1. I am going to start off with this…I do not like sandwiches. I would rather eat something else so when I showed up here to get lunch I was disappointed that this is the restaurant I was going to be eating at…BUT this place has the best sandwich I had ever had.
   I ate the BBQ RBRG and I absolutely loved it. I couldn’t even let the sandwich hit the plate between bites because it was so delicious. My mouth couldn’t wait for the next bite.
   I will be back…I don’t know when because I am not from here, but I will be back!

   Amazing! And thank you for this deliciousness!

   P.S. I bought a second sandwich to go and I was disappointed that I didn’t buy a few more to go.

2. Amazing menu choices! Great specials! I highly recommend this place to everyone! Well worth it! For all the foodies out there, this is a diner you won’t forget.

3. The food is some of the best in Spokane, but you can expect to pay for it. Great atmosphere.

4. After our third very solid experience at Smacky’s I feel it deserves a review. The environment is genuine and positive from the staff, the food is really good. It is a bit more expensive than Subway but I feel it is a better value.

   I do not make it out to the valley often, and I am envious of those who live closer and have more opportunities to experience the entire menu.

5. My husband and I have been going here for years and will be going here for years to come. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, kind, and funny. The prices are great. And everytime we walk in it feels like home.

6. I’m a huge fan of a Reuben sandwich, in fact I’ve eaten them all over the world – like 15 different countries or so and all over America. Including a few places with bold claims such as having the best Reuben in the World. I’m here to tell you, if you are a fan of the Reuben, then you must have their Reubenator in your life! I am willing to say, it is the Best Reuben in the World with some level of authority. Also, their service was great and Smacky’s is a unique and interesting place to visit. Sorry no photo, I got lost in all the glory of my Reubenator and failed to take the photo op.

7. Had a great experience. Everyone at Smacky’s with was super friendly and helpful. I got a Cobb salad; which was delicious and the serving size was enormous!

10. We drive all over the country in a big truck, and when we find a great place to eat, we try to take advantage of that! Read the reviews about this place in new we had to come here and try it! Absolutely no regrets! Personal service, from the owner! I got a Reuben Nader, and they made it perfectly! The extra touches like the toasted garlic, the homemade sauce on the side,And the specialty sodas topped it off! We could only eat half of our sandwiches, so we have a great snack for later too! The spit pea soup is better than what I can make! The atmosphere is terrific, makes us want to stay! Thanks so much for a great experience! Worth the drive from Florida!

21. Absolutely best sandwiches in town. The daily specials are always worth checking out as they have themed days of the week. The torts on Thursday are not to be missed! Try the smackmonkey if you can’t make up your mind cuz it has a little of everything! Don’t sleep on the blackened chicken wrap, either. Best wrap in town for the price!! This is truly a local gem that absolutely deserves to be raved about!!

23. Best Lunch in Spokane. Great sandwiches and the owner is awesome too. He walks around the place and chats with the customers and makes sure if they don’t already have a smile on their face makes sure they leave with one. 5 Stars for sure.

25. My favorite lunch spot to hit when I’m in the area. The staff greets you with a smile and friendly banter as you walk through the door every time. The owner makes a point to meet and greet every new customer. It’s a real experience to visit this hidden gem! I’ve tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed, everything is handcrafted and well worth every dollar spent. The atmosphere and eccentric theme alone is worth the visit!

26. Smacky’s is one of the sammich joints you can find. I have tried the hot and cold. Never liked Reubens before, but the way they are prepared, awesome. From French dips to daily specials. Most impressed.

29. I randomly found this little gem because I wanted a good sandwhich for lunch. I’m not sure how I’ve been around the spokane area for so long without knowing about this place! It’s a cute hole in the wall with a old school touch.

    I had the gourmet turkey and it was divine! They pack their sandwiches with meat and don’t skimp out. The smacaroni salad was also delicious! Definitely recommend coming here!

32. OMG! Best gourmet sandwich I’ve had! I stopped my RV at the truckstop and saw the reviews. Its lovely dining room and downhome-like.

33. First time goers and minus the confusion of how they take orders and seat; the visit was great. This is a true sandwich/deli shop. Yes there’s a few soups and a 4-5 salads on the menu, but it’s the sandwiches that are worth the drive to the Valley from Kendall Yards area. We ordered the Eggstra sandwich and French Dip w Swiss added and both were great. Egg salad had a few green onions in it but so much diced egg it didn’t matter. The French Dip with Au Jus was so much better than chain A##b*s. The tortilla chips was kinda odd side to the pickle but no complaints here:) friendly and reasonable food service time. Two sandwiches plus two drinks plus a thing of cookies, appr 32$ thabk you Smackys!

    Parking: Parking onsite felt a lil cramped because of the diagonal parking style but thats not on the food review score.

    Dietary restrictions: So many choices that it would be hard not to find something. Probably not the place to go for gluten sensitivity or celiac though. They will do sandwiches on lettuce though.

34. This place is fantastic. They might have some of the best sandwiches on earth and I have eaten at sandwich shops all over the world. Congrats on killing it Smacky’s!

37. Amazing sandwiches. I ordered the liver wurst on a sourdough hoagie, dad had the veggie sandwich on whole wheat. The food is BIG, and comes with pretzels and a pickle spear.
    The menu is huge, you have to try thos place. Good bang for your buck.

38. Local sandwich shop that has a great menu that they back up with an outstanding product. Skip Subway, Mike’s and JJ if you want real quality. Get off the freeway and have an excursion. You won’t be disappointed.

39. Smacky’s is simply the best sandwich shop in town, maybe the world. Mike and his crew are top notch with just the right amount of friendliness for how busy they always are. I recommend the Parker stack add pickles, and that’s not even one of their most popular sandwiches! 11/10 every time.

42. Best place ever!! Best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The best sandwiches you’ll ever find. I can’t wait till winter so I can try their soups. The owner is there overlooking everything, a great guy. The place is very comfortable, clean with lots of cool decor. Not a stuffy, corporate deli, truly the best place.

43. The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. Forgot to get sprouts they gave me a big bag for free. One of the best takes on a cheesesteak in town. The price reflects the quality of their ingredients and service. My new favorite. My one hope is that you will some day open for dinner but you have a great thing going. 45. What a great sandwich joint! Fresh made sandwiches that are amazing. I didn’t try the soups because I was stuffed from half my sandwich, but people next us said they are great. You can tell it’s been a family restaurant for awhile and everyone is super friendly. Highly recommend.
