An understated thai restaurant with amazing dishes. Our server was also amazing and made the whole experience memorable.

So delicious!!! Have celiac and Thai food is safer. This is the best we’ve ever had. Had pawn pad Thai, pineapple fried rice with pawns and sticky rice with mango. The pineapple was fresh not canned as most Thai restaurants use. Will be back.

  3. Katherine Franklin

Delicious food and Thai iced tea! Menu has great descriptions of all the dishes.

  4. Capri Jensen

If you love Thai food, search no further. Dining here is fine dining taste that won’t leave you hungry. The chef and owner served us and the food did not disappoint! The atmosphere felt authentic and modern and the food is a work of art

The best Thai food in Washington hands down. Great fresh ingredients, large servings, and excellent service. Don’t miss out on the Panang and Mango Sticky Rice. Why do I eat anywhere else?

This has to be THE best authentic Thai I’ve ever had! Highly recommended. The menu has a wide range of very authentic Thai cuisine as well. Owner is on site a lot. Spectacular service as well. I really enjoyed the Thai iced tea with coconut milk. I ate at nearly 1000 resteraunts last year. Breakfast and dinner and sometimes lunch. I’m building a food blog for travelers and even working on a book. This place will be included for surely.

Wow! Authentic Thai cuisine. Take out is easy. There is one outside table if you want to dine-in and avoid all the takeout packaging waste. I would have to say it is the best Thai food north of Seattle.

  8. Tina M

We are on a road trip from Texas and found this GEM. The menu is beautifully written and the dishes live up to their descriptions. It’s small, cute and very clean. Staff were all very helpful and gracious. We had the Thai chips and dips, Tom Kha, R8: Pad Gra-Tiem Prik-Thai / Garlic (GF/VG), and N4: Sen Mhi Pad Nahm Prik Pow.

So good! If in this area again we won’t miss it.

The real deal. Best Thai food we have had in years. Absolutely recommend. We had the grapefruit salad, beef salad, drunken noodle, mango sticky rice, and black rice pudding. Everything was delicious. Fresh and unique flavors enhance traditional Thai dishes. Tons of herbs and bright fresh flavors.. Service was great as well. Do not miss this incredible restaurant! Ten stars.

  10. Bryan bkk

Delicious Thai food with creative display. Oversized (American) portions, authentic taste and great dish presentation and arrangement, not common in Thailand. Had the Pat Thai, Penang Gai and Pat Grapaw Gai.

  11. Ioana Cozma

This was one of the best Thai places I’ve ever tried, I wish I lived closer! So much care goes into each dish. You can really taste the difference it makes. 5 stars all the way, thank you for a great dinner!

  14. Tawny Darling

OMG. That was an amazing meal. So flavorful and beautiful. Wonderfully sweet staff.

  15. Mimi Zheng

The pad Thai here is sooooo good! Perfectly stir fried and flavored. The Thai tea is delicious as well. I always ask for spicier than the spiciest a restaurant offers in hopes it the perfect one. I’d says it could be spicier, so I’ll ask for much spicier than the most spicy the next time. So for people who love things extra spicy, get extra extra spicy!!

  16. Jim Hughes

Service was terrible! The fresh roll was just weird at best. The pad Thai taste just like the fresh roll eww!! Soups is the only reason this place gets a 2 decent. Wouldn’t go back. Mae phim lakewood Thai and rachawdee far better

Typically never give 5 star reviews unless the restaurant is actually superb in all categories.
Taste of Thai by Wipa definitely deserves it. I am not a local and we are visiting tourist just driving by. Decided to try this Thai restaurant from recommendations and was blown away.

This is the definition of a hidden gem. This is definitely authentic Thai food.
The location is in a strip mall but once you enter you can smell the aroma and wok flavors floating around the restaurant. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and they were all amazing, super tasty with amazingly fresh ingredients. The portions were decently sized and good for sharing. The servers and owner were super friendly and accommodating as we had little kids with us. The only unfortunate thing that happened to us was that we could not try their mango sticky rice as it was not in season.

Definitely on our repeat list for when we are in the area and looking to try more dishes here!

This place is a gem. When we walked in we were greeted by Wipa herself. She seem so gracious and very pleasant. The food was excellent and thoughtfully presented. The fried Kale and shrimp was heavenly! It’s probably one of the nicest if not the nicest Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The young man who was our server was very attentive, thank you! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with Thai decors and photos. The kitchen is somewhat open and it’s fun to see the cook working it’s magic. We will be back!

$15 for such little Tom Yum is disappointing. Rest of the dishes were the same price but portions were better. Delicious flavors.
