but the curry and sticky rice were amazing! They even ask you if you want firm or soft tofu for your curry, which is rarely an option. Very very good. This is our new go-to place to stop by on the way from the pass.

I eat here arguably too much, going here almost everyday for lunch, and the staff is so kind and the food is delicious. I have had almost everything on their menu and there is not a single dish I would not order again. My personal favorite is the kra pao kai dao at the moment, the curries are all so great and their peanut sauce is the best I have ever had and I have had quite a lot.

Food here is quite good. They’re fast and really friendly. They ask if you want utensils with pickup, which I think is a very kind gesture.
I’d love to see gailan in the pad see ew but broccoli is a fine substitute and I know how hard it is to get a constant supply. Still a great dish.
Boat noodles are different from what I’ve had, but their version is actually really good anyways! The broth is a bit sweet and for some spice and tang, I found that the addition of chili powder and prik dong fills that spot.
Pad thai is a bit sweet for my taste but I add a touch of fish sauce and it balances it just right.
Absolutely amazing and delicious. I got the crispy garlic chicken and the Thai fried rice and it was incredible. I got the rice spicy and it was perfect. I highly recommend this place it was busy and quick and perfect. 10/10

We got chicken pad thai and fried tofu pad see ew. It was hot and ready to pick up when we got there. My only wish is that they’ll have deep fried tofu available one day. The prices were also a bit high for the portion size. Other than that, no complaints!

Casual dining, service with a smile FABULOUS service and DELICIOUS food.
We received a friendly greeting with menus. Ice water was served, then our server returned with hot cups of their House soup; I wanted to order a whole pot to go! Delicious with perfectly cooked veggies & a tasty broth–pure comfort on a drizzly afternoon.
Our main courses were also PERFECTLY prepared and served; totally flavorful with spice level as specified. Nice portions of rice, pad Thai & main course.

I got the most generous portion of chicken in their delicious chicken satay. It could have been a meal in itself. The Ginger Herbal entre was delicious, and I’m guessing many things on the menu are too. Not a fancy space, but super nice staff and delicious food. 😋

I just moved to sultan and wanted to give this place a try wow it blew me away cause most of the restaurants around Monroe was not that great but this place just on another level hat off to the cooks will definitely come here again

My family has traditions. One of our Sunday traditions after church is to go to Sultan Thai and rotate through our favorite rice and middle dishes. We have never been disappointed! The food is delicious, the service, impeccable and the atmosphere super clean and family friendly. A true Sultan gem.
